Volcarona engulfs the 1v1 metagame in flames! Thanks to its high Special Attack and good STAB options, Volcarona can easily beat metagame staples such as Iron Crown and Corviknight. Substitute lets it scout status moves, allowing for a safe Quiver Dance and attack afterwards. Substitute can also help Volcarona get into Swarm range. Swarm-boosted Bug Buzz and Overheat severely damage foes such as Corviknight and Hoopa-U. Volcarona can support Psychic- and Steel-weak Pokemon like Pecharunt and Iron Valiant, easily smoldering foes that threaten them like Iron Crown and Cresselia with Overheat. The EVs let it outspeed foes like Choice Specs and Choice Scarf Regidrago and Hoopa-U while surviving attacks from them. Volcarona overall does amazing in 1v1, even clinching wins against unexpected foes like Pecharunt and Ursaluna-B thanks to Substitute and Quiver Dance as well as their lower Special Defense. Support against foes such as Ogerpon-W and Landorus-T is great, so baiting them and then sending out Raging Bolt, Primarina, or Meowscarada can be useful. However, make sure to be wary of Water-types such as Primarina and the aforementioned Ogerpon-W.

Substitute can call out status moves Make sure you mention that Substitute also is used to get Volcarona into Swarm range safely, allowing for a safe Quiver Dance and attack afterwards. Overheat allows for bursts of damage, and Bug Buzz combined with Swarm can allow for massive damage onto foes such as Ogerpon-W and Raging Bolt Both of these examples aren't great, as many Ogerpon-Ws outspeed you and threaten you with Ivy Cudgel, and Calm Mind Raging Bolt can boost alongside you and potentially with in the end with Thunderclap. Volcarona can support Grass- and Steel-weak Pokemon like Ursaluna and Iron Valiant, easily smoldering them with Overheat Two of the most common Grass-types right now are Meowscarada and Ogerpon-W, both of which actually just beat this Volcarona set. I would maybe use Psychic-types as an example, as many of them like Cresselia and some Hoopa-Us (Hoopa can win if its Choice Scarf Rock Tomb or AV Rock Tomb though that's fairly rare) really hate Volcarona. The EVs can outspeed foes like Regidrago and Hoopa-U while surviving attacks from them Make it clear that its specifically Choice Scarf and Choice Specs Regidrago, since AV Regidrago can tank Volcarona's hits and Choice Band can just nuke it. Volcarona overall does amazing into the meta game, even clinching wins against unexpected foes like Pecharunt and Ursaluna-B thanks to Substitute and Quiver Dance, as well as their lower Special Defense. Support into foes such as Ogerpon-W and Landorus-T is great, so baiting them and then sending out Raging Bolt, Primarina, or Meowscarada can be useful. Really make sure to be wary of Water-types.

This makes it sound like Bug Buzz is the thing doing the damage to these mons. Also I would exclude the AV mention, as you OHKO a lot of variants with Overheat, and they normally can't win even if they do tank your hit.

I'm not quite sure what this is supposed to be, but I trust you can take care of it

Substitute can also help Volcarona get into Swarm range. Swarm-boosted Bug Buzz combined with Swam allows for bursts of damage (this is not adding anything besides the fact that it does a lot of damage. It's better to at least mention a couple of notable targets), and Overheat can allow for massive damage onto severely damages foes such as Corviknight and Metagross. Volcarona can support Psychic- and Steel-weak Pokemon like Ursaluna and Iron Valiant, easily smoldering foes that threaten them like Iron Crown and Cresselia with Overheat. The EVs can let it outspeed foes like Choice Specs and Choice Scarf Regidrago and Hoopa-U while surviving attacks from them.
