Hey all, we're changing the format again. Yeah ik ik but hopefully this one will stick! I wrote up more for the explanations here than previous ones because its quite a big departure. DM us if u need help w/ it, we'll be checking a bit more than usual with qcs and stuff.

[SET]
Name (either the item or role of the Pokemon ie. Bulky Set Up Sweeper, Glass Cannon, etc.) (Pokemon) @ Item 1 / Item 2 / etc. (If applicable)
Ability: Ability
Level: 50
Tera Type: Type 1 / Type 2 / etc. (If applicable)
EVs: Stats
Nature
IVs: IVs
- Move 1
- Move 2
- Move 3
- Move 4

[SET COMMENTS]
- Overview: Briefly describe the purpose of the set, its main role, and notable attributes (ability, typing, stats, key moves, etc.).
- Key Moves: Mention specific moves that are essential for the set and explain their function. For example, explain when niche moves or Tera types are used.
- Item Differences: Compare slashed items, such as why you might prefer Leftovers over Rocky Helmet, or Metal Coat over Life Orb. Focus on what the differences offer in different matchups.
- Tera Type Considerations: If Tera types are slashed, explain the rationale behind choosing one over the other in certain situations.
- EV Spread: Explain the reasoning behind the EV spread, highlighting key survival benchmarks (e.g., surviving key hits, outspeeding certain threats) and how they enable the Pokémon’s function. Include key speed tiers, relevant damage calcs, and important interactions with other metagame threats.
- Add Pros and Cons compared to other sets if possible, like is it more flexible, less bulky, more RNG reliant, worse matchup into X, etc etc. It is formatted the same as the above bullet points.

(Do the same thing again if there are multiple sets)

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Teambuilding
============
- Synergy: Broadly, describe what types of Pokémon, moves, or strategies work best with this set. If the set is offensive, what teammates can support it by providing speed control, redirection, or wallbreaking support? Are there any type synergies this Pokemon likes, or playstyles. If theres more than 2 sets, generally put specific partners in the set comments section, but you can also put it here but specify (Ex. For Choice Banded Dragonite its good on ___ teams, while Assault Vest sets are better with ___)
- Specific Partners: List specific Pokémon or archetypes that synergize well with this Pokémon, covering weaknesses or helping it accomplish its role more efficiently.
- Weakness Coverage: Identify the main weaknesses of the set and suggest partners that can mitigate these issues, like covering specific matchups or typing weaknesses.

Strategy Comments
============
- Main Role: Explain the Pokémon’s main role (sweeper, support, etc.) and how it achieves its function. Describe the situations where this Pokémon shines and how to get into those positions.
- Playstyle: Offer advice on how to use the Pokémon throughout the battle, such as whether it’s better early or late game, and how to adjust play style depending on matchups. Explain the differences in playstyle between sets if applicable.
- Counters & Checks: List the major threats or counters and suggest some ways to handle or mitigate these threats. Either its literal Pokemon counters, or playstyle stuff like switching out, using other team members to handle them, or waiting until the counter has been weakened.

Hey should have specified, all the bullet point headers like Overview: and Synergies: should be removed! They're just broad guidelines for the bullet points, dont include them.

We will be using a new format for Regulation I! The format and an example of it in use can be found below.

All of the below should be done with bullet points.

The below is an example of the format based on LovelyLuna 's Regulation G Amoonguss analysis. Thank you to a blue banana for GPing it!
Set Details
=======
- Amoonguss is a top-notch support Pokemon thanks to Regenerator, a great toolkit, and Spore, allowing it to shut down threats such as Raging Bolt, Urshifu-R, and Zamaenta-C.
- Amoonguss uses Pollen Puff to heal its teammates throughout the game, while Sludge Bomb can be used over Pollen Puff or Protect to 2HKO the Ogerpon formes that redirect Spore.
- Amoonguss uses Rocky Helmet to heavily chip down Urshifu-R and break Focus Sash on Mienshao, Chien-Pao, and Urshifu-S. Amoonguss can opt for Covert Cloak for a Fake Out immunity, while Mental Herb can be used to protect against Taunt from Tornadus and Incineroar. Sitrus Berry can be used for burst healing.
- The EV spread with a Bold nature allows Amoonguss to survive Adamant Chien-Pao's Icicle Crash and avoid a 2HKO from Flutter Mane with Sitrus Berry.
- A Calm nature can be opted for to allow Amoonguss to survive two Astral Barrages from Calyrex-S and Chien-Pao's Ice Spinner.
- 27 Speed IVs are used to make Amoonguss slower than Calyrex-I to put it to sleep with Spore before it can move in Trick Room.
- Amoonguss usually prefers Tera Fairy to check Miraidon and have a neutral matchup against most of the metagame, while Tera Water allows Amoonguss to answer Koraidon and Calyrex-I and take on duos such as Chien-Pao and Urshifu-R. Tera Dark can be used to resist Calyrex-S's Astral Barrage and gain an immunity to Prankster Taunt and Encore from Tornadus and Whimsicott, respectively.

Teambuilding
=========
- Amoonguss struggles against Grass-types and Safety Goggles Pokemon that ignore Spore and Rage Poweder such as Rillaboom, the Ogerpon formes, Safety Goggles Incineroar, and Tera Grass Calyrex-I. This makes Incineroar a great partner because it threatens the Grass-types and removes Safety Goggles from the opposing team.
- Pelipper also helps Amoonguss by protecting it from Fire-type moves with Drizzle and Calyrex-I's Glacial Lance with Wide Guard while also threatening Amoonguss's aforementioned checks.
- Amoonguss can effectively redirect attacks for Incineroar and Pelipper from Urshifu-R and Raging Bolt, respectively.
