Want Go-Goggles? (Remake)

I'm reposting this team (of course there has been changes, that's why I'm reposting) because it's my most successful team to date, which happens to apply to every single team that is not bullshit. I'm No.GoAway, and if you've battled me before you should know that I constantly rage about hax (but more so in OU). And Ditto, because Dittos are a cheap excuse not to carry a counter to many Pokemon. CHANGES WILL BE BOLDED.

So let's get down to it:

248.gif

Tyranitar @ Lum Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SDef > 252 HP / 76 Atk / 180 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk > Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Crunch
- Superpower
- Pursuit
- Stealth Rock

This is the standard T-tar, and I don't need to run Sassy to get the weather up since Kyogre and Groudon outspeed me unless they are holding Macho Brace/Iron Ball and all Abomasnows are Sassy or Scarfed. Pursuit allows me to beat Kyogre even more easily to punish them for spamming Ice Beam at my Latias, dealing 40%+ if they switch out. Crunch allows me to bring Deoxys-S down to 1 HP and take it out with sand, and Crunch is just a STAB move since Dark is a good offensive type in Ubers, considering the large number of Psychics and Ghost types. Superpower is for coverage since Dark/Fighting is resisted by shit that are rarely if ever seen in Ubers. I chose it over Low Kick and Lum Berry > Lefties to beat Darkrai leads since Low Kick doesn't OHKO and Darkrai's Focus Blast doesn't OHKO while I can absorb the Dark Void with Lum. Lum also allows me to absorb at least one Sacred Fire from Ho-oh and setup Stealth Rock to get rid of its screwed up Regenerator. And Stealth Rock allows me to weaken Kyogre further and it's an entry hazard which is inconvenient to pack on my other teammates, though T-tar normally doesn't get it up till mid-game because of Uber's generally offensive nature. The EVs allow me to get the OHKO on Darkrai. I get 2 more Atk points and 1 more SDef points as compared to 252 HP / 116 Atk / 140 SDef with Careful.

Excadrill @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

If I'm using weather, I might as well use an abuser, and an abuser as good as Excadrill is just an obvious choice, considering it gets Rapid Spin, which is an ultra-rare move. Swords Dance is also an obvious choice considering how easily Excadrill sweeps under sand. Earthquake is for STAB, while I chose Rock Slide > Iron Head since I rarely see Grasseus and Giratina-O generally lacks recovery so I can weaken it easily. The EVs maximise power and speed since Excadrill is rather frail anyway.

649.gif

Genesect @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Download
EVs: 100 Atk / 184 SAtk / 224 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- U-turn
- Iron Head
- Ice Beam
- Flamethrower

Genesect came to my team when I was looking for something to reliably revenge all Rayquazas. Palkia does not enjoy taking a +2 Extremespeed from SDRay, so I chose Genesect. Genesect counters so many things, considering that it's an OU pokemon and is short of the 100s speed tier. U-turn allows me to scout or threaten to deal heavy damage when unresisted, such as 2HKOing Kyogre at +1 (of course I'm forced out after U-turn), while Iron Head allows me to OHKO Kyurem-W after 2 turns of SS damage. Ice Beam revenge kills Rayquaza and deal heavy damage to most dragons, while Flamethrower is for Forry, Ferrothorn and Skarm. The EVs allow me to outspeed +1 Ray, and at +1 OHKO Mewtwo after Stealth Rock and always OHKO Latias, while the rest is in SAtk.

598.gif

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Leech Seed
- Spikes
- Protect
- Gyro Ball

Ferrothorn is here to wall, and it's a backup Kyogre wall in case Latias goes down, since by that time Kyogre should already be too weak to 2HKO. Leech Seed and Protect allows me to stall for HP recovery, and wall Kyogre to hell and back, unless it's Mono-attacker, in which case it's time for Latias to set up. Spikes is for Spikestacking. Gyro Ball since hax generally goes against me except when it's useless, so Power Whip just misses, and things set up. Also I never see Tentacruel and Hippowdon, while Groudon threatens me and Kyogre is walled.

493.gif

Arceus-Ghost @ Spooky Plate
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Recover
- Judgment
- Flamethrower
- Will-O-Wisp

Ghostceus is a recent addition to my team over Twin Phazer Giratina. It's here as an EKiller counter and spinblocker. I'm using this because it's much faster and can get the WoW off first, while getting Flamethrower to roast the shit things I mentioned earlier. Judgement is for STAB and Recover is for, well, recovery. The EVs maximise my speed and bulk. Also I can't find its sprite so...

380.gif

Latias @ Soul Dew
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 112 HP / 204 SAtk / 192 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Dragon Pulse
- Substitute
- Roost

No team can work without a Kyogre counter, meaning Latias / Palkia / Kingdra / Gastrodon / Grasseus / Ferrothorn and Chansey sucks coz it's derpy and walls like everything. Basically I chose Latias because it gets recovery, while Gastrodon is dead weight usually and Grasseus is unreliable. Also Latias is super fast and can outspeed Chomp, which helps. I'm using CM SubRoost because I'm tired of random shit paralysing me and then I can't Refresh due to parahax. Also now I can set up on Ferrothorn and avoid being revenge killed once, which could be enough considering Latias' good speed. Don't underestimate this beast, it could sweep teams. The EVs allow me to outspeed Garchomp, while OHKOing Palkia (idk why) and the rest is dumped into HP to maximise bulk.

Rate it, steal it (and luvdisc) and idk. But if you recommend a change please explain and I apologise in advance if I come across as harsh when stating why I should not change.

You have 3 fire weak pokemon, and one fire resist. I know that sand usually has an easy time with sun teams, but do you ever have problems with random fire attacks? Also, you have no counter to Extreme Arceus, who is just as important a pokemon to prepare for as Kyogre. Have you considered giving Ferrothorn 252 Def and a boosting nature? That's enough for it to tank Brick Break at +2. So basically, your two biggest weaknesses, imo, are Arceus and Fire.

I actually have 2 fire resists and both are special walls. However thanks for reminding me about that since Blaziken now poses a threat and I have to like rely on playing around it. Also I outspeed Ekiller and burn it with Ghostceus and Ferrothorn currently takes a +2 Brick Break anyway.

Hi lousy, nice remake.

I first want to say that you made a great change by changing Tyranitar's nature and EVs to what you have right now; KOing with Superpower can actually be big.

As you said yourself, your team is extremely weak to Blaziken; Latias is the only one who can take it and even then, +2 Flare Blitz will hurt you badly. Opposing Excadrill are also extremely troublesome for you, as Latias is your only Ground immunity and she is smacked by Iron Head.

A simple change that fixes both of your problems is changing Ghost Arceus to Giratina. Giratina is an extremly solid wall and is one of the best counters to Blaziken thanks to its typing; Giratina is also capable of phazing Blaziken, racking up entry hazards damage on it. By changing Ghost Arceus to Giratina you're not giving up on your Extreme Killer check, and you also have a nice check to Genesect with Tyranitar (that can easily shrug a +1 Ice Beam coming towards Giratina).
Giratina @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SDef
Impish Nature
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Will-O-Wisp
- Roar / Dragon Tail

However, Giratina doesn't really solve your Excadrill weakness despite its enormous bulk. With Giratina on the team, and with Latias already in it, I suggest changing Ferrothorn for Skarmory. Skarmory grants you a secondary check to Arceus and it can also poison Calm Mind forms of Arceus, that think they can setup all over Skarmory. Skarmory is a phenomenal check to Excadrill who can't do anything to it back, and even if it does crit or something, Skarmory can easily Roost it off.
Skarmory @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Impish Nature
- Roost
- Spikes
- Whirlwind
- Toxic

To finish, I suggest changing Substitute to Psyshock on Latias so you will have a much easier time versus Arceus-Fighting.

Good Luck!
