XY OU Volt turn team needs an Eeveelution

I know VoltTurn is so BW but I still love it! Sadly I have always struggled with it and taking hits.

with iron fist
Choice Scarf
Naive 252 Spe/64 SpA/188 Atk
Close combat
Thunder punch
Fire blast
U-turn

This is my lead and also my revenge killer. He starts off with U-turn and then we switch out from there so the games begin. Whenever something is knocked out this guy will come in for a speedy U-Turn again or the appropriate move.

Scizor with technician
Scizorite
Adamant 252 Atk/252 Spe/4 SpD
Bullet punch
Superpower
Roost
U-turn

Here is part one of my defensive core. I chose to go the mega evolution route because I preferred to have as few choice locked Pokémon as possible. Fairly standard and effective.

Rotom-W
Bold 252 HP/252 Def/4 SpD
Leftovers
Volt switch
Will o wisp
Pain split
Hydro pump

Part two of my defensive core. He is tried and true but I have often forgot to hydro pump when I could have. Beyond that though this has been a serious contender for my team.

Hydreigon
Timid 252 SpA/252 Spe/4 SpD
Assault vest
Draco Meteor
Dark pulse
U-turn
Surf/Hyper voice

Here is the heavy hitter on my team. Many scoff at him because of fairies but in the end he still has more than enough speed and power to be real threat. Many are confused by the AV but with his many resistances it makes sense and has proven to be a great fit on my team. Surf has had a tremendous effect in repelling Gliscor and Landorus but Hyper Voice could be cool depending on the Eeveelution I go with.

Greninja with protean
Naughty 252 Spe/88 Atk/168 SpA
Life Orb
Ice Beam
Grass Knot
U-turn
Extrasensory

This is my wild card and late game cleaner. Some folks dislike the extra attention to attack but it makes the sting for U-turn even more potent. I skipped a watertight attack because I already had two on the team plus grass not makes for a great surprise on certain water types. If I trade out Surf on Hydreigon I will use Scald or Surf. HP just doesn't have the right power to risk ratio after the nerf.

The problem with my team is that despite a decent amount of bulk it still struggles to take hits repeatedly. I need a dual screener and many of the screeners that have access to U-turn and volt switch just don't cut it. They are either just weak or weak to the same things as several members of my team. However I had an epiphany! Baton Pass! Now I am stuck on Espeon and Sylveon. One is fast and the other is bulky with a great type. This is where I need help.

Espeon with Magic Bounce
Timid 252 HP/252 Spe/4 Def
Light clay
Psychic
Reflect
Light Screen
Baton Pass

As I have researched this set was the staple of Espeon last gen and magic bounce almost put him in the uber category. EV's focus on speed and survival while screens and BP are the reason he is here. Psychoc is for STAB and handling Keldeo and Terrakion.

Sylveon (either ability)
Bold 252 HP/252 Def/4 SpD
Light clay
Reflect
Light Screen
Baton Pass
Moonblast/Hypervoice

Similar to Espeon but with better typing and bulk. The cost orb at is magic bounce and speed. I do believe a slow switch like Forretress is helpful but Sylveons defense is kind of low. I would love HyperVoice but this is an in game team and that move is move tutor move from bw2.

Basically the Eeveelutionsgo round and round but at least I get a fighting resist.

Hiya! Just want to let you know that you cannot post incomplete teams in this forum. Check out the RMT Rules here to find out more information.
As a sixth partner, arguably the best Dual Screens user this meta would have to be Klefki.
Klefki @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Spikes
- Foul Play/Play Rough
Prankster Klefki is great at setting up dual screens and hazards, and synergizes well with the rest of your team (mainly Hydreigon). The set emphasizes on increasing Klefki's defensive stats in order to allow it to set up Dual Screens without fail. Light Clay is used to maximize the duration of screens, and Prankster itself is a great ability to set up screens and Spikes. Spikes are a great stackable hazard that Klefki can take advantage of to hurt many Pokemon (it works especially well on this team, being as most of your team is offensive). Finally, Foul Play is simply at the end to punish physical attackers, although it can be replaced with Play Rough as a great STAB. Klefki can switch in on many attacks directed towards Hydreigon, whereas Hydreigon can switch in on an EQ aimed at Klefki and absorb any fire moves relatively well.

I'm sorry that I couldn't provide a full rate because of mobile stupidity, but I hope I helped! I'll be sure to check this out later if I have any more thoughts
Good luck on your team :]

I corrected my mistake. Klefki sounds interesting but it is missing that switching out move. That isn't terrible though so I could consider it. I was hoping to reduce my Infernape weakness though. What about Espeon vs Sylveon?

Between the two, Espeon is a better user of Dual Screens but is terribly predictable (it also adds on to your team's alarming bug weakness). I say Sylveon but I'm not sure how it would play out, because it's more suited towards being a cleric (although again Sylveon synergizes decently with Hydreigon). My advice is to try Sylveon and if it doesn't work, go for Espeon or Klefki.

I see what you are saying. Truth be told I was considering putting calm mind in place of Light Screen since it was sort of similar. At least the part about having damage from Special Attacks. The cool part would be the permanency but unlike light screen, if the recipient switched out the boost would go away unlike light screen. I like the speed on Espeon but I do have several fast pokemon so I can have a slower bulky model too. If only sylveon didn't look so supremely girly next to Hydreigon and Scizor. It's so bad it make Victini look macho.
