Sinistcha @ Covert Cloak
Ability: Heatproof
Level: 50
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 244 HP / 244 Def / 4 SpA / 12 SpD / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Matcha Gotcha
- Iron Defense
- Strength Sap
A big favorite, the real one may or may not be the next mon, but this is it or close at least. CC was used throughout H, and should be restored to former glory vs. Pao(generally live Icicle Crash even w/o tera iirc.) It is good safety, and synergizes w/ ghost typing preventing trapping(CC won't block fire spin, idk why..._) EVs mostly max the best category for maxing(base SpA>Def, but I think this needs Bold,) w/ some SpD just for BM in some cases, and a point in Spe and SpA. Heatproof gives a shot into Koraidon, and is ofc the only singles ability. It can be funny into like Blaziken for ex. Dark WAS great, likely going back to electric this reg like before, thoughts? Normal enough STABs, though originally had Scald for legend meta(Zacian and pao mainly, though DNite ofc fears burn normally...) but for now am keeping this. Hard choice, I like more burn and acc ofc. Iron Def can keep up w/ non critting SD unlike Sap, and has saved me a number of times. This just isn't specially bulky enough to set CMs imo, even w/ their SpD boost. Sap seems obligatory, and even if they do SDs a well timed one before Iron Defences can work kinda. It has even got some Zacians doing this. This mon has been mostly good, I feel like recently I've been getting more out of Farigiraf and maybe Craw.

Crawdaunt @ Focus Sash
Ability: Adaptability
Level: 50
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 116 HP / 244 Atk / 12 Def / 4 SpD / 132 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Crabhammer
- Knock Off
- Tera Blast
My other big favorite. Just...so much is beat up horribly by this. Less w/o cb, but I feel, esp. in this meta, sash is good for this. Also I often need to change moves. This has 3-0d some teams, and ground really helps for Miraidon. The EVs are for uninvested 70s iirc, and some bulk for various loaded dice scale shots, even w/ sash. I really like the sheer damage on this mon, since tera can flip match ups, but they still take a lot resisted, and generally a ton neutral(so I would likely Crabhammer a Caly S for ex.) This used to be flying tera for Koraidon, but I feel like Miraidon keeps one upping that(due to STAB on the field effect boosted move.) I started using this for ohkoing Hippo/Ting-Lu w/ CB. Now it needs crits for those, but I think sash is still fine for now. Overall, quite interested in keeping this. It mostly deletes slower stuff, or cripples it for the next one, and has priority and what not.

Farigiraf @ Assault Vest
Ability: Armor Tail
Level: 50
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 28 SpA / 228 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Twin Beam
- Dazzling Gleam
- Shadow Ball
- Mirror Coat
I used Frosmoth in the first go of reg g, but I kept this over from H because they both compete for AV and...well I think I just wanted to try it, but I'm not really disappointed. It gets Caly S even better than the moth(both lose if it's cm, so that's not a point in favor of moth either,) and is pretty mean into Miraidon too. I haven't had a Kyogre fight, but it should Mirror Coat that away, too. Twin Beam...could be Psychic. I'm not really sure. Gleam gets dragons and things like that. A greedy Kor may not want to take big recoil, and then I'm immune to Dragon. Fairy tera also helps w/ the two natural weaknesses. Shadow Ball hurts Caly S and is coverage. I mainly picked this due to trouble w/ BM and Arch(it can take Tera BM, or even switch in on Electro shot into Draco from non tera Arch.) Armor Tail has helped a few times, though it'd need flying not fairy to really cash in on most DNite, still, there's BM's Vacuum and a few things like that. Sinistcha is my spore immune, so I didn't feel the need for Sap Sipper.

Zacian @ Rusted Sword
Ability: Intrepid Sword
Level: 50
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 188 HP / 140 Atk / 4 Def / 12 SpD / 164 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Tera Blast
- Trailblaze
- Close Combat
- Iron Head
I got this set from a friend, but I forget why I'm using it. Although it's pretty good, and I esp. like Trailblaze. I sticked w/ ground because I mostly fear Miraidon, and it seems like good coverage. I'm told the dragons like to tera on Zacian, hence no Play Rough. Oh, now that I really think about it, this is one of the few restricted properly good into pao, which I dislike. I also like the toxic immunity, as Glimmora can be kinda gross.

Primarina @ Leftovers
Ability: Liquid Voice
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Modest Nature
- Moonblast
- Substitute
- Psychic Noise
- Calm Mind
I'm not at all sold on this, but I put it for Glis mainly. I'd noticed belatedly I took out my only answer(uh, it was...idk probably not good though, and I forgot.) This should also get Dozo, which takes any Zacian np. In reality I just don't bring this much. Sub is for Pex and Dozo's Fissure, and I'm using HA w/ noise for their heals. I put electric on a whim for Mir, seemed to have enough ground, and that keeps the grass weakness.

Sneasler @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Unburden
Level: 50
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 12 HP / 228 Atk / 4 Def / 12 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dire Claw
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Switcheroo
I can't find real reasoning for this, though I do love Switcheroo/trick if not expected(I feel people mainly expect it off Rotoms, idk I do.) It absorbs Glimm's debris, but lots can do that, and this will only ohko ever terad(I left tera default, can't decide.) Anyways, it has been fairly helpful, like U-Turn(or anything, but I'd rather switch w/ attack in case they switch manually) on Meow, faster than its possible scarf. And Dire Claw's hax. This is good into Ogerpon, I'm not sure I have that much for that. EVs are max/max mostly, w/ Atk emphasized cause scarf and 130 being >120, w/ some bulk for Glimm's Earth Power(attacks other than CC are kinda crap into it, but I suppose I'd trick it anyway...) I really like that trick from this isn't expected, since it is usually looking to use up an item(I kept unburden anyways for if I get a disposable one.)
I'm not doing good or esp bad yet, but early days. I really don't like CM Caly-s I think, a fully offensive one might be fine. Uh I have played several games, but all together and not for a bit, so I forget the weak points pretty much.
