Waking Up

Eh, second RMT. I'm doing all this from my phone so sorry if it looks a little fucked up. But yeah, just wanna know what you think of this one. It's done me fairly well and I'm proud of it, it plays alot better than you think so try it out and lemme know what you think. Also, idk how to do spoilers so I'm not gonna put a team building process but I will put full description on everything.

Mawile (F) @ Mawilite
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 248 HP/ 252 Atk/8 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Play Rough
- Fire Fang

Thought I'd start with the mega of the team. God I cannot stress how much I love this thing. It can be a bitch when on another team but it's fucking amazing. This thing has gotten me out of so many situations and I've been down 4 at times and once I get an SD set up, it's all over. For the EV's, I put most of them in HP so I can retain a bulk. Its phys def isn't that bad. I can take an unboosted/non-banded E-Quake from almost everything, survive, setup and then sweep. (Unless you happen to have a Conkeldurr with E-Quake for some odd reason because someone did use that against me.) Sucker Punch rips through pokes with no priority and god it's OP as fuck. Play Rough is stab and destroys Dragons, Dark and Fighting, all of which don't phaze Mawile. Fire Fang is for coverage and destroys other Steel types, like Ferro and Skarm.

Synergy:
Fire - Heatran, Keldeo, Latios
Ground - Latios, Heatran (w/ balloon), Tornadus-T

Heatran (M) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SAtk/4 SDef/252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Fire Blast
- Flash Cannon
- Stealth Rock
- Roar Earth Power

Well... I already know what you're thinking. "His Heatran isn't specially defensive like everyone else. lolol what a dumb fucker" No. This Heatran works so well, you have to use it to see. Modest max spec attack to absolutely nuke things. Fire Blast nukes anything that comes in front of it with stab and max spec attack but a move with better accuracy could be used in replacement. Flash Cannon... Umm idk what I was thinking when I put this tbh... But I guess it was just for Fairies. Anyways, I'm probably just going to take it out for Earth Power. Stealth rocks are self explanatory, just a hazard. I chose Roar just because I needed someone with it and Heatran fit the description. Might take it out for Ancient Power for more coverage and chance of stat boosts, even if it is 10%. Inb4 "change Heatran to specially defensive" I'm probably not gonna.

Earth Power replaced for Roar (For now, still testing) so Heatran can of more use as a Special attacker. Still iffy on the choice, might change back.

Synergy:
Ground - Latios, Tornadus-T
Fighting - Latios, Tornadus-T
Water - Keldeo, Latios, Breloom

Breloom (F) @ Focus sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Spore
- Mach Punch
- Bullet Seed
- Rock Tomb

Breloom is my lead most the time, it can usually put something to sleep and take one or 2 things out in the process. Spore is to make pokes go night night. Bullet Seed is stab, breaks sashes and helps with water types. Rock Tomb is for flying types and incase I predict a switch, so it slows things down. I mean this is a standard set.

Synergy:
Fire - Heatran, Keldeo, Latios
Psychic - Heatran, Mawile, Latios
Ice - Keldeo, Heatran, Mawile
Poison - Heatran, Mawile
Flying - Heatran, Mawile
Fairy - Heatran, Mawile

Wow. Basically Heatran and Mawile wall Breloom's weaknesses.

featuredpokemon_tornadustherian.png

Tornadus-Therian (M) @Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 160 HP/96 Atk/252 Spd
Hasty Nature
- U-Turn
- Knock Off
- Superpower
- Hurricane

First off, you must think of me dumb for using this. Tornadus > Thundurus + Landorus? Prolly not in the long run but this thing... I love it. It offers me perfect utility. HP EV's to give me some bulk. Speed is maxed out to outspeed many, many things. With Hasty, it reaches 375 speed, which sadly still isn't enough to outspeed Greninja. *sigh* Attack EV's are just to give it that extra punch, esp when dealing with Chansey. With the attack EV's, I could knock off its Eviolite and then KO it with Superpower, unless for some bizarre reason it uses softboil after I knock off. U-Turn lets me scout out and keep momentum, and it pairs up perfect with Regenerator. Knock Off is for utility and helps out alot. Superpower also does lots of damage to things that is weak to fighting. Hurricane is only there because I like the confusion rate and BP. Aerial Ace could be a viable option too on replacement, and if you use AA, you should change the nature back to Jolly. Short story short, Tornadus is a boss. And oh, assault vest gives it alot of bulk. I went up against a Thundurus-I earlier, it used Thunderbolt with expert belt and only did 77% to Tornadus.

Synergy:
Ice - Heatran, Mawile, Keldeo
Rock - Heatran, Keldeo, Mawile, Breloom
Electric - Latios

keldeo_the_fourth_musketeer_by_xous54-d3gftyt.png

Keldeo-Resolute @ Choice Specs Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Hidden Power [Flying] Ice

Keldeo is honestly one of the best wallbreakers in the game, if not the best and can punch holes in any team. The EV's are maxed in spec attack and speed so it can hit as hard as it can and outspeed others under its speed. Hydro pump is a super hard hitting stab which can punch holes anything that doesn't resist it. Scald is for when I need the accuracy and it has a nice burn chance. Secret sword is another stab and is nice when dealing with dark types and Chansey and what not. HP Flying is for Venu and any grass type for that matter. Choice Specs are to hit ridiculously hard.

Gave it a choice scarf so it can be my revenge killer and changed HP Flying to Ice as Flying wouldn't dent Venu anyways without specs.
(Suggested by DracoNinja and big thanks for it)

Synergy:
Grass - Breloom, Latios, Heatran, Mawile, Tornadus-T
Electric - Latios
Flying - Heatran, Mawile
Fairy - Heatran, Mawile
Psychic - Heatran, Mawile, Latios

latios_by_kikiine-d3inhu2.png

Latios (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 SDef/252 SAtk/252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ground]

Latios is my dragon type and strangely doesn't have Defog. EV's let it hit hard and fast. Draco Meteor is a stab move that nukes anything that doesn't resist it, esp with Life Orb. Psyshock is another stab and it lets me demolish Mega Venu or any fighting/poison really. Thunderbolt is really just for coverage. Hideen Power ground... is a weird option but this thing gets walled by Heatran and Aegi and shit so I could do some damage with this. You can take it out and put in Surf/Defog/HP Fire or Fighting if you want but it's all personal preference.

Synergy:
Dark - Keldeo, Mawile, Breloom
Ice - Heatran, Mawile, Keldeo
Fairy - Mawile, Heatran
Ghost - Heatran, Mawile
Bug - Heatran, Mawile, Tornadus-T
Dragon - Mawile, Heatran

Well that's pretty much it. If you guys can try this team out too and lemme know what you think, that'd be great. I also seem to lose to people with a lower rank than me more than I lose to people with higher ranks than me. I win more against better people, not that rank means anything. But it's odd.

Problems/Threats:
Stealth Rocks - the only thing that really doesn't like rocks on my team is Tornadus-T, but it can heal back up with Regenerator quite easy, so no big deal.

Greninja - Every team I make always has a problem with this fucker. It outspeeds my whole team and my only answer to it is Mach Punch , or Mawile. But other than that, it wrecks me.

Thundurus - LO Thundurus will fuck me up. Nuff said.

I have no scarf. RK'ing is a little hard and it costs me some games sometimes.
Keldeo now has a scarf and is my Revenge killer.

I can't think of anything else that's a problem atm but I'll add to the list if I come across any or if any get pointed out.

Hey, received your pm on PO.

To fix your greninja weakness, you might want to try running Choice Scarf over specs on Keldeo. This gives you a solid revenge-killer as well as a better Greninja check since non-scarf keldeo is at the mercy of Extrasensory Greninja. You might also want to run HP Ice over flying now since flying doesn't do anything much to mega venu without specs raw power, while hp ice lets you beat weakened dragons such as dnite, mence, lati@s.

Fairly sure Earthquake does more damage than HP Ground (Correct me if I'm wrong), to Heatran/Tyranitar on Latios, so its worth trying that out.

Solid team, good luck laddering!

Looks like a great team. Love the idea of Assault Vest Tornadus-Therian, and overall great sets. There are only a few things I would change. First, Roar shouldn't be used on offensive Heatran. It would appreciated coverage like Earth Power much more as well as Eruption which hits so hard at max power. On Latios, Surf>Hidden Power Ground as Surf hits Hetran almost as hard and does more damage to Tyranitar, Landorus ( don't know why it would be in but whatever), and other threats. Hope this helps and good luck laddering.

Thanks for the help and rate and I tried the changes you made suggested. Appreciate it.

Thanks for the rate. I tried Heatran with EP and ehh, I'm not too sure about it. I'll keep it on for a bit more and see how I like it. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Okay so several things. Please ignore above post about scarf keldeo, it has nowhere near the same role specs keldeo has as a wallbreaker your team needs.
To begin with...,
uninvested assault vest is just....bad. Sorry to be so blunt but really, you only reach a total of a whopping 324 special defense. Smart greninjas will easily beat you. talonflame RKs you. Sorry but to run a poke supposed to be bulky and hit hard, yet you use a -Def nature, seems really redundant.
Anti-lead breloom+SR offensive tran will NOT work with the pokes you are trying to use, as you cannot cover all the common threats without drastically changing the team. Therefore i recommend switching breloom for a revenge killer of some sort. Talonflame, Scarfchomp, Scarfkion, whatever. just something that can RK common OU threats and ofc GRENINJA.
Sorry to be blunt, but some sets just don't make sense. To me, scarf keldeo is a cleaner and revenge killer, but you have nothing to wallbreak Special walls anyways (special walls won't stay in on mawile unless they are stupid TBH) so keldeo can't clean with scarf anyways. Both scarfchomp and scarfkion deal with thundurus as well, specifically scarfchomp due to it not being crippled by para. Therefore i would recommend scarfchomp
I am not discouraging assault vest tornadus-T, i am discouraging using it without any SDef investment.
Stone edge is best on SR tran as it can kill both talonflame and zardY. EP really will only hit other heatran. (even modest stone edge does more to charY then 252 modest ancientpower.)

Sorry if you think i trashed a little bit, i'm not trying to be mean, i'm trying to get a point across.
