[SET COMMENTS]
Boasting a great Speed tier, excellent special bulk, a solid offensive typing, great coverage options, Virizion is a prominent threat in the SS RU metagame. Stone Edge allows Virizion to hit Flying-types like Charizard and Xatu, which otherwise would wall it. Alternatively, Zen Headbutt covers Poison-types like Vileplume and Weezing, but is unable to OHKO any of them even at +2. Life Orb is the preferred item, as it gives Virizion extra damage output, but Lum Berry can be used for more opportunities to set up against bulky Water-types that could burn it with Scald.

Virizion preys on passive Pokemon that can't hit it very hard such as Mudsdale, Steelix, Gastrodon, and Jellicent, although it must be wary of Scald burns from the Water-types if it's not running Lum Berry. Thereby, Pokemon that struggle against bulky Ground-types, like Copperajah, Salazzle, and Silvally-Steel, make for efficient teammates. Depending on its coverage move, Virizion will be walled by Xatu or by Poison-types like Vileplume and Weezing. As a result, Pokemon that can threaten them, like Alolan Raichu and Vanilluxe, are convenient teammates. Indeedee's Psychic Terrain boosts Virizion's Zen Headbutt, allowing it to OHKO Vileplume after Stealth Rock, and prevents Virizion from being revenge killed by priority moves after a few Close Combat drops. Virizion can have a hard time switching in due to physical frailty, so pair it with pivots that can provide VoltTurn support like Xatu, Silvally-Steel, and Silvally-Dark.

Thanks to its great special bulk, its perfect coverage, and a defensive typing that allows it to easily take advantage of bulky Water- and Ground-types such as Jellicent, Gastrodon, Steelix, and Rhydon, specially offensive Virizion is a menacing sweeper. After a single boost, Virizion is very hard to switch into, since most of the Pokemon that resist its STAB moves and aren't hit super effectively by Air Slash still get 2HKOed, like Weezing and Charizard. The boost in Special Defense is also very convenient, preventing an OHKO from Choice Scarf Indeedee that lack Psyshock.

Rhydon and Salazzle makes for great Virizion partners, since they benefit from its ability to threaten bulky Water-types like Jellicent and Gastrodon. Pokemon that have a hard time against bulky Ground-types, like Copperajah, Silvally-Steel and Salazzle, also appreciate Virizion's support. Despite its perfect coverage, Virizion can be lacking in power to break through some of its checks like Xatu and Charizard if it hasn't set up a Calm Mind, so teammates that can handle them like Alolan Raichu and Rapidash are appreciated. Virizion pairs well with Pokémon that can deal with Salazzle and Charizard, like Rhydon, Snorlax, Jellicent, and Calm Mind Indeedee.

I don't like synthesis at all, imo virizion needs either stone edge or zen headbutt (depends on if u wanna lose to plume or skorch/zard)

slash Lum before life orb, it's not nice to get burned by scalds when virizion uses waters as setup fodder anyway

Close Combat is its strongest STAB move, capable of denting even Pokemon that resists to Fighting-type like Vikavolt, Whimsicott and Silvally-Fairy.
This is unnecessary cuz ur gonna be hitting fairy types with leaf blade anyway, and u hard lose to whimsicott if it has hurricane (which it should, for virizion specifically). and u'd be hitting vikavolt with stone edge

Ice Shard Vanilluxe
does this exist? even if it does it doesn't sound like the best example to have tbh, same for scarf rillaboom. virizion gets revenge killed by most scarfers in the tier anyway so maybe just remove the whole sentence about rillaboom and vanilluxe altogether

i have a few more comments but i dont have time to make a lengthy post, i'll come back

Seconding the fact virizion needs to be 3 attacks in this meta whatever scenario. No space for synthesis as it is on the same set, can be mentioned on OO tho.

QC have discussed and a cm set should be added, order SD Set first CM set second

Calm Mind / Focus Blast / Giga Drain / Air Slash

Life Orb as the item. Indeedee can be mentioned as a partner since psychic terrain let it dodge revenge kills from priority options after using close combat a lot with the defense drops imo, and in general a great partner to it.

and depending on the situation it can even afford to set up even more in front of Pokemon that should beat him, like Weezing and Vileplume.

this is not true so just remove it, just say it helps set up vs weaker special attackers maybe? or remove it altogether cuz everyone would know what cm does

good job otherwise

qc 1/2

lum should be slashed with LO and not vice versa (swords dance)

morpeko sucks, replace it with a better thing that struggles vs grounds, like silv steel or salazzle (both sets)

change the last sentence to a "things that check salazzle and charizard" section and add multiple examples, not just deedee (calm mind)

2/2 well done

Boasting a great Speed tier, excellent special bulk, (comma) a and solid offensive typing, (comma) and backed up by great coverage options, Virizion is a prominent threat in the SS RU metagame. Swords Dance allows Virizion to boost its mediocre Attack stat to a menacing level, making it very hard to switch into at +2. Close Combat is its strongest STAB move but has the drawback of lowering Virizion's defensive stats upon using, making it easier to revenge kill. Stone Edge allows Virizion to hit Flying-types like Charizard and Xatu, which otherwise would wall it. Alternatively, Zen Headbutt is an option to covers Poison-types like Vileplume and Weezing, but is unable to OHKO any of them even at +2. Life Orb is the preferred item, as it gives Virizion extra damage output, but Lum Berry can be used for more opportunities to set up against bulky Water-types that could burn it with Scald.

Virizion preys on passive Pokemon that can't hit it very hard such as Mudsdale, Steelix, Gastrodon, and Jellicent, although you it must be wary of the Scald's burns from the two latters if you're Water-types if it's not running Lum Berry. Thereby, Pokemon that appreciate bulky Water-types being handled, such as Salazzle, are great teammates. (what? you just established it's not the greatest water answer) Pokemon that struggle against bulky Ground-types, like Copperajah, Salazzle, and Silvally-Steel, (comma) also makes for efficient teammates. Depending on its coverage move, Virizion will be either walled by Xatu or by Poison-types like Vileplume and Weezing. As a result, Pokemon that can threaten them, like Alolan Raichu and Vanilluxe, are convenient teammates. Indeedee's Psychic Terrain boosts Virizion's Zen Headbutt, allowing it to OHKO Vileplume after Stealth Rock, and is another great partner for Virizion because thanks to the Psychic Terrain it sets, it prevents Virizion from being revenge killed by priority moves after a few Close Combat drops. Indeedee also has the added benefit of boosting Virizion's Zen Headbutt, allowing it to guarantee the OHKO on Vileplume after Stealth Rock damage. Virizion can have a hard time switching in since it is kinda frail on the physical side due to physical frailty, so pair it with pivots that can provide VoltTurn support like Xatu, Silvally-Steel, (comma) and or Silvally-Dark.

Thanks to its great special bulk, its perfect coverage, and a defensive typing that allows it to easily take advantage of bulky Water- and Ground-types such as Jellicent, Gastrodon, Steelix, and Rhydon, specially offensive Virizion is a menacing sweeper. Calm Mind allows Virizion to fully take advantage of Ground- and Water-types since it doesn't fear the Scald's burn from the latters. After a single boost, Virizion is very hard to switch into, since most of the Pokemon that resists both of its STAB moves and aren't hit super effectively by Air Slash still get 2HKOed, like Weezing and Charizard. The boost in Special Defense given by Calm Mind is also very convenient, (comma) preventing an OHKO from Choice Scarf Indeedee that lack Psyshock since at +1 Virizion can't be revenge killed from full by Scarf non-Psyshock Indeedee. Giga drain is the preferred Grass STAB move since the recovery provided is more valuable to Virizion than the extra damage provided by Energy Ball. Air Slash bestows perfect coverage to Virizion, hitting the likes of Vileplume, Xatu and Charizard.

Rhydon and Salazzle makes for great Virizion partners, since they benefit from its ability to threaten bulky Water-types like Jellicent and Gastrodon. Pokemon that have a hard time against bulky Ground-types, like Copperajah, Silvally-Steel and Salazzle, (comma) also appreciate Virizion's support. Despite its perfect coverage, Virizion can be lacking in power to break through some of its checks like Xatu and Charizard, (unboosted? cause you said charizard is easily 2hkoed last paragraph) so teammates that can handle them, (comma) like Alolan Raichu and Rapidash are appreciated. Finally, Virizion pairs well with Pokémon that can deal with Salazzle and Charizard, like Rhydon, Snorlax, Jellicent, and Calm Mind Indeedee.
