[SET COMMENTS]
Venomicon-P's access to Nasty Plot is one of its best features that turns it into a terrifying sweeper. Hurricane is a better STAB move than Sludge Bomb there is nothing immune to Flying-type moves, and Hurricane has a higher Base Power. Earth Power helps Venomicon-P threaten Pokemon that would normally counter it like Magnezone, Heatran, and any other Electric-types. Roost lets Venomicon-P stay healthy and also gain Stamina boosts from attacks, which makes setting up on physical attackers even easier. High bulk is used rather than any Special Attack investment because Venomicon-P hits hard enough with a Nasty Plot boost, and the bulk makes it much harder to get rid of. Heavy-Duty Boots negates Venomicon-P's Stealth Rock weakness, letting it switch in easier. Stamina is helpful because it makes Venomicon-P much more resilient to physical attacks and also deters Pokemon like Tornadus from using U-Turn.

Venomicon-P benefits from Pokemon that can use Stealth Rock or hazards like Ferrothorn or Garchomp to let it sweep through teams easier. Pokemon that can let it switch into battle like Slowbro and Slowking with teleport, Astrolotl with Encore, and Pokemon with a pivoting move. Pokemon like Landorus-T can switch Venomicon-P into battle and also make it easier to set up because of Intimidate. Venomicon-P can break through Pokemon like Chansey because of its immunity to Toxic, which helps other special attackers like Dragapult. Venomicon-P is a good switch-in to Ground-type moves from Pokemon like Garchomp and Landorus-T so that its teammate does not take damage and Venomicon-P gets a free switch to set up, although Stone Edge sets are a problem for it.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
====
Mystical Fire is an option in place of Earth Power because it lowers the Special Attack of Pokemon it hits, letting it be a nuisance to switch-ins like Tapu Lele and live longer, and it hits Steel-types like Corviknight and Ferrothorn, but it is not strong enough to be that good.

Checks and Counters
====
**Electric-types**: Electric-types can hit Venomicon-P super effectively with Special Attacks, and even though they are weak to Earth Power, Pokemon like Rotom-W, Zapdos, and Air Balloon users can counter it.
**Psychic-types**: Pokemon like Tapu Lele and Slowking have high Special Defense against Venomicon-P's attacks while also hitting it very hard with Psychic, Psyshock, and Future Sight. Future Sight Slowking especially can beat Venomicon-P, then switch out and take not damage because of Regenerator while OHKOing Venomicon-P.
**Specially Bulky Rock-types**: Rock-types like Stratagem with Levitate and Tyranitar with Sand Stream boosting its Special Defense can take care of Venomicon-P without taking much damage themselves.

hey, unfortunately the QC team has decided we're gonna reassign this analysis

there are some pretty basic grammar errors that shouldn't have made their way in here, and even though most of the informational content isn't technically incorrect, it's not really the kind of information we're looking for and the way in which it's presented would require a lot of work to rewrite on behalf of the QC / GP teams. overall we think it would require too much reworking on QC's behalf get this analysis to where it needs to be. i don't want to discourage you from contributing but for now i recommend looking at some published analyses to help get a better idea of what we look for

if you have questions feel free to dm me here or on discord (cg#1000) and ill be totally happy to go into more detail
