very offensive choiced team peaked #20th

Pokemon in lower tiers usually have large flaws or bad stats and it is usually easier to overwhelm a good defensive core in NU or RU than in OU. I made this team because i wanted to see if 5 choiced heavy hitters and a bulky lead can conquer the world of NU.

The Team:

Electabuzz @ Choice Specs
Trait: Vital Spirit
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Grass]

A very fast poke and a heavy hitter i love its speed tier out speeds what it needs to and volt switch helps my team a lot with momentum, i have it in the lead spot to attract the ground types of my opponents especially golem which means i can lead with piloswine and get rocks asap. Vital spirit is a great ability that saves me from sleep inducers because on this team if a poke is asleep its worse than useless. i usually use volt switch most of the time and tbolt is for the times i d not want to switch out hidden power grass is for the ground types and focus blast rounds out coverage and helps with audino

Dodrio (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Tangled Feet
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Return
- Quick Attack
- Thrash

Boy do i love dodrio fast and hits hard like most of my team Brave Bird is great stab and 2hit-kos most of the tier return is solid stab for when i dont want to get locked in to to trash which also gives you a 50% evasion boost after 2 turns due to confusion and quick attack is to pick off weaken foes i cant outspeed like shell smash sweepers, swift swim pokes or scarfers. it seems moot to have 3 normal attacks but they are all situational stabs for when i am not using brave bird.

Musharna @ Choice Specs
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Baton Pass

Boy do i love this thing (like i love every poke apparently). bulky and hits like a truck, everybody and i mean everybody uses calm mind musharna with moonlight nothing excepts a specs psychic to blast them away immediately. psychic is stab, shadow ball is to help with other musharnas and hidden power fighting helps with all the dark types that always switch in. baton pass is for skuntank which cant be koed at full health by a hidden power fighting. they always switch in expecting the calm mind so a baton pass and a switch into sawk gives me some momentum as must skunktanks are mono type attackers.

Scolipede @ Choice Band
Trait: Quick Feet
EVs: 252 Spd / 4 HP / 252 Atk
Jolly Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SAtk
- Megahorn
- Poison Jab
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake

Sooo fast. so so fast. banded megahorns for days basically scolipede > musharna. usually the fastest pokemon on the field its here for speedy semi truck like hits and to stop musharna.

piloswine.jpg

Piloswine (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 156 Atk / 252 HP / 100 Def
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Icicle Spear
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
Helps get up rocks which are important. ice shard helps revenge and icicle spear is a great great move. helps break subs and is fairly powerful after 3 hits or more.earthquake is just good stab. this piloswine is fairly bulky and rarely gets 1hit except by super effective special moves.

sawk_by_pimmy-d3cpou6.jpg

Sawk (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch

choice band close combat is amazing the 6th gen is the gen of fighting types and having one on an offensive team is almost a necessity at this point in the metagame. sturdy is a great ability helps me live hits by stat up sweepers if it comes to that. always always and i mean always lures in musharna so it has great synergy with scolipede as i can always double switch.

Thats basically the team which is by no means perfect took like 4 minutes to make the team so any help is appreciated. thanks for your time.

My jynx set of choiced scarf, trick, ice beam, psychic and lovely kiss can decimate this team all by itself barring a quick attack and rocks. Though having 2 forms of priority are a must in my opinion, I would suggest changing choice band Dodrio for choice scarfed Tauros (either ability will do). Tauros is going to be your fastest noramlly scarfed minus zebstrika and can do hefty damage against normally scarfed pokemon such as primeape, jynx and rotom-a. If you like the priority, dodrio can function well enough to pull it off.

That jynx set works extremely well, so I would offer that in place of musharna, but i figure you wanted a bulkier poke. Tricking or kissing a bulky set up or defensive poke your team is having trouble with is a great trait to have, and it's a great way to utilize junx (unless it misses lovely kiss twice, which happens more than I would like).

Also, I would find a way to put aqua tail and possibly spikes on your scolipede. Water type move will be able to hit ground and rock types, so replace poison jab with aqua tail. Spikes can also be used over earthquake, as it will be easier to place heavy pressure with your other pokes, but you are obviously locked into a non attacking move.

So suggested changes
Banded Dodrio --> scarfed tauros (intimidate is my preference)
poison jab --> aqua tail
Sawk Jolly--> adament
Optional
Specs musharna --> scarfed jynx
earthquake-->spikes

Another thing I did not notice, your sawk is sturdy, which is good if you can prevent hazards off the field. If that is harder to do, mold breaker sawk is arguebly one of the best leads in the tier, as it can break through other S.R. sturdy users such as Golem, Bastiodon and Gigaleth.
