Terapagos @ Choice Specs
Ability: Tera Shell
Level: 50
Tera Type: Stellar
EVs: 68 HP / 4 Def / 244 SpA / 4 SpD / 188 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 15 Atk
- Tera Starstorm
- Earth Power
- Dark Pulse
- Hyper Beam
Terapagos is the latest addition to the lineup of powerful Restricted Pokemon used in Regulation G. Terapagos is infamous for its powerful unresisted spread attack Tera Starstorm when it Terastallizes, and Choice Specs allows it to hit hard immediately. Terapagos's high bulk bolstered by Tera Shell allows it to survive powerful attacks and continue to threaten its foes. Zamazenta-C threatens Terapagos and checks it with Wide Guard, so a partner like Chi-Yu threatens Zamazenta-C and boosts Terapagos's damage via Beads of Ruin. Koraidon threatens Terapagos, making Flutter Mane a good partner since it threatens Koraidon and compensates Terapagos's middling Speed with Icy Wind. Pelipper also checks Terapagos with Wide Guard; therefore, Iron Hands is another useful partner providing Fake Out support and dealing with Pelipper. While Terapagos typically locks itself into Tera Starstorm, it uses coverage moves such as Earth Power to threaten Zamazenta-C and Dark Pulse for Lunala. Hyper Beam OHKOes Calyrex-I and Terastallized Zamazenta-C and ignores opposing Wide Guard. The EV spread lets it survive Close Combat from Urshifu-R and outrun Pelipper.
