[OVERVIEW]
* Vulpix's niche lies in its Drought ability, which allows it to summon immediate sun and claim the very important niche of LC's best sun supporter.
* Due to its powerful sun-boosted Fire Blast and Grass-type coverage, Vulpix is also able to function as a decent special wallbreaker in addition to supporting sun teams.
* A decent Speed tier allows Vulpix to outpace a good portion of the meta, including common threats in Pawniard, Vullaby and unboosted Shellder.
* Thanks to its good Speed, Vulpix can also capitalize on its access to decent utility options in Will-O-Wisp, Toxic and Hypnosis.
* Unfortunately, Vulpix has extremely lackluster physical bulk, and as a result is very easy to offensively pressure.
* A weakness to Stealth Rock and to the tier's common Ground-type attacks makes it hard for Vulpix to consistently support its team throughout a match, which requires careful play in order to make full use of Vulpix.
