My second VGC team is testing pretty well. It was built to counter most of the current meta.

Nickname reasonings
Again Ihave named my team after One Piece characters
Nami - Navigator of the Strawhat Pirate's
Musshuru - Ate the Noko Noko no Mi, allowing him to create poisonous spores
Kizaru - Marine Admiral who ate the Pika Pika no Mi, letting him create, control and turn into Light
Akainu - Marine Admiral who ate the Magu Magu no Mi, letting him create, crontol and turn into Magma
X Drake - Ate a Devil Fruit that lets him turn into an ancient theropod Dinosaur
Boa Hancock - Ate the Meru Meru no Mi which can turn anyone with feelings of lust of love towards the user into Stone.
Nami
Item: Loppunite
Ability: Limber - Scrappy
Nature: Jolly
EV's: 4 HP/ 252 Atk/ 252 Spe
- Fake Out
- Low Kick
- Ice Punch
- Protect
Despite being a very good Pokemon in OU Singles, Mega-Lopunny also holds its own in VGC and Doubles. Scrappy Fake Out behind amazing speed is an excellent thing to have as it disables Ghost Type leads such as Sableye, Chandelure and Dusclops for one turn. Low Kick will also kill Sableye provided Lopunny isn't burnt and Low Kick also hits Aegislash who is also popular for doubles. Loppuny being able to outspeed Greninja is also amazing as Greninja cause problems for the rest of the team. Ice Punch is being used to hit Landorus-T, Mega-Salamence, Garchomp and Thundurus for heavy damage.
Musshuru
Item: Black Sludge
Ability: Regenrator
Nature: Sassy
EV's: 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 SpA
IV's: 0 Spe
- Spore
- Rage Powder
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
Musshuru is the main answer to Fairy types who would trouble Sceptile and Loppuny. The 0 Speed IV is to make sure that Amoonguss is effective at countering Trick Room. Provided that Trick Room is in place then Amoonguss will be as slow as the other opposing Pokemon in Trick Room and then be ready to put them to sleep. Rage Powder is to direct all attacks at Amoonguss, such as Pokemon thinking they can take down the frail Mega-Lopunny whilst instead they attack the bulky Amoonguss and Lopunny kills everything. Giga Drain nails Water Types who think they can survive and Sludge Bomb handles Fairy types easily.
Kizaru
Item: Leftovers
ABility: Pressure
Nature: Modest
EV's: 252 HP/ 252 SpA/ 4 Spe
- Discharge
- Heat Wave
- Roost
- Protect
Normally paired with Sceptile for obvious reasons. That pairing is one of the most effective in the game. Sceptile takes care of Ground types for Zapdos, and Zapdos not only boosts Sceptile SpA with Discharge but also takes care of Flying Types that Sceptile doesn't like. Otherwise, Heat Wave is a great option to handle Grass types like Amoonguss and Ferrothorn. Roost and Protect are being run on the same moveset to ensure Zapdos has a nice long healthy life.
Akainu
Item: Air Balloon
ABility: Flash Fire
Nature: Modest
EV's: 252 HP/ 252 SpA/ 4 Spe
- Heat Wave
- Earth Power
- Flash Cannon
- Protect
Heatran holds Air Balloon to safely switch into an Earthquake. Otherwise it's a pretty standard Heatran. Heat Wave is the spammy attack, Earth Power handles other Heatran and Flash Cannon is the other STAB that mainly deals with Mega-Gardevoir. Heatran is best paired with Amoonguss or Sceptile as they can both handle Water Types whilst Heatran can't really deal with them.
X Drake
Item: Sceptilite
Ability: Overgrow - Lightningrod
Nature: Timid
EV's 4 HP/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe
- Leaf Storm
- Dragon Pulse
- Focus Blast
- Substitute
As mentioned early this Pokemon works best with Zapdos, but it also helps Miltoic to redirect Electric Attacks. Leaf Storm hits Azumaril, Swampert, Quagsire and Slowbro for massive damage whilst it outspeeds nearly every Dragon type and kills it with Dragon Pulse. Focus Blast is to hit Heatran and kill Tyranitar. Substitute is being run over Protect because Zapdos can use Discharge whilst Sceptile hides behind a Sub and still get the boost from Lightningrod.
Boa Hancock
Item: Assault Vest
Ability: Competitive
Nature: Bold
EV's: 252 HP/ 252 SpA/ 4 Def
- Scald
- Blizzard
- Hidden Power (Electric)
- Dragon Tail
Meet the biggest threat to Mega-Salamence, Landorus-T and Gyarados. In fact just about any Intimidate user should be afraid because now they have to deal with a Pokemon with +2 SpA, incredible Special Defence thanks to Assault Vest and the risk of being Burnt through Scald. Blizzard is being used to surpirse both Pokemon. Yes it misses sometimes but hitting both Pokemon for greater damage is worth it. Hidden Power Electric deals with Water Types and Dragon Tail surprises anything that trys to set up besides Fairy Types.
