Hey there!

I made my first OU Team, my main Pokemon is Charizard-X, a also tested it on Showdown so far.

Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance

Classic Charizard-X Set, my physical sweeper. I chose him because he's my favourite Mega and it's really hard tp predict if he is X or Y. Flare Blitz and Dragon Claw are powerful STABs, Earthquake for coverage and Dragon Dance to boost.

Espeon @ Light Clay
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Baton Pass
- Dazzling Gleam
- Light Screen
- Reflect

My lead, should set up Screens to give Charizard time to set up, also bounces status problems away, especially Stealth Rocks. Can be really useful if you predict Toxic etc. and switch Espeon in. Dazzling Gleam to make a little damage and Baton Pass to scout if the enemy switches.

Latias @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dragon Pulse
- Psyshock
- Ice Beam
- Roost

Bulky special sweeper, Psyshock against specially defensive Pokemon like Chansey, Ice Beam against Landorus and Gliscor, Roost for regeneration. I really like the combination of making massive damage with 110 base SpAtk but also having staying power caused by 130 SpDef and Roost.

Empoleon @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Scald
- Roar
- Stealth Rock
- Flash Cannon

Empoleon is my special wall, which should set up Stealth Rocks and Roar booster away. Scald is nice for burning physical sweeper. I chose him because i wanted to use him as a defogger, but sadly there is no way to get it in ORAS, so i gave him Flash Cannon. Maybe Tentacruel could be an option, but than I don't have Stealth Rocks.

Zapdos @ Leftovers/Rocky Helmet
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Heat Wave
- Toxic
- Roost

Physicaly defensive staller, Toxic and Roost is a good combination, Heat Wave against things like Ferrothorn, Thunderbolt is STAB. I'm not sure if I should use Leftovers or Rocky Helmet on this set..

Terrakion @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- X-Scissor

Extremely fast scarfed revenger with 4 powerful moves, chose him because i was looking for a fast physical sweeper with access to a strong fighting-type move and a rock-type move, so Terrakion is perfect. He can also be switched in Knock Off. Before i catched him I used Mamoswine.

As I said, it's my very first team and sorry for my English, haha.

I have a few suggestions about your team. First of all, even though you have 3 pokemon that can learn defog, none of them have it, and espeon really isn't bulky enough to stay alive long enough to reflect the hazards. I would recommend placing defog on empoleon, instead of flash cannon. Also, because you won't be running defog on latias, I would replace it with Latios, running draco meteor, psyshock, earthquake, and roost. Next, espeon is just generally bad as a lead and I would recommend running azelf, which also gives you a stealth rock lead with screens. Other than that, the rest of the team is fine.

The problem is, there is no way to get Defog on any of these pokemon in ORAS or XY. I think Latios would be nice, but maybe Icebeam instead of Earthquake? What would you recommend as Azelf's 4th move?

OK, first for azelf. You have a few choices here, mostly depending on your personal preference. You could go with knock off to have a weaker move, but leave a lasting effect besides the screens and hazards. You could also use fire blast for a more powerful attacking move, which can hit the steel types who like to wall/kill azelf. The last move that is generally viable is explosion. You could run that to nuke something once you are down to your sash. The fact that you can't get defog on those pokes isn't grounds for denying a suggestion as these rates are for pokemon showdown, not ingame, so people can suggest stuff like softboiled clefable, a Gen 3 event pokemon. Also for latios, ice beam doesn't really hit anything you would want to have super-effective coverage for. Ice hits grass, flying, ground, and dragon. For grass, draco meteor hits stuff like celebi and psyshock takes down venusaur, amoonguss, and breloom. Flying types as a whole arae not very bulky so draco usually scores an OHKO. Ground types would be the one place where ice beam is useful, but most ground types don't like latios and won't stay in due to levitate. Earthquake is better as it lures in bisharp and heatran, 2 of latios' best counters/checks, and absolutely destroys them. Hope I helped.

Hi there, unfortunately your descriptions for each Pokemon are not up to the standard as required by the RMT rules. You need to provide an in-depth description of each Pokemon to explain your choices and their roles. Please read the rules carefully and take a look at other RMTs and the RMT archive to see the kind of detail and format we require before posting a thread here. If you're new to this I'd also encourage you to join the Mentor Program.
