Volcarona Centered (First RMT)

Hi, this is my first team that I've made because I just entered competitive pokemon. I wanted to base my team around Volcarona because I like it's coverage, stats, moves, and typing (although its 4x weak to stealth rocks). I also like using special attacks more often than physical because of the many pokemon whose sets involve will-o-wisp. I tried to make a team with a mix between both offense and defense.

Anyways this is the team I plan to run

Volcarona @ Life Orb
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Timid Nature
-Quiver Dance
-Fiery Dance
-Bug Buzz
-Psychic

Volcarona will be my primary sweeper after 1 Quiver Dance or from a 50% chance SAtk boost from Fiery Dance. Life orb will bring some extra damage and Flame Body for the 30% chance after a physical attack. I don't run defensive EVs because I think Volcarona is very fragile and will never be able to survive 2 attacks - even with defensive EVs. I run timid because Volcarona is on a 100 base speed benchmark for many pokemon and I want it to be able to out speed without the use of Quiver Dance.

Roserade @ Expert Belt
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Timid Nature
-HP Ground
-Sludge Bomb
-Energy Ball
-Dazzling Gleam

Roserade will be a secondary special sweeper incase Volcarona faints. I chose Roserade because of it's special sweeper stats, coverage and it's typing can cover many of Volcarona's weaknesses as well as Volcarona being able to cover for some of Roserade's weaknesses. I use HP Ground for the steel types that wall in Roserade and Technician for the added boost to HP Ground. Expert Belt will deal additional damage with supper effective attacks with no drawbacks - and with Roserade's coverage, Expert Belt will be a handy item.

Magnezone @ Air Balloon
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 252 SAtk / 172 HP / 84 Spd
Modest Nature
-HP Ice
-Thunderbolt
-Flash Cannon
-Magnet Rise

Magnezone, in my opinion, is one of the best pokemon because of it's amazing typing with many resistances, well balanced stats and coverage with HP Ice to create a psuedo-BoltBeam. Magnezone has many resistances to both Roserade and Volcarona's weaknesses - especially Flying. Air Balloon is used to get a risk free Magnet Rise to negate his common 4x weakness to Ground and Analytic to get that extra boost in power for being slower that the opponent. Standard EVs for Magnezone.

Hitmontop @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Def / 200 HP / 56 Atk
Impish Nature
-Rapid Spin
-High Jump Kick
-Mach Punch
-Stone Edge

Hitmontop will be a bulky Rapid Spinner for Volcarona. He will also be the only source of Fighting type damage on this team. Leftovers gives Hitmontop some recovery and Stone Edge for Flying types that counter him. Mach Punch will give him priority for sticky situations and his Nature and EV spread is to be bulky. Intimidate will be used for the most fearful of Physical Attackers.

Garchomp @ Lum Berry
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
-Dragon Claw
-Earthquake
-Swords Dance
-Crunch

I chose Garchomp because in my opinion he is an unstoppable force when he gets a swords dance off. standard move set, EVs and Nature for sweeping and Lum Berry for status effects. Jolly Nature is used to out speed other Garchomp which are not Choice Scarfed and hopefully out speed bulky Dragon Dance Dragonite. I prefer rough skin over Sand Veil because I have no sand on my team and rough skin will deal some damage to physical attackers.

Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Health / 252 SAtk / 4 Def
Modest Nature
-Cosmic Power
-Rapid Spin
-Recover
-Scald

Starmie will be my bulkiest pokemon with coverage of Roserade and Garchomp's weakness to Ice. Cosmic Power will raise its above average defenses and Rapid Spin is important for a safe switch in for Volcarona. Scald for a burn chance and Recover to prolong the additional stat boosts as well as stall out the burn. Sitrus Berry for a first turn recovery and Natural Cure to rid Starmie of status upon switching out.

Weak Points:

No Pokemon with Toxic
No Entry Hazards of my own
No Screeners
Not enough Stat Boosting moves

Thank you for your time and for reading this. If you have any advice about changing pokemon, EV spreads, move sets or items, please post them in the comments. Every bit of advice helps!

Btw - I don't like using legendaries, just personal prefrence

First of all, I see you don't have a Mega. Your Starmie set is trying to be unnecessarily bulky while retaining Rapid Spin. For Starmie, it generally doesn't work. For this reason, I suggest that you switch Starmie to Mega-Blastoise. Mega-Blastoise is generally considered the best Rapid Spinner in the metagame, only not being used due to it taking up the Mega slot. Since you don't have those problems, it would provide an immediate improvement as it can hit the spinblockers with a Dark Pulse.

Next, two spinners is unnecessary. Hitmontop is just deadweight that adds to your Flying weakness. You also seem to have a major weakness to Ghost types like Gengar. To remedy this, put Bisharp over Hitmontop. He can get rid of all Ghosts, bar ones with Focus Blast or HP Fighting.

Finally, Magnezone is there to get rid of Flying types, but in practice doesn't. Talonflame Flare Blitz's it, Mega-Pinsir usually carries Close Combat or Earthquake, and Staraptor always carries Close Combat. To remedy this, change from Magnzone to Rotom-W. It reliably checks all 3 Flying types.
