Introduction:
Manaphy is back. We are here for the first time with a very good bulky offensive team focused in Manaphy, one of my favorite mons. Thanks to the exceptional synergy of Volt-Turn and the core Zor-M + Manaphy, we are able to consistently clean up the path for easy Manaphy sweeps. I wanted to build a team that was very tough and hard-hitting at the same time, since then momentum becomes easy to find. As the RMT title says, this is also a semi Volt-Turn team, which can achieve easy wins if used properly. So, I hope you enjoy this RMT.

Sea Conqueror (Manaphy) @ Leftovers / Shed Shell (In Case u wanna beat Gothistalls)
Ability: Hydration
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Def / 16 Spe
Bold Nature
- Rain Dance
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Rest

The Pokemon that can destroy so many teams just by performing a few Calm Minds is based and can stand a lot of physical damage. If it starts boosting up, it will be game over for the opponent. It's a very good pokemon, and one of the Water-typed Pokémon in the current ORAS OU metagame. It can easily beat both rain and stall altogether, which are two of the most annoying playstyles in the current metagame, by taking advantage of Rest and its immediate healing under Rain.

I Gonna Be Ur Best Side (Scizor) (F) @ Scizorite
Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 248 HP / 96 Def / 160 SpD / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Roost
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance

Among the best megas that exist in the current metagame, Scizor completes a very good core with manaphy, as they keep a really good synergy, and have a very good coverage. It's the main counter against fairies, such as Specs Sylveon or Garde, which are always a problem for all the teams. If their checks are removed and countered, the game can be very quickly finished. Furthermore, Scizor is the Pokémon that prevents dragons from partying, and it has access to priority, which prevents Weavile from raping my team. It's also one of the Pokémon that often destroys offense.

Abelardo (Tornadus-Therian) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 96 HP / 160 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Knock Off
- Heat Wave
- U-turn
- Hurricane

One of the best flying pokemon for such offensive teams, we find our friend Tornadus-T to be a very bulky and though Pokémon when holding Assault Vest. Thanks to its regenerative ability, it can enter and exit the field using U-Turn to always maintain the momentum in the field. It's also the Pokémon that discourages EQ spam with Latias, and that allows me to handle Pokemon such as lando-T and Excadrill by smart switches. Being such a fast mon, it is able to remove enemy items, therefore decreasing the power of their attacks, or their speed.

I Gonna be Helpfull (Garchomp) (F) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 240 HP / 172 Def / 96 Spe
Impish Nature
- Endure
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Dragon Tail

Garchomp, the most used Pokémon in the current metagame and the best rocker in the game, is an extremely bulky Pokémon by the physical side that can switch-in against all physical attackers due to its great resistance. It's also one of my favorite Pokémon together with Tornadus-T. Due to its Ground/Dragon typing, the immunity to Electric type is very welcome addition. Dragon Tail is used to phase out Pokémon while they begin to boost. Earthquake vanquishes Fire-type Pokémon.

Optional for checks better offensive mons and make the team passive, and for can handdle zard x better.

The Fucking Wall (Hippowdon) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 240 HP / 152 Def / 116 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Whirlwind/Toxic/Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock
- Slack Off

Not Pivot Trash (Raikou) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Calm Mind
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Raikou, one of the best Electric-type mons, is pretty good and helps me control bird spam, which is always quite upsetting. Its Calm Mind set can deal enough damage to the opposing team, in addition to maintaining the momentum with Volt-Switch and completing a light Volt-Turn core which is always quite annoying for many teams. Raikou also helps me to handle threats such as Thundurus and Manectric-M, which can easily destroy the team due to their sky-high speed and large Special Attack capabilities.

RemovetheHazardsIsMyWork (Latias) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Hidden Power [Fire] / Roost
- Psyshock
- Defog

Latias, as its name implies, has the duty of removing hazards. It's a very good pokemon and it always provides support to most teams, because it is one of the main counters to the pony that bothers us all, and has access to HP Fire to handle Steel types annoying to take down, such as Ferrothorn or Scizor. It also helps deal with special threats -always a problem for many teams- due to its great bulk. By the Special Side, it can hit hard way many Pokémon, can also run roost>for be more passive and dont lost that fast us hazard control.

Hey man, gratz on your 1800 peak! Your team is a great representation of a what a bulky offensive team should look like. A Tank with 2 Mons that form an interesting Volt-Turn core, seeing how most CM Raikou's carry Sub over Volt Switch. Aside from that statement.................
  • I do agree with above rate that mentions having shed shell on manaphy. Switching out on a Gothitelle is important because Manaphy doesn't appreciate having a Choice Scarf no matter what. Additionally, CM Rain Dance Manaphy has potential of breaking most balanced teams and even some stall teams when getting rid of their Clear Smog Amoonguss/Unaware Clefable.
  • Charizard X is scary pokemon that can just do a number to your team. It can set up on Mega Scizor and Raikou and just plow your team from there. Endure on Garchomp can hurt Zard X severely but, if it has Roost, it will just roost on a mon such as Raikou. Hippowdon>Garchomp can definitely help you with the Zard X and Diancie weakness, seeing how it takes 1 +1 Flare Blitz and Moonblast and just ohkoes both of them with Earthquake. While It doesn't beat most Bird Spam teams like TankChomp does, it does wall a specific bird better than Chomp used on bird spam: Talonflame. Garchomp doesn't have reliable recovery, while Hippowdon on the other hand does. I wouldn't consider Raikou an all out bird check just because it just loses after Talon sets up an SD.
Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Slack Off
  • While Hippo>Chomp does have a couple of upsides, it certainly does have a couple of down sides. It just makes you that much more susceptible to Gothitelle and Mew. Gothitelle can just come in at any time to Trick it's Choice Scarf crippling your Defensive Core for a powerful sweeper to come through, and Mew can just stall break the entirety of your team.
  • This is my last suggestion, but another thing you can do is go for SD Lum Chomp>Tank Chomp. Lum Swords Dance Garchomp is an excellent lead that is impervious to one status condition. Conserving your Lum Berry to ignore one Mew Will-O-Wisp and going for EQ would stop a huge threat to the team. Furthermore, this type of Garchomp does outspeed both Zard X and Mega Medicham, putting offensive pressure on both mons. It does make you even weaker to Zard X after it sets up a Dragon Dance, but Mew is definitely more of a problem if it can also solo your entire team.
Garchomp @ Lum Berry
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake

Conclusion: I think that this team is pretty good and you got most of the threats covered. These are just suggestions that you are free to use. Some of my suggestions may allow it to take care of certain threats but become more weak to others. Essentially, some ORAS games are so matchup reliant that there's really nothing you can do. Anyways, I hope I was able to help :]

Hey man, nice team. That really looks like a team I built a while ago, but I never considered CM Manaphy. I really like the idea.
450.png
>

is a great idea as stated above. That change also makes you less weak to sand offense. It also helps against stong electric types that threaten Manaphy.
I recommend running
381.png
>
380.png
, just because of the power Latios has, otherwise your team is a bit passive without immediate power. Roost > HP Fire is the better option here, otherwise Charizard Y threatens your team too much after Lati is weakend.
You should really watch out for Charizard Y + Pursuit TTar, after killing your Lati it is just so annoying to play against, because it takes your rain away.
Including Hippowdon made the team more passive so to make the team less passive and if you really want to mess up GothStall, try
248.png
(Scarf)>
243.png

It's really easy. Let Gothitelle switch into Manaphy, switch out, go to Tyranitar and use Pursuit.
Taking away wallbreaking capabilities leads to the following changed moveset on Manaphy:
490.png

Manaphy @ Shed Shell | Hydration
Timid 96 HP / 252 SpA / 160 Spe
Tail Glow / Ice Beam / Scald / Energy Ball

This set is not as bulky as the one you used, but indluding Hippowdon allows this shift towards offense. Energy Ball still keeps bulky waters in check, taking over Raikous job. Ice Beam to hit Latis. They are afraid to heal because you might trap them with Ttar. Trapping opposing Latis with Tyranitar allows you to remove them, taking away the opponents Manaphy check. Tyranitar is also an excellent check to Charizard, which you can try to Pursuit at low health too. Mew and Dragonite which you mentioned in your threatlist are also weak to Ttar. At low health you can take out Medicham too.

shui3 thanks for the recomendation to put hippo>chomp looks really good cause everyone told me, the idea of have manaphy shed shell dont look bad i added to the post, put T-tar>Raikou i dont see really nice cause the idea if have and electric type that can control thundurus and cant get twave and that help the Volt-turn core, Latias with Roost looks nice a will put in the post like an alternative and of course the idea of put latios well i just preffered latias for be a little bit bulk, thanks anyway!
