Brainia was misspelled as Briania in my sub btw. That was a mistake on my part.

Below my votes.
Samtendo09's Keisberg. I think this sub has a lot of competitive potential. Ice/Steel with a Fighting and Fire immunity is quite sth., effectively making it only weak to Ground. Coupled with its great bulk, this Pokémon is bound to stick relatively long on the field. I like how it can pair its ability with Avalanche. I could see Metal Burst being added for more synergy. Though, I will say I find the addition of Follow Me on such a strong and bulky Pokémon concerning, to say the least. Your only answer against it is Ground, which is naturally weak to Ice and susceptible to Intimidate as most Ground Pokémon are physical. If this Pokémon had more weaknesses or sth to balance out its potential role as a redirector, it wouldn't be much of a problem. But right now, I do not think adding Follow Me is a good idea at all, especially when the developers have always been very careful about its distribution in VGC formats.

PalpitoadChamp's Briania.

I feel weird about voting for my own moves. So, I will abstain from them.
- Passive Aggressive: Yes. Interesting move. I imagine if you try to heal your own Pokémon with Heal Pulse, the target would be hurt? What happens if a Pokémon on user's side sets Tailwind or Trick Room? Who would be hurt?
- Swarming Strike: Yes. The maindraw is breaking Focus Sash / Sturdy. That said, it would mean we need Bug Pokémon that cover their weaknesses well enough when paired together.
- Contrarian: No. I think the effect is too strong, especially since you replace everyone's ability. If it was more limited, I'd be more open to the idea.
- Extinguish: No. Too strong of an effect.
- Antagonize: No.
- Attack Mode: No.
- Primal Fury: No.
- Air Cannon: Yes. I'd vote yes if it was 100% Spe drop, like Hammer Arm, because there has never been a potentially viable slow Flying Pokémon for Trick Room.
- Cable Thrash: No.
- Dimensional Hole: No.

Now that you told me, I would agree on removing Follow Me and replace it with Metal Burst for better synergy with the Ability Eternal Ice.

It’s a Fan Evolution that I’m really proud of conceptualize, given that it’s pretty difficult to design a slow, bulky Ice-type without relying on making it a stat stick.

Just to let you know that Keisberg’s Speed is erronously entered as 75 while it should be 25 in the spreadsheet.

Good thing BlueRay noted about not giving Follow Me to this submission of mine (and give Metal Burst instead), gvien that I didn’t remembered that Follow Me is that impactful in VGC.

Fixed.

And Slate 8 is here folks! Here are the categories:

1: Flying-type
We have only created one new Flying type so far, and the only returning ones are Gyarados and Flamigo. No BST limit (within reason), whatever other type (if any) you give it is up to you.

2: Evolution
An evolution of a previously poor Pokemon. We've seen Annihilape and Farigaraf give new life, let's do the same again here!

3. New abilities
No signature abilities, so nothing too insane please. No BST limit.

Discussion Topic
Are there any moves you think could be improved, and how? 5 suggestions tops.

Look forward to seeing your work. Voting begins on Friday the 22nd of November.

New Move:
- Windfall (Flying, Physical, 95 BP, 5 PP, 95% acc, contact, effect: Sets Tailwind if a Pokémon on user's side fainted last turn.)

Physical MovesSpecial MovesStatus Moves
WindfallParting Shot

Description:
1) Concept
- Hawlucha is based on "lucha libre", which refers to freestyle wrestling from Mexico. People participating in this kind of battle usually wear a special mask to represent an ancient hero, a famous fighter, an animal, a god, or any mystical figure. The longer a fighter wears a mask without getting demasked by their opponent, the higher their prestige and skills.
- Against this background, "Masquerade" is a good opportunity to reflect these aspects, especially when Hawlucha is depicted as a very proud Pokémon in the anime and according to the Pokédex. Once the user gets hit, it is demasked, similar to how Mimikyu has its disguise broken. Thus, the user looses the ability that it copied. But don't worry, you can reset it if you switch out!
- That said, some of you may wonder why Luchapex--Hawlucha's final evolution and the king of wrestling--copies an ability from one of its teammates. It's because there's already a move called "Role Play", which copies the ability of a target. Thus, there is a connection between identity and ability. Moreover, wearing a mask to represent someone famous in a "lucha libre" is a change of an individual's identity.
- As for the name of the ability, I went for "Masquerade" to allude to
a) an event in which you are allowed to hide your true identity--in this case, it would be the "lucha libre"
b) a custome, which usually includes a mask and can act as form of defensive strategy to overcome fears.

2) Competitive
- Masquerade turns Luchapex into a diverse, offensive utility Pokémon. Most likely, you will pair this ability with a weather or terrain setting ability to support the team. Fighting/Flying resists and pressures many of the types an ally may not want to deal with. For instance, Snow teams hate facing Rock, Fighting, and Steel Pokémon but that's not much of an issue for Luchapex. What about Sand? If you have a Ground-type Sand Force or Sand Rush user, it can spam Earthquake to its heart content as Luchapex is naturally immune to Ground moves.
- Since Fighting/Flying covers a wide range of threats, Luchapex is free to run support moves to enable the team and synergizes well with many allies.
- Luchapex's biggest advantage is that in a Best of 3, the player can select their Pokémon in such a way to adapt to an opponent's strategy because Luchapex could inherit almost any ability! Thus, it encourages good teambuilding and piloting skills. This becomes especially notable when, during a match, you shuffle the team order through switches to gain a tactical advantage with an Ability you want Luchapex to inherit. Really, sky's the limit. Imagine what combos you could pull off: Intimidate, Defiant, Contrary, Volt Absorb, Multiscale, Regenerator, etc.
- That said, Luchapex is balanced by the fact that Masquerade announces which Ability the user inherits from which Pokémon and that this Ability effect is not permanent unless the user can avoid taking a damaging move. So, the user will likely have to switch out to reset the ability. Moreover, there are some abilities Luchapex can't inherit. Here's the list: 'noability', 'desertmirage', 'flowergift', 'forecast', 'hugepower', 'hungerswitch', 'illusion', 'imposter', 'neutralizinggas', 'powerofalchemy', 'purepower', 'receiver', 'sharedmindset', 'trace', 'wonderguard'.
- Fwiw, the ability is already coded. Should this sub win, let me know, and I can guide you to the code. Same with Electro Ball's buff.

Name: Lediastra

Ability: Speed Boost

Type: Bug / Electric

Stats:

HP: 75

Speed: 100
BST: 505

Height: 1.9 m
Weight: 41.0 kg
Gender Ratio: 50.0% male, 50.0% female

New Move:
- Five Star Punch (Electric, Physical, 30 BP, 10 PP, 90% acc, +1 crit ratio, contact, fist, effect: Hits 5 times, with each move having a chance to miss. If miss, moves stop.)

Physical MovesSpecial MovesStatus Moves
Beat Up, Five Star PunchCharge Beam, Electro Ball, Electroweb, Rising Voltage, Volt SwitchCosmic Power, Eerie Impulse, Electric Terrain, Recalibration, Thunder Wave

Description:
1) Concept
- Lediastra, like its pre-evolutions, is connected to stars design wise. It gained an Electric-type, making it easier to provide light even in the darkness or in space. In real life, ladybugs can sense an electric field. So, this further underlines Lediastra's dualtype as it can use this to find and store electricity.

2) Competitive
- I noticed we don't really have a proper screen setter, A-Ninetales aside. Lediastra fills that role perfectly while also being able to provide lots of utility between Struggle Bug, Electroweb, String Shot, Tailwind, Baton Pass, Helping Hand, etc.
- Since Lediastra is decently bulky, it can accumulate boosts with Speed Boost and a set-up move like Swords Dance, Barrier or Cosmic Power to then pass them onto a team member. Fwiw, Speed Boost perfectly synergizes with Electro Ball; in the lategame, Lediastra could do reasonably good damage, slightly outdamaging Thunderbolt from the likes of Raging Bolt!
- Alternatively, you can run an offensive set with Iron Fist and Five Star Punch, which is as strong as Gigaton Hammer from Tinkaton. Fwiw, you have a 48.31% chance to land, at least, one critical hit if you manage to get all hits. As the Ledyba line has a luck theme, I would like Lucky Punch (Chansey's item) to affect Lediastra as well, if possible.
- That said, Lediastra should be well balanced; it has a rather low physical bulk and a moderate damage output. So, even with its great support potential, it is reliant on its ally to exert offensive pressure and make progress.

Name: Kagunawa

Description:
1) Concept
- Kagunawa is based on a mythical dragon bakunawa from the Philippines. It's said to bring chaos and devour the moon. The name Kagunawa is composed of disorder and snake.
- As for Ancient Core, it's meant to allude to Kagunawa's ancient nature. This is further underlined by the ability's effect, which is basically nostalgia as we no longer have a physical and special split system based on typing.

2) Competitive
- In case someone didn't understand how the ability works, here's an explanation. Moves like Foul Play or Sucker Punch have the category "physical" while moves like Hurricane have the category "special". However, with Ancient Core, all Dark moves are considered "special" as the Dark type used to have the move category "special" between gen 2 and 3. You can apply this logic to any type; some are "special", others are "physical". In the case of Foul Play, it gets an additional 20% power boost since its new "special" category doesn't match its original "physical" designation.
- On average, physical moves are a lot more diverse and have a higher damage output than special moves. With Ancient Core, Kagunawa can now take advantage of that! For instance, Foul Play becomes deadly against special attackers while Punishment can easily pressure Iron Defense + Body Press users. There's also Sucker Punch, which is a relatively unique priority move for the user since there are rarely any special priority moves.
- I imagine Kagunawa will likely function a lot like a tamer version of Raging Bolt. It can function in and outside of Trick Room; it offers a neat mix of great power and sufficient bulk, making it more splashable on a team. Poison and Fighting Pokémon will likely appreciate its defensive and offensive profile. What's more, as Kagunawa has sufficient Spe, it can resort to Loaded Dice Scale Shot to increase its Spe while also exerting a lot of offensive pressure; Kagunawa basically deals 120 base damage at minimum and 150 at maximum.
- While Kagunawa may look scary, it is hard walled by Fairy Pokémon. Besides Sucker Punch is prediction reliant, and Scale Shot lowers its Def. This metagame also has a ridiculous amount of Fighting Pokémon to keep it well in check. That said, I'm not sure if I want to add Nasty Plot. Let me know if you want it and think it would be fine on it.

3) Potential Ability Distribution
- Since we are supposed to create a new ability and ensure it's not a signature ability, I figured I could list some Pokémon that could get this ability:
:sv/Gyarados: Now, it uses its Water type defensively and can resort to a powerful Flying STAB move in Hurricane. You could add the new Air Cannon move to make it less reliant on Rain.
:sm/toucannon: If we ever include it in this mod, it could take advantage of Boomburst and Air Cannon. Base 60 Spe is enough for Trick Room or Tailwind teams.
:sv/dugtrio-alola: If it ever gets included, it would have buffed Earth Power and Flash Cannon and a nuke option in Steel Beam. Could also have Make it Rain for flavour due to the gold rush parallel, especially in TCG.
:sv/dragapult: This is another potential candidate since it would gain access to a good physical Ghost move at the cost of using the Dragon type mostly defensively or as part of a mixed set.

- Submission: 150 BP and 50% recoil damage. Fighting and Rock have some interesting overlap: Cross Chop - Stone Edge. Now, you can have Submission - Head Smash. With 80% accuracy, Submission is a "high risk - high reward" move.
- Triple Kick: Make it as strong as Triple Axel and distribute it to more Pokémon.
- Electro Ball: New damage calculation as follows: 1 >= 60 BP, 1.5 >= 80 BP, 2 >= 100, 3 >= 120, 4 >= 150. If you have some trouble understanding this, here's a short explanation.
1 >= 60 BP means that if user is as fast as or slower than the target, the move has 60 BP. As the number goes up, you need to be faster by 50% every time to get more damage output. Fwiw, Electro Ball and Gyro Ball are not equal, whichs is why we start with an initially higher damage output as the original version starts with 40 BP. I should note Electro Ball was made in gen 4 when Thunder Wave could lower your Spe by 75%. Since Thunder Wave is nerfed, we need to change the damage formula to make the move more appealing!
- Blast Burn / Frenzy Plant / Hydro Cannon: Keep recharge effect but make it physical if user's Atk > SpA, else special.
- Wild Charge: 100 BP. This is a very modest buff since, unlike Flare Blitz, the move sees widespread distribution outside of STAB.

Name: Pyragriff (Pyro + Griffon)
Type: ==
Stats: 87/90/70/90/82/100 (519)
Abilities: Solar Power / Intimidate / Steadfast
Weight: 46.4 lbs.
Movepool: Peck, Leer, Ember, Quick Attack, Wing Attack, Mighty Blow, Air Cannon, Burn Up, Whirlwind, Circle Throw, Dragon Rush, Pounce, Lunge, Foul Play, Knock Off, Throat Chop, Lash Out, Fire Spin, Flame Charge, Sunny Day, Will-O-Wisp, Heat Wave, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Overheat, Flare Blitz, Heat Crash, Burning Jealousy, Temper Flare, Outrage, Dragon Cheer, Dragon Tail, Bulk Up, Acrobatics, Aerial Ace, Air Cutter, Air Slash, Fly, Tailwind, Hurricane, Brave Bird, Dual Wingbeat, Feather Dance, Curse, Take Down, Protect, Facade, Endure, Body Slam, Sleep Talk, Substitute, Swords Dance, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Tera Blast, Roar, Double Edge, Endeavor, Agility, Rest, Calm Mind, Amnesia
Role: Balanced Sun Team Smasher. Set up the sun and watch the enemies fly high for the skies! Even without sun, this Pokémon can control the battlefield with access to Whirlwind, Dragon Tail, and Circle Throw. Compared to Talonflame, Pyragriff has better offenses, but is slightly slower.
Flavor:
This griffon Pokémon is common on castle rooftops, watching above everyone as if it was as still as a statue. The instant it sees something that is a threat to it's kingdom, it lunges down and consumes them in a sea of undying flames!
KUx30pd.png

Name: Vymsid (Vomit + Inside)
Type: ==
Evolution:
Interact with a special coral wall known as the Organ Wall with Pyukumuku at the front of your party, and you'll be asked if you wish to throw it at the wall. This will damage it for 50% of it's health: If it is still alive after that, Pyukumuku will evolve instantly!
Ability: Innards Out / Unnerve
Base stats: 105/30/150/30/150/75 (540)
Weight: 12.4 lbs.
Useful Moves: (Besides from Pyukumuku's original movepool)

Physical: None!
Special: None!
Status: Toxic Spikes, Aqua Ring, Torment
Competitive use: Pyukumuku is intended to be a status-based gimmick Pokémon, but it's pathetic speed is what kills it in the long run. But in VGC20XX, being thrown against a special wall made from a unique kind of coral causes the coral to fuse with Pyukumuku's body to evolve it into Vymsid, which now has six extra mouths to finally give it the mobility it needs. It's primary role is a Defensive Supporter, curing allies of their status conditions with Purify, badly poisoning enemies with Toxic, and ruining status based strategies with Torment. Compared to Pholcules, Vymsid has greater defences, but lacks offensive coverage and abilities.

Name: Oorbula (Oort + Nebula)
Type: ==
Stats: 31/43/75/110/139/43 (441)
Abilities: Astral Veil / Levitate
Weight: 0.1 kg.
Movepool: Confusion, Shadow Sneak, Torment, Cosmic Power, Healing Wish, Passive Aggressive, Brainage, Snarl, Foul Play, Dark Pulse, Knock Off, Dazzling Gleam, Misty Terrain, Confuse Ray, Hex, Night Shade, Shadow Ball, Phantom Force, Spite, Poltergeist, Curse, Take Down, Protect, Facade, Endure, Body Slam, Sleep Talk, Substitute, Encore, Helping Hand, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Tera Blast, Weather Ball, Pain Split, Psych Up, Psybeam, Psyshock, Reflect, Light Screen, Rest, Imprison, Skill Swap, Trick, Psychic, Amnesia, Psychic Terrain, Trick Room, Gravity, Future Sight, Expanding Force, Psychic Noise, Rain Dance
Role: Support. This Pokémon's special ability makes it's ally have no weaknesses, but also no STABs as well. It can be used to force enemies to draw their attention from your ally to it, giving your ally plenty of time to boost unnoticed!
Flavor:
This strange nebula Pokémon appears before children who have been through everything, asking if they want to make a wish. If they accept, Oorbula uses it's otherwordly powers to turn the child into a star, never to be seen again on the planet. Apparently, it originated from the region of space surrounding the solar system.
Custom Elements: Astral Veil: While this Pokémon is in battle, it's ally's typing becomes Stellar. It's ally's typing returns to normal once Oorbula leaves the battle.

Flying
As Gyarados and Flamigo are physical oriented Flying-type Pokémon, Skyrval aim to have mixed attackig stats while having a higher base Speed than the other two Pokémon. This allows Skyrval to be special oriented thanks to No Guard if the player desires for a Special Attacking Flying-type Pokémon.
Name: Skyrval (Sky + Serval)
Type:
Flying / Fire
Abilities: No Guard / Cute Charm | Dazzling
Base stats: 65 HP / 106 Atk / 63 Def / 106 SpA / 63 SpD / 108 Speed | 511 BST
Useful moves:
Physical
: Fake Out, U-Turn, Flare Blitz, Bounce, Fly, Crunch, Blaze Kick, Jump Kick, Zen Headbutt, Iron Tail, Iron Head, Supercell Slam, Low Kick
Special: Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Hurricane, Air Slash, Scorching Sands, Snarl, Surf, Vacuum Wave, Aura Sphere, Focus Blast, Air Cannon, Dazzling Gleam
Status: Protect, Tailwind, Will-o-Wisp, Helping Hand, Haze, Defog, Swords Dance, Nasty Plot, Agility, Substitute, Encore, Endure
Weight: 85.3 kg
Gender: Both
Competitive use: Fast pivot, support or No Guard offensive threat with Fake Out, Helping Hand, Haze, Defog, Tailwind and Encore at it’s disposal. No Guard can be used for Iron Tail, Blaze Kick, Bounce / Fly, Zen Headbutt, Jump Kick, Supercell Slam, Fire Blast, Hurricane and Focus Blast. Dazzling can be used to block opposing Fake Outs and other priority moves such as Extreme Speed, Aqua Jet and Mach Punch.
Is it broken?: 65 / 63 / 63 bulk is poor by VGC standard, meaning it will not survive stray super effective moves especially Rock Slide, and does not take kindly to neutral hits either. It also must choose between No Guard and Dazzling, as Dazzling makes Fire Blast and Hurricane less likely to hit, while No Guard leaves it vulnerable against priority moves such as Aqua Jet.
Size: 1.7 meters
Egg group: Field + Fairy
Appearance: Serval cat Pokémon that is colored beige and have red stripes, which flares up when angry.
Evolution
Stonjourner is another Galar Pokémon that got shafted, and unlike Eiscue this is due to it’s inflexibility in VGC environment, modest power in Rock Slide and always wanting to use Focus Sash. Stontank aim to improve upon the concept by having the uncommon Rock / Grass, reducing it’s Speed so it can work for Trick Room, and made it’s Special Defense survivable, if not actually good due to high HP.
Name: Stontank (Stonehenge + Tank)
Type:
Rock / Grass
Abilities: Power Spot
Base stats: 120 HP / 140 Atk / 140 Def / 50 SpA / 70 SpD / 25 Speed | 545 BST
Useful moves:
Physical
: Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Stomping Tantrum, High Horsepower, Rock Blast, Body Press, Heavy Slam, Heat Crash, Low Kick, Superpower, Power Whip, Wood Hammer, Grassy Glide, Bullet Seed
Special: None
Status: Protect, Wide Guard, Stealth Rock, Gravity, Curse, Iron Defense, Substitute, Leech Seed, Synthesis, Imprison, Rest, Sleep Talk, Psych Up, Endure, Yawn
Weight: 732 kg
Gender: Both
Competitive use: Physically bulky with an equally monstrous Attack, Stontank powers up their ally’s attacking moves with Power Spot, Stontank can block spread moves with Wide Guard, use Iron Defense + Body Press to bypass Intimidate, and has a pretty good Rock + Grass STAB coverage that can hit Steel with Low Kick or Superpower for more offensive roles. Best fit in Trick Room teams.
Is it broken?: Using Stontank with a support Pokémon would make Power Spot a deadweight Ability, and while it means the support Pokémon might power up Stontank’s own attacks further, Stontank is unable to give anything back other than knocking out frail opponents. It’s 70 Special Defense, while no where as horrible as Stonjourner’s, is still low enough for two Special Attackers to team it and knock it out, even with Assault Vest in mind. Keep in mind that Stontank’s Special bulk is as bulky as Incineroar, which is good, but not unstoppable. Being a Rock-type physical attacker, it’s Rock-type STAB can miss, and if not using Iron Defense + Body Press combo, it has no way to counteract Intimidate and burn without sacrificing it’s item slot.

Flying-type and Ice-type weakness can also be exploited, as while Stontank can threaten them with Rock-type STAB, it cannot afford to switch into Flying or Ice STAB. Bug-type weakness is also annoying with the U-Turn and buffed Bug-type. Finally, 25 base Speed means it really want to be in a Trick Room team, even with how flexible it is compared to Stonjourner.

Appearance: Assemble of stonehenge-esque rocks that resembles a brontosaur, having moss and vines around it’s body, and splits into multiple parts when needing to sleep.
New Ability
Ghost-type have been a highly spammable STAB type with near irrelevant resistances in VGC, as evidant with Flutter Mane, Spectrier, Shadow Rider Calyrex and, for the non-special ones, Dragapult, Annihilape, Gengar and even Froslass, so without having to make another type resisting Ghost, a new Move that discourage such spam would help deal with this issue. Having a bulky Electric-type would also be a nice bonus, given the success of Iron Hands.

The new Ability also involves decreasing damage from Ghost and Dark, two highly prominent and easily spammable offensive types, with damage reduction less severe compared to Thick Fat, but provide reduction to teammate as well.
Name: Brynstorm (Corruption of the term "brain storm")

Night Light: All Pokémon’s Dark-type and Ghost-type moves are reduced by 33%. (vs. Thick Fat’s 50% to Fire and Ice)

Spirit Away: Psychic, Status, 32 PP, 100% accuracy, +1 priority, for rest of turn any Pokémon attempting to use Ghost-type moves will instead loses 1/4th (25%) of max HP.
Weight: 44.4 kg
Gender: Both
Competitive use: While it's stat spread is typical of most Psychic-type Pokémon at first glance, it have an enormous Special bulk among Psychic-type and Electric-type, allowing it to tank Special moves, especially if equipping Assault Vest. It can also provide support for Speed control through Icy Wind, Tail Wind and Trick Room. Both of it's available Ability provide an use; Spirit Away bounces back Ghost-type moves while Levitate ignores most Ground-type moves and entry hazards. With Spirit Away, Brynstorm is able to resist Gholdengo's Make It Rain while discouraging it from using Shadow Ball.
Is it broken?: Weakness to Dark is always present, which can be a severe problem if the opponent has a physical oriented one with access to Sucker Punch. It's physical bulk in general is below average, meaning a focused attack from both physical attackers from the opponent's side will very likely to knock it out. With Open Team Sheet in mind, it will give away their Ability, thusly their other weakness they are not immune to, notably Ground which is known for hard-hitting physical moves such as Earthquake and High Horsepower.

Move Discussion
Accelerock: I feel like Accelerock is far too generic to remain a signature move of Midday + Dusk Lycanroc, so a lot of the slower Rock-type Pokémon will appreciate it a lot for a priority STAB given Trick Room isn't always available for them. Being one of the few Rock-type moves with 100% accuracy also helps a lot.
Smack Down: 50 BP --> 75 BP. It is less powerful than Stone Edge but more accurate than Rock Slide. Compensate inability of Flinching to drop down a Flying or Levitating target to the ground, allowing one's own Ground-type move or a teammate's High Horsepower to destroy them. Being one of the few Rock-type moves with 100% accuracy also helps a lot.
Explosion: Now deals guaranteed critical hit. This brings Explosion closer to it's original power back in the first generations, nowhere as much as 510 but can now ignore Defense boost.
Iron Tail: BP increased to 130 and Accuracy increased to 85%. Steel-type Pokémon have to rely on Iron Head as their sole useful STAB, but with buffed Iron Tail, it is now a STAB that risk missing, but it hurts when it hits neutrally. The reason I put 130 BP instead of 120 is due to Steel's poor offensive match-up in the type chart.
Meditate: Increase Attack, Special Defense and Speed by one stage each; the Mankey line no longer learn this move. A variant of Victory Dance that is rarer than Quiver Dance, but barring the Mankey line (given that the move doesn't really fit them in the long run), the learners aren't strictly viable within VGC. This also give Electivire finally a boosting move to make good use of it's Attack and Speed, while being able to tank Special moves.

Type:

Evolution
Stonjourner is another Galar Pokémon that got shafted, and unlike Eiscue, it cannot even take advantage of it’s Ability due go it’s abysmal Special Defense, awkward Speed tier and it’s Attack and Defense done better by similar Rock-type Pokémon. Stontank aim to improve upon the concept by having the uncommon Rock / Grass, reducing it’s Speed so it can work for Trick Room, and made it’s Special Defense a bit less flimsy.
Name: Stontank (Stonehenge + Tank)
Type:
Rock / Grass

It’s 70 Special Defense, while no where as horrible as Stonjourner’s, is still flimsy enough for two Special Attackers to team it and knock it out, even with Assault Vest in mind. Being a Rock-type physical attacker, it’s Rock-type ATAB can miss, and if not using Iron Defense + Body Press combo, it has no way to counteract Intimidate and burn without sacrificing it’s item slot.

Hey! I just saw you added some new stuff.

Regarding Stonjourner, its biggest problem is that it's a rather inflexible Pokémon, providing not much utility on its own. For instance, it doesn't have speed control options like Trick Room. Therefore, a player will likely run Stonjourner in a very specific situation where it could make some good progress. But with Power Spot, you want a Pokémon that can be used in most scenarios as it supports all attackers. Chien-Pao works because it is fast and strong, hitting a wide range of Pokémon. Chi-Yu is even more powerful at the cost of having less speed but it does offensively synergize with other "good" types, like Fairy. And as for Ting-Lu, it is absurdly bulky to make up for its shortcomings. Stonjourner doesn't really have anything where it's really good at. Having a unique and good ability isn't always enough when it has serious flaws. That's why Stonjourner struggles, I'd argue.

So, I think adding a secondary Grass type while also improving its bulk is a good start to make your sub a Pokémon that could function sufficiently well on its own, as long as you have Trick Room. Wood Hammer or even just Loaded Dice Rock Blast + Bullet Seed gives you some needed power to actually exert offensive pressure. Base Stonjourner couldn't really do that as Rock Slide is an effective but rather modest spread move in terms of power. And it's almost guaranteed to run Focus Sash. So, your Stontank likely won't run into this issue. Due to its stats, it has more item flexibility.

That said, I will say that the "flimmsy" SpD description can be misleading since Stontank is almost as specially bulky as Incineroar, fwiw! Unlike Incineroar, Stontank has so much HP, it doesn't necessarily have to invest a lot of EVs into its HP, therefore, it has a lot of room for SpD investment! Just to be clear, I'm not saying your stat distribution makes Stontank overpower; I'm just pointing out that its special bulk is actually quite reasonable; it really isn't flimmsy if it's comparable to Incineroar.

Regarding Brynstorm, I should note we'll work with open teamsheet, according to sugarbear. So, there won't be any guesses about its potential ability. That said, I think the ability is absurdly powerful as it invalidates Ghost Pokémon. They just can't click any Ghost move, lest they get taken out immediately basically. I think some nerf is necessary to make the ability more reasonable to handle. Perhaps, a Powder clone but for Ghost move would be advisable and more in line with the developers' game design.

Regarding Smack Down, I feel like this misses the point of Rock being strong offensively at the cost of some shaky accuracy. It makes this move very spammable, and it already has wide distribution. I think lowering it down to 70 or 75 would be enough to have the sweet spot between utility (removing Flying immunity) and damage output.

Oh, right, I forgot to talk about the Fire/Flying Pokémon. I think base 128 Spe is a little bit too fast, essentially making it the go-to Tailwind setter, which also provides anti priority immunity. This is already a very strong niche. The problem with this is that there would be little incentive to run other potential Tailwind setter, such as Ribombee who is naturally immune to getting flinched. I think making it slower than Ribombee at the very least would give a player more opportunities to runn Ribombee if it fits the team, fwiw.

Did what you suggested to my subs, including the one I quoted you with. Lowering it’s Speed to 108 makes so that Ribombee can be the faster Tailwind user, though I compensated with increasing Atk and SpA by 10+ (they were previously 96) so that it wouldn’t hit too little for something with only 108 Speed. I also followed upon your suggestion to clarify that while Stontank’s special bulk is comparable to Incineroar thanks to beeg 120 base HP, I also made sure to clarify that Flying weakness can hurt a lot and would want to run in Trick Room to be truly theatening due to abysmal (great in TR granted) 25 base Speed.

I highly appreciates your review. I may not asked for it but given you got a lot more experience to VGC than I do, it wouldn’t hurt anyone for you to try help out and make my submissions more balanced for this competitive scene.

EDIT: Forgot Brynstorm is supposed to have a New Ability to I quickly introduce Night Light, which reduce damage from Ghost-type and Dark-type by 33% to any Pokémon, including opponents, itself and it’s teammate. If too high I can reduce it to 25%.

Cicada Song. Type: Bug. Power: 140. Accuracy 100%. Hits all Pokemon. 8 PP. Instead of taking damage, allied Bug types are healed by 25%.
Competitive use: It's a very powerful Trick Room sweeper, since with Tinted Lens almost nothing can stomach a Cicada Song. You could also run Bug Buzz if you don't want to hit your partner. Its typing also lets it check the Dark types that can give Trick Room teams trouble. You could even run it on Perish Trap teams, since it gets both Perish Song and U-turn.

Double Intimidate, maybe double weather sweepers, or even double Friend Guard to make both mons harder to KO. Or if you don't fancy any of that, you could just run Scrappy.
Is it broken? Speed leaves something to be desired, since it's not slow enough for Trick Room but needs support to outrun a lot of stuff. Those patchy defences also undercut its great HP.

Other Pokemon that could have Imitation: Inteleon, Kecleon, Sudowoodo

Buffed moves:
Dragon Rush is basically now Dragon type Flare Blitz, so perfect accuracy and 120 BP but it now causes recoil. Flinch chance is dropped to 10%
Belch now forces the user to eat their held berry before use. The user gains their effect.
Terrain Pulse and Weather Ball now have 100 BP even if there is no weather/terrain. So only the type changes.
Dragon Cheer now gives a +1 Atk or SpA boost (whichever of the target's is higher), +2 to Dragon types.
Fire Pledge, Water Pledge and Grass Pledge will now combo with any single target move of the other type (so Grass Pledge + Flamethrower will work)

For Wyveleon’s Imitation, you missed Hunger Switch and Ice Face, given these two are also form-changing Abilities.

Curious why you listed Eternal Ice among the Abilities that cannot be copied. Was it for flavor reason regarding the type or was it for balance reason?

Name: Pyragriff (Pyro + Griffon)

Ability: Innards Out / Unnerve

Weight: 12.4 lbs.
Useful Moves: (Besides from Pyukumuku's original movepool)

Physical: None!

Type: ==
Stats: 31/43/75/110/139/43 (441)
Abilities: Astral Veil / Levitate
Weight: 0.1 kg.

Physical

Egg group: Mineral

Type:
Psychic / Electric
Abilities: Night Light | Levitate
Night Light: All Pokémon’s Dark-type and Ghost-type moves are reduced by 33%. (vs. Thick Fat’s 50% to Fire and Ice)
Base stats: 90 HP / 50 Atk / 60 Def / 110 SpA / 160 SpD / 55 Speed | 525 BST
Useful moves:
Physical
: Nuzzle
Special: Psychic, Psyshock, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Dazzling Gleam, Flash Cannon, Energy Ball, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Icy Wind, Air Slash, Hurricane, Surf, Hydro Pump
Status: Protect, Wide Guard, Gravity, Calm Mind, Magic Coat, Taunt, Thunder Wave, Encore, Haze, Defog, Tailwind, Trick Room, Spirit Away*
Egg group: Amorphous + Monster
Appearance: Amorphous yellow and pink thundercloud whose formation resembles a brain.

Gender: Both
Competitive use: It's a strong Rain sweeper with huge Special Attack and can't miss Hurricanes in Rain. It can also run a more offensive utility set outside rain using Competitive as an Intimidate deterrent.
Is it broken? Average bulk and Speed outside rain, also has to rely on inaccurate Water STABs if it doesn't want to hit its partner

Name: Krikaria (Kriketune evo)

Ability: Swarm / Tinted Lens / Technician
Base stats
118 / 40 / 111 / 135 / 86 / 50 (540 BST)

Physical: U-turn
Special: Bug Buzz, Cicada Song, Focus Blast, Earth Power, Power Gem, Psychic, Boomburst
Status: Sticky Web, Encore, Sing, Perish Song, Calm Mind
Size: 1.8m
Weight: 50 kgs
Egg group: Bug
Gender: Both
Cicada Song. Type: Bug.
Is it broken? Low Speed, mono Bug typing gives it common weaknesses, needs Trick Room to perform at its best.

Name: Wyveleon
Type: Normal / Dragon
Ability: Imitation / Scrappy
Imitation: Copies its partner's ability upon being sent out. Can't copy the following abilities: Receiver, Power of Alchemy, Trace, Forecast, Flower Gift, Multitype, Illusion, Wonder Guard, Zen Mode, Imposter, Stance Change, Power Construct, Schooling, Comatose, Shields Down, Disguise, RKS System, Battle Bond, Wandering Spirit, Zero to Hero, Commander, As One, Ice Face, Hunger Switch, Sand Mirage, Shared Mindset, Mind Control
Base stats: 120 / 120 / 65 / 40 / 70 / 85 (500 BST)
Useful Moves
Physical: Fake Out, Mighty Blow, Quick Attack, Outrage, Scale Shot, Breaking Swipe, Close Combat, Earthquake, U-turn
Special: N/A
Status: Taunt, Swords Dance, Dragon Dance, Glare
Size: 1m
Weight: 14.2 kgs
Gender: Both
Competitive use: With proper teambuilding, this thing could be an absolute menace. Imagine Pure Power on something with base 120 Attack! Or Simple, for a +2 +2 Dragon Dance or +4 Swords Dance.

Moves. Vote Yes or No to the changes you (dis)agree with. You are allowed to vote yes on your own suggestions.

- Electro Ball: New damage calculation as follows: 1 >= 60 BP, 1.5 >= 80 BP, 2 >= 100, 3 >= 120, 4 >= 150. If you have some trouble understanding this, here's a short explanation.
