[SET COMMENTS]
Eldegoss is a unique contender on the field with its ability Cotton Down which can slow an opponent exponentially. With Eldegoss's special defense of 120 and the move cotton guard, it can serve as a primarily physical wall. Physical attackers (similar to aegislash or dracovish) lacking a super effective move are often fully countered by Eldegoss after one cotton guard, almost guaranteeing an opportunity to hit a switch in with a sleep powder or leech seed. Depending on which moves you are running, you could try a substitute / sleep powder combo as opponent's speed can fall to outrageous depths. Unfortunately, sleep powder is unreliable at best, having only a 75% accuracy and an inability to affect grass types. This also leaves Eldegoss, who is reliant on a source of healing, with only giga drain as a health-restoring move. Typically, eldegoss will use a cotton guard after surviving an opponent's attack and subsequently synthesis to regain health. If sleep powder misses, then you are put into a very unfavorable position. However, sleep powder and substitute allow eledgoss to handle special attackers more easily, as putting them to sleep allows eldegoss some time to recover and build up its defense. On top of that, eldegoss only has one attacking move that will often not prove to be enough in battle. If Eldegoss is unable to hit an enemy hard enough, it may use all of its synthesis PP and be left with no way to recover other than leech seed or giga drain, which often isn't enough to stay alive.

Eldegoss has no other viable options.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Super Effective Special Attackers**: Even with an impressive special defense of 120, eledgoss is unable to survive multiple hits from moves like ice beam, flamethrower, and air slash. If eldegoss cannot pull off a sleep powder, it is forced to switch out after one attack, or less frequently KO'd.

**Toxic** Getting toxic'ed is probably the most annoying thing that can happen to an eldegoss. With its limited use of synthesis, it is effectively put on a timer and its effectiveness on the field lessens for each turn.

Hi, you didn’t reserve Eldegoss, nor is it on the Viability Rankings that we use to actually reserve Pokemon. Therefore, I’m locking this.
