Infernape ** Vanila Ice
- Close Combat
- Flamethrower
- Grass Knot
- Nasty Plot
Item Attached: Leftovers
Trait: Blaze
EVs and Nature
EVs: 52 Atk / 204 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)

Mixed Sweeper. 204 SAtk 2HKOs Careful Dusknoir with 252 SDef EVs after a Scheme. 52 Atk is still a guaranteed 2HKO against Blissey and Snorlax using Close Combat.

Forretress ** Skarm Jr.
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Rest / Explosion
- Stealth Rock
Item Attached: Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs and Nature
EVs: 252 HP / 100 Atk / 156 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)

Name pretty much explains it all. It is just like Skarmory, except with a moveset that is 3/4 different. o.o

Cresselia ** Luna Moona
- Calm Mind
- Moonlight
- Psychic
- Thunder Wave
Item Attached: Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs and Nature
EVs: 252 HP / 164 Def / 92 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

350 Defense to wall Physical Attacks fairly well. Max HP is standard, and the remaining went into SDef. Its mainly a supporter, thus only 1 Attacking Move (Psychic), although it can do alot of damage to a team if you dont be careful. Really cool Special Wall.

Gyarados ** Smile?
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Taunt
Item Attached: Leftovers
Trait: Intimitize
EVs and Nature
EVs: 116 HP / 252 Attack / 140 Speed
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

Umm, it's Gyarados?

dpmfa466.png

Electivire ** I 6-0 You
- Cross Chop
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- Thunderbolt
Item Attached: Expert Belt
Trait: Motor Drive
EVs and Nature
EVs: 156 Atk / 136 SAtk / 218 Spd
Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)

Absorbs the Electric attacks geared towards Gyarados, then kills alot of stuff with the +1 Speed.

Rhyperior ** Rocky B.
- Avalanche
- Earthquake
- Roar
- Stealth Rock / Stone Edge
Item Attached: Leftovers
Trait: Solid Rock
EVs and Nature
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Atk / 176 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)

Yea.... I seriously needed something to beat Electivire. That thing is such a pest, for real. It's no wonder I'm using it. :) Serves as my Phazer, and also a second Physical wall. Not sure on if I should use Stealth Rock or Stone Edge.... Both are good, but since I do have Forretress, I'm 67% sure I'm going to use Stone Edge.

Threat List

Tyranitar: Infernape, Forretress, Electivire, Gyarados (Beaten?)

Meh, too lazy to keep updating the threat list thing while adding Pokemon....

Fire away the comments please....

You're threat list is incredibly flawed. Give it some more thought.

Can Infernape safely switch into Snorlax or Metagross?

"Electivire with +1" is not a valid counter for anything either.

glancing at your counters list, it seems that you will be depending on infernape's defenses in order to take out half the list, and the monkey can't switch in to a lot of attacks.

Gyrados still seems to be a problem if he is out before electivire- all forry can do to it is explode.

I would say yes to stone edge on rhyperior.

Crescelia does not take a Megahorn well, and Fortresses cannot take Close Combat, and Gyarados cannot take Stone Edge(Hey its a CB Heracross set!). Your threat list needs work.

I think Ice Beam is much better on Cresselia, it covers more stuff in comparison to Psychic and doesn't give Dark Types free switch ins.

Even with Stone Edge on Rhyperior an Aqua Tail Gyarados will own you. Even if it'll have Max Def and HP, a DD Aqua Tail might kill it..... Therefor you might want to give Gyarados AND Rhyperior Stone Edge. Or you might just use Charge Beam on Cresselia....

In this case, Hard rock just eliminates STAB, leaving the 4* weakness. Rhyperior might or might not survive. I wouldn't rely on it....

thats not how solid rock works; it makes the 4x weakness a ~2.67x weakness.

Technically, that's right. STAB is 1.5x, or 3/2. Solid Rock reduces damage to 2/3. (3/2)*(2/3)=1, so no STAB.

Since Rhyperior isn't listed as a counter to anything with 4x Ice weakness, Megahorn works better than Avalanche. I still don't like the 60 BP if you aren't attacked.

stab is 1.5 times the moves base power. then you put that into the damage equation, so i dont think it is cancelled out by solid rock.

Not exactly, please see X-Act's updated damage formula here.
"Elimination of STAB" is a good approximation for Hard Rock but in the end you could be off by a point or two due to whole rounding-down-after-every-operand thing, so it's more of a (very close) upper bound.
