about me:

I'm mainly a randbats player as I consider myself to be a bad team builder, but every now and then I delve into the worlds of OU and VGC. My peak rating in VGC is 1514 with this team.
Team:
The Spammer
Raging Bolt (Magnet) Fairy tera
Modest
Thunderbolt/Thunderclap/Discharge/Protect
-So, I'm addicted to Discharge spam, and I put it on pretty much every team I can. It's really good into a wide variety of matchups (Kyogre and most CIR especially) and that 30%X2 chance of a para cheeses game I probably shouldn't win.
-Thunderclap and Protect feel like auto-includes given RB's speed tier
-I dropped Draco Meteor for Thunderbolt when I realized I was almost never clicking it. I already wasn't usually bringing it to matchups where my opponents had a ground type, and given the SEVERE lack of tera grounds, I'm not worried about suddenly getting walled.
-Tera Fairy was for the Miraidon matchup, but since I dropped draco, I've never tera'd RB, even vs Miraidon. Perhaps Tera Steel would be better.
The Grounder
Ursaluna-BM (AV) Normal tera
Modest
Blood Moon/Vacuum Wave/Hyper Voice/Earth Power
-I've been meaning to try an AV UBM as a partner for discharge spam for a while. I put a lot of EV's in phys bulk to take hits on both sides of the spectrum and make it nearly impossible to one-shot without clicking CC.
-Tera normal is to take surprise KO's that I wouldn't be able to take because I'm AV and not something like LO
-This mon singlehandedly clears CSR+Za teams. Meaning, I don't have to worry about that matchup
Trick Room Setter
Calyrex Ice-Rider (Clear Amulet) Water tera
Brave
Trick Room/Leech Seed/Protect/Glacial Lance
-I wasn't a big fan of Leech Seed Caly until I used it myself. Honestly, I couldn't imagine why anyone would drop High Horsepower and allow one of their biggest threats to get walled in some key matchups (namely Koraidon), but this thing cheeses wins like no other. LS + Protect insta wins so many endgames, and UBM gets the things you'd hit with HH with it's Earth Power. Protect/TR causes mind games for the opponents. Not to mention that this is still a demon that can solo sweep in some matchups.
-I have noticed that my CIR focused strats struggle vs Lunala leads though
The GOAT
Incineroar (Safety Goggles) Ghost tera
Impish
Fake Out/Flare Blitz/Knock Off/Parting Shot
-Standard set.
-This guy mainly just fake outs then parting shots, but will throw out a real attacking move every now and then.
-Have taken multiple wins just because my opponent overthinks what I want to do with incin on one turn.
Trust me, this guy works on the team
Koraidon (Life Orb) Fire tera
Jolly
Close Combat/Flare Blitz/Flame Charge/Protect
-Standard set
-Great partner for Raging Bolt. I get to power up RB's Discharge with sun, then I get to click protect when RB Discharges.
-Works as a lead or as an endgame cleaner. The Pokemon that my opponents preserve to use after a Trick Room tend to lose to Sun boosted Flare Blitz's.
The Gremlin
Sableye (Focus Sash) Normal tera
Jolly
Fake Out/Will-O-Wisp/Encore/Foul Play
-Used to be a Whimsicott
-Max speed to outspeed and fake out most incineroars
-Helps enable Caly strats vs Urshifu leads.
-Will-O encourage many mons to tera or click protect. If they click protect, I can perma lock then with Encore.
-If my UBM just clicked Blood Moon, I can side Encore and click Vacuum Wave on UBM, then the Encore changes VW into BM, meaning I can BM twice in a row, with the second BM having priority. Nobody expects it! This also works with Hyper Voice on two low HP mons.
Common leads:
Koraidon+Incineroar
Pros- Koraidon rampages. Incin makes switching super safe.
Cons-Basic and predictable. Mirrors are awkward.
CIR+Incineroar
Pros- Basically guaranteed TR. Caly feels super flexible.
Cons- Incin Mirrors are 40-60 or worse. Caly can be forced to tera in some matchups (which isn't always bad)
CIR+Sableye (incin in back)
Pros- auto win vs Incin by swapping to your own incin turn 1 and protect with CIR. Catches Koraidons and Urshifu rapids off guard.
Cons- Requires two support mons.
Koraidon+RB (UBM+Incin in back)
Pros- most flexible lead. Opponents usually are weary of Koraidon, so protect + discharge is a surprisingly good t1. Both swaps have merit based on the opp lead.
Cons- Can only do in some matchups :(
Best Matchups: CSR, Groudon, Tailwind
Worst Matchups: Lunala, some Miraidons (Miraidon + CIR is especially bad)
Difficulty: 4-5/10. This team is a toolbox, but it's pretty intuitive what to do most turns if you have a good sense of the game. Most games I lose are due to not bringing the right 4 or not keeping in mind exactly how many turns of Trick Room are left (skill issue)
Team Strength: 7-7.5/10. Like I said, this team is a toolbox. There are very few matchups that feel 20-80 or worse, but at the same time, it's both gimmicky and unrefined. It also doesn't have a very high power ceiling, as you're not bringing both restricteds in about half of your games
