[OVERVIEW]

Venusaur's Ability in Chlorophyll, great coverage, and access to powerful residual damage with G-Max Vine Lash make it a top non-Restricted Pokemon in the VGC 2022 metagame. Venusaur also has access to fast Sleep Powder which can shut down much of the metagame. Groudon is commonly its partner in crime as its Drought sets sun activating Venusaur's Chlorophyll. Groudon also patches up Venusaur's Fire-type weakness against Pokemon such as Incineroar and Rotom-H, and Venusaur, in turn, checks Water-types such as Kyogre and Tapu Fini. However, Groudon and Venusaur share common weaknesses to Pokemon such as Kyurem-W and Calyrex-I, so Zacian-C is a good partner to check these Pokemon better.

[SET]
name: Chlorophyll Attacker
move 1: Leaf Storm / Frenzy Plant
move 2: Weather Ball
move 3: Earth Power / Sludge Bomb
move 4: Sleep Powder
item: Life Orb / Coba Berry / Focus Sash
ability: Chlorophyll
nature: Modest / Timid
evs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
in-battle alt: Gmax

[SET COMMENTS]

* Leaf Storm OHKOes Pokemon such as Groudon and Gastrodon and heavily dents Kyogre. When Dynamaxed, it becomes G-Max Vine Lash, which puts on even bigger pressure with its residual damage, able to finish off weakened opponents or Pokemon that rely on Focus Sash. Frenzy Plant provides a stronger G-Max Vine Lash with the downside of being less flexible outside of Dynamax.

* Weather Ball is used in conjunction with Groudon or Torkoal's Drought, becoming a powerful coverage move against opposing Steel-types. It turns into Max Flare under Dynamax, allowing Venusaur to OHKO Zacian-C with Life Orb and hit opposing Venusaur extremely hard.

* Earth Power is used to hit Incineroar and Zacian-C super effectively without relying on Weather Ball for the latter. It turns into Max Quake under Dynamax and boosts Venusaur's and its ally's Special Defense, letting it better take on strong special attackers such as Dialga and Palkia. Sludge Bomb hits Grimmsnarl and boosts Venusaur's Special Attack under Dynamax via Max Ooze.

* Sleep Powder is used to nullify threats and can potentially give Venusaur the upper hand in unfavorable matchups.

* A Modest nature is preferred because Venusaur does not need to outpace Regieleki under sun; however, a Timid nature can be used to grant it this luxury.

* With Life Orb, Venusaur can severely dent opposing teams with G-Max Vine Lash. The boost also allows it to OHKO Zacian-C with Max Flare and 2HKO Assault Vest Incineroar with Max Quake. Coba Berry protects Venusaur from the metagame's various Max Airstream users such as Landorus-T and Yveltal. Focus Sash allows Venusaur to survive one hit from Pokemon like Calyrex-S and Kyurem-W, letting it support teammates such as Groudon and Charizard with Sleep Powder when it doesn't want to Dynamax.

[OTHER OPTIONS]

Weakness Policy can be run on bulkier Venusaur EV spreads such as 132 HP / 44 Def / 76 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe, which usually isn't 2HKOed by Thundurus Max Airstream with Reflect up, to give Venusaur a massive boost to its damage output against the likes of Landorus-T, Thundurus, and Zapdos. Protect can also be run to avoid Fake Out and stall opposing Dynamax turns, but 3 offensive moves in combination with Sleep Powder are generally more useful.

Groudon is commonly its partner in crime as its Drought sets sun activating Venusaur's Chlorophyll. Groudon also patches up Venusaur's Fire-type weakness against Pokemon such as Incineroar (not the best example since Incineroar is also used to soft check Groudon, maybe also mention Rotom-H?). Venusaur has access to fast Sleep Powders which can slow down games and deter opposing Dynamaxes (this sentence is a bit rushed, you should clarify what you mean with "slow down games"). Venusaur is, however, reliant on sun being up to outspeed Pokemon such as Zacian-C and Calyrex-S which can otherwise outspeed and OHKO it so one must manage the weather wisely.
(The overview allows for a wide discussion on how the Pokemon performs in the metagame, try expanding it more)

[SET COMMENTS]

* Leaf Storm hits Pokemon such as Groudon, Kyogre and Gastrodon hard (I think you threaten all of them hard, so you could even say "easily gets rid of" instead of "hits hard", feels less underwhelming). When Dynamaxed it becomes G-Max Vine Lash, that puts an even bigger pressure with its residual damage, able to finish off opponents that are weakened or that have used their Focus Sash. Alternatively Frenzy Plant gives Venusaur the strongest possible G-Max Vine Lash and comes with the added benefit of powerful residual damage at the end of every turn Frenzy Plant provides a Stronger G-Max Vine Lash with the downside of being less reliable outside of Dynamax.

* Weather Ball is used in conjunction with Groudon or Torkoal's Drought, becoming a powerful coverage to hit opposing Steel-types.(AP) which It turns into Max Flare under Dynamax, allowing Venusaur to OHKO Zacian-C and hit opposing Venusaur extremely hard. Sludge Bomb hits Rillaboom and boosts Venusaur's Special Attack under Dynamax via Max Ooze.

* Earth Power is used to consistently hit Zacian-C super effectively without relying on Weather Ball especially on Sludge Bomb sets (here is where you mention our Fire Dark tiger with intimidate). It turns into Max Quake under Dynamax and boosts Venusaur's and its allies' Special Defense (helping it against what?).

* Sleep Powder is used to nullify threats and threatens to waste opposing Dynamaxes. (expand this a bit)

* The given Speed investment allows Venusaur to outspeed Calyrex-S in sun. The rest is poured into Special Attack with a Modest Nature to maximise Venusaur's damage output and its bulk.

* With Life Orb, Venusaur can severely dent opposing teams with G-Max Vine Lash. Coba Berry serves to protect Venusaur from the metagame's various Max Airstreams from Pokémon users, such as Landorus-T and Yveltal. Focus Sash gives Venusaur a one-time guaranteed survival and allows it to fire off a Sleep Powder(you could say that sash is often used when Venu isn't Dynamaxed often and acts as support for Don and Charizard).

[OTHER OPTIONS]

Grass Knot can be run to dent Restricted Pokemon such as Kyogre and Groudon as they tend to be heavy (they are heavy, not only tend to), however, it fails on Dynamax Pokemon. Solar Beam has exceptional power and no drawback but it is unreliable as one has to manage the weather very proactively and as such, Solar Beam is usually skipped (dunno if I want to keep this, I'll leave it to the second QC). Helping Hand allows Venusaur to boost an ally's damage output before it gets Faked Out as Helping Hand has a higher priority (same goes for this). However, this is the opposite of what Venusaur wants to be doing as it is a strong Gigantamax option. Protect can also be run to stall Fake Out and opposing Dynamax turns but 3 offensive moves in combination with Sleep Powder are generally more useful.

No bad, a tip I can give you is: never fear to write too much, worst case scenario I remove something; adding sentences after you have written the entire analysis is often harder.
Implement and I'll give a second look, keep it up!

[OVERVIEW]

Venusaur's Ability in Chlorophyll, great coverage, and access to powerful residual damage with G-Max Vine Lash make it a top non-Restricted Pokemon in the VGC 2022 metagame. Groudon is commonly its partner in crime as its Drought sets sun activating Venusaur's Chlorophyll. Groudon also patches up Venusaur's Fire-type weakness against Pokemon such as Incineroar and Rotom-H(I think you could extend this to how venu helps groudon, ie checking waters.) Venusaur has access to fast Sleep Powders which can slow down games by passifying damage output and deterring opposing Dynamaxes.(Pacifying damage output is a really awkward way to word it, how about "shut down much of the metagame"? Also not sure about the dynamax deterrent part, Landorus-T, Rotom-H, and Zapdos are good max options against sun that can take sleep powder. If your opponents max option is consistently being put to sleep by venu they're probably doing something wrong.) Venusaur is, however, reliant on sun being up to outspeed Pokemon such as Zacian-C and Calyrex-S which can otherwise outspeed and OHKO it so one must manage the weather wisely.(I don't love this. "one must manage the weather wisely" is pretty nebulous without context. I think you can just cut this its not an extremely important downside to mention anyways.)

As Giokio said there's room to expand the overview. Both Groudon and Venusaur struggle with some of the same Pokemon ie Kyurem-W, Calyrex-I, and Landorus-T. You can bring up these problems then answers to them like Zacian-C.

[SET]
name: Chlorophyll Attacker
move 1: Leaf Storm / Frenzy Plant
move 2: Weather Ball / Sludge Bomb
move 3: Earth Power / Sludge Bomb (I asked QC earlier about this it should be this. I doubt you should be running non-Weather Ball venu on a sun team.)
move 4: Sleep Powder
item: Life Orb / Coba Berry / Focus Sash
ability: Chlorophyll
nature: Modest / Timid (Timid is valid to outpace Regeieleki, especially on LO sets)
evs: 156 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 92 Spe ( I don't think venu should really have this as its EV spread. I know bulk is good but for the purpose of the analysis I think just going max max makes more sense. ie it makes for incorporating a Timid nature which is perfectly valid simpler. And there are benefits to running more speed, ie outspeeding minus one Thundurus relevant given Regieleki and Scary Face Grimmsnarl if Thundy airstreamed before hand. Its also relevant for when Venusaur takes Electroweb as with the spread it currently has once it does it will be slower than Zapdos, Palkia, and Yveltal, while maximum speed wouldn't.)
in-battle alt: Gmax

[SET COMMENTS]

* Leaf Storm OHKOes Pokemon such as Groudon and Gastrodon and heavily dents Kyogre. When Dynamaxed it becomes G-Max Vine Lash which puts even bigger pressure with its residual damage, able to finish off opponents that are weakened or that have used their Focus Sash. Frenzy Plant provides a stronger G-Max Vine Lash with the downside of being less reliable flexible(less reliable in some sense yes, but this makes more sense considering both are the same accuracy) outside of Dynamax.

* Weather Ball is used in conjunction with Groudon or Torkoal's Drought which becomes a powerful coverage move against opposing Steel-types. It turns into Max Flare under Dynamax, allowing Venusaur to OHKO Zacian-C with Life Orb and hit opposing Venusaur extremely hard. Sludge Bomb hits Rillaboom(Grimmsnarl is a better example, its more relevant and its not already weak to Max Flare) and boosts Venusaur's Special Attack under Dynamax via Max Ooze.
(Change these according to the new slashes.)
* Earth Power is used to consistently hit Incineroar and Zacian-C super effectively without relying on Weather Ball especially on Sludge Bomb sets. It turns into Max Quake under Dynamax and boosts Venusaur's and its allies' Special Defense letting it better take on strong special attackers such as Dialga and PalkiaCalyrex-S.(Caly is not exactly the type of Pokemon that venu wants to tackle to start with, unless venu is sash.)

* Sleep Powder is used to nullify threats and threatens to waste opposing Dynamaxes. (Not sure about waste dynamaxes for the same reasons as I said in the overview. If you wanted to expand on this you could say it lets venu potentially take the upper hand in bad MUs or how its especially good with venu's speed.) This is particularly potent thanks to the lack of Grass-types outside of Amoonguss and Rillaboom(There are Goggles and Lum Berry users too.)

* The given Speed investment allows Venusaur to outspeed Calyrex-S in sun. The rest is poured into Special Attack with a Modest Nature to maximise Venusaur's damage output and its bulk.

* With Life Orb, Venusaur can severely dent opposing teams with G-Max Vine Lash.(Its coverage options also become better, ie OHKOing Zacian-C with Max Flare in sun or 2HKOing AV incin with quake)Coba Berry serves to protect Venusaur from the metagame's various Max Airstream users such as Landorus-T and Yveltal. Focus Sash allows Venusaur a one-time guaranteed survival letting it support teammates such as Groudon and Charizard when it doesn't want to Dynamax with Sleep Powder.(If you're using Sleep Powder you're indeed not Dynamaxing.)

[OTHER OPTIONS]

Grass Knot can be run to dent Restricted Pokemon such as Kyogre and Groudon as they are heavy, however, it fails on Dynamax Pokemon. Solar Beam has exceptional power and no drawback but it is unreliable as one has to manage the weather very proactively and as such, Solar Beam is usually skipped. Helping Hand allows Venusaur to boost an ally's damage output before it gets Faked Out as Helping Hand has a higher priority. However, this is the opposite of what Venusaur wants to be doing as it is a strong Gigantamax option.(Replace this with Weakness Policy and explain how policy should be run with a bulky EV spread and screens support. Also I removed Grass Knot, being walled by Dynamaxed Kyogre and Groudon seems pretty ungood ) Protect can also be run to stall Fake Out and opposing Dynamax turns but 3 offensive moves in combination with Sleep Powder is are generally more useful.

However, Groudon and Venusaur share common weaknesses to Pokemon such as Kyurem-W and Calyrex-I so partners such as Zacian-C is are of help to mitigate the havoc wreaked by these threats.(Mitigate havoc seems weird to me, just saying its a good check to those I think would suffice.)

Modest is fine since sun teams often don't need to outspeed Regieleki and Timid allows teams that option.)

* With Life Orb, Venusaur can severely dent opposing teams with G-Max Vine Lash. The boost also allows it to OHKO Zacian-C with Max Flare and 2HKO Assault Vest Incineroar with Max Quake. And Idt they're great comparisons LO is more general damage output and policy is good at punishing its checks in screens.) However, not being able to outspeed Regieleki means that it can get hit with Electroweb which could potentially allow Regieleki's allies to outspeed and heavily dent Venusaur giving it little more than a turn to deal big damage.(This applies to a Modest nature too which has been put back and idt we really need a downside here, policy seems good but specific.) Protect can also be run to stall Fake Out and opposing Dynamax turns but 3 offensive moves in combination with Sleep Powder are generally more useful.
