Warstory: An early battle between BLs.

Yeah, first Smogon warstory, so bitch if ye must.

Either way, this battle was held when I got Shoddy downloaded, and so was among one of my earliest battles, and this one was one of my fave ones, merely due to one incident.

Fishy's Fighters: Empoleon, Magmortar, Mismagius, Sceptile, Honchkrow(not used), Aerodactyl(not used).

McGill's(opponent) Monsters: Aerodactyl, Mamoswine, Empoleon, Houndoom, Shedinja, Rhyperior.

Excuse the line spacing, my Word system seems to think that having spaces wide enough to shove a penis into is a good thing for writing fan fiction and war stories.

Rules: Evasion Clause, Freeze Clause, OHKO Clause, Sleep Clause, Timed Battle
fishyfool sent out Empoleon (lvl 100 Empoleon ?).
McGill sent out Aerodactyl (lvl 100 Aerodactyl ?).
Aerodactyl is exerting its pressure!

Expecting this thing to pack EQ, I take Empoleon’s defense investments to granted and decide to set up some rocks as Empy’s bulky enough to take a hit.

McGill switched in Mamoswine (lvl 100 Mamoswine ?).
Empoleon used Stealth Rock.
Pointed stones float in the air around your foe's team!

This could be a bit of a danger, since Mamo gets STAB, has more attack AND is a great big fucking pig. I have a trick up my sleeve, though...

Mamoswine used Curse.
Mamoswine's speed was lowered.
Mamoswine's attack was raised.
Mamoswine's defence was raised.
Empoleon used Yawn.
Mamoswine became drowsy

And so I really become a bit worried: Should it still outrun after that Curse, Empy’s as good as dead. So my best bet is to try and sub up before the assrape.

Empoleon used Substitute.
Empoleon lost 25% of its health.
Empoleon made a substitute!
Mamoswine used Earthquake.
It's super effective!
A critical hit!
The substitute took damage for Empoleon!
Empoleon's substitute faded!
Empoleon's leftovers restored its health a little!
Mamoswine fell asleep!

Were that to hit, Empy would be dead without a doubt. I decide to take advantage of the situation and switch in my Scarfed Magmortar to try and get in a few kills while the piggy sleeps.

fishyfool switched in Magmortar (lvl 100 Magmortar ?).
Mamoswine is fast asleep!

Anticipating Flamethrower, McGill switches out for his Houndoom. Sadly for him, this ugly fucker runs a physical-heavy moveset, and you know what that means...

Pointed stones dug into Houndoom.
Houndoom lost 25% of its health.
Magmortar used Cross Chop.
It's super effective!
Houndoom lost 118% of its health.
McGill's Houndoom failed at life.

6-5 fishy
CC hits for the kill, and I take the lead, though he doesn’t know that CC’s all I can do. McGill takes a leaf from my book and slots up his Empoleon, which with that Steel point, I assume Cross Chop can take out. If not, then the score’s even.
McGill switched in Empoleon (lvl 100 Empoleon ?).
Pointed stones dug into Empoleon.
Empoleon lost 6% of its health.
Magmortar used Cross Chop.
It's super effective!
Empoleon lost 59% of its health.
Empoleon used Surf.
It's super effective!
Magmortar lost 100% of its health.
Empoleon's leftovers restored its health a little!

Jew WHAT? Without a Focus Sash, and yet Maggy STILL lived? Seems luck was on my side here, and there would be no doubt that Maggy would die from just about anything. Still, I had the speed.

fishyfool: WTF? 100% health loss and it lived?
fishyfool: LOL!
McGill: ???
McGill: i got cheated =L
Magmortar used Cross Chop.
It's super effective!
Empoleon lost 63% of its health.
McGill's Empoleon was snapped into pieces.

Pointed stones dug into Mamoswine.
Mamoswine lost 12% of its health.

Mamoswine is fast asleep!
Magmortar used Cross Chop.
It's super effective!
Mamoswine lost 65% of its health.
Mamoswine's leftovers restored its health a little!

Disappointed with the damage that CC did there, but at least I know she has Ice Shard, which inevitably means...

Mamoswine woke up!
Mamoswine used Ice Shard.
It's not very effective...
Magmortar lost 18% of its health.
fishyfool's Magmortar looked into the mirror and had a seizure from the shock of her face.
Mamoswine's leftovers restored its health a little!

5-4 fishy.
Maggy did her job well, and so it’s time to sweep with the rest of my team. I opt to go with Mismagius first, though.

Aerodactyl lost 10% of its health.
Mismagius used Will-o-wisp.

Aerodactyl was hurt by its burn!

Mismagius is basically dead, but that burn allows whoever comes out next to finish this bird, and as predicted...

Aerodactyl used Ice Fang.
Mismagius lost 28% of its health.
fishyfool's Mismagius fizzled out of existence.
Aerodactyl lost 10% of its health.
Aerodactyl was hurt by its burn!

4-3 fishy.
Missy dies, while Aero struggles by with about half his health left in him. Time to end this bird.

Aerodactyl lost 72% of its health.
McGill's Aerodactyl was sent back to prehistory.
Empoleon's leftovers restored its health a little!

4-2 fishy.
Empy would be dead were it not for that burn. He’s only 2 Pokémon left against my 4, but they could be TTar or something like that...

McGill switched in Shedinja (lvl 100 Shedinja).
Pointed stones dug into Shedinja.
Shedinja got exorcised by SR, bitch!

4-1 fishy.
...McGill’s reaction gives a perfect example of his opinion on this move.

McGill: oops
McGill: forgot about stealth rock
McGill switched in Rhyperior (lvl 100 Rhyperior ?).
Pointed stones dug into Rhyperior.

Rhyperior lost 44% of its health.
Rhyperior used Earthquake.
It's super effective!
Empoleon lost 84% of its health.
fishyfool's Empoleon fell down flat on his beak.
Rhyperior's leftovers restored its health a little

3-1 fishy.
...and realise that Surf would have been better, but shit happens. As it also happens, it’s time to finish this as I send in my little Sextile, infamous for being a situational staller. Here’s why...

fishyfool switched in Sceptile (lvl 100 Sceptile ?).
Sceptile used Attract.
Rhyperior had a boner for Sceptile!
Rhyperior is in love with foe Sceptile!
Rhyperior used Substitute.
Rhyperior lost 25% of its health.
Rhyperior made a substitute!

fishyfool: gg.
Sceptile used Energy Ball.
It's super effective!
Rhyperior lost 102% of its health.
McGill's Rhyperior got ‘phylled’ with lead.
fishyfool wins!
McGill: GG
McGill: dam stealth rock
McGill: =D

3-0 fishy.
Energy Ball does the trick, as my other two Pokémon (whose names evade me at this moment) sit in the sidelines.

Props:

-Empoleon for setting up SR and getting in a couple of kills.
-Magmortar for haxing out on that Surf and demolishing a good chunk of his team.
-Sceptile for finishing the fight.
-McGill for being sporting to the very end of the battle.

Slops:

-Shedinja for dying without doing anything, and a lesson to all to always have a spinner if you’re using sheddy.
-Maggy for not dying from Surf and making the battle more epic.
-Houndoom for his shitty ability to survive physical hits.
-MS Word for adding a great big fucking useless ton of fucking shitty space and time wasting with a bollocking of right in the edges of the fucking action.

Also saying that 2 Pokemon are not used at the beggining of your story makes it terrible as you now know who won, and probably in a definitive matter.

Fishy's Fighters: Empoleon, Magmortar, Mismagius, Sceptile, Honchkrow(not used), Aerodactyl(not used).

Thanks for the heads up, I couldn't have figured that out from your prediction-less brawl fest of a match on my own.

Really... why tell us that a pokemon (two in this case) were not used? That basically eliminates the whole point of reading the "story"

I mean would you read a book if the first page was the ending? Well, hopefully you answered no... that is essentially what you did.

Well I don't mean to be harsh but all in all you should have left the tags on so I could have avoided reading this monstrousity.

Attract on Sceptile is what sold it.

EDIT: Kira I can relate to your story. I read a book called something like "The boy and the sea" and all it was was about a boy and the sea. Well hell if I knew the title was actually just the book summarized in a sentence i wouldnt have bought it >=(

The boy and the sea? Is that some sequel to the old man and the sea?

In any case it seems both books sucked... Though I have only read the latter.

This was not an amazing warstory. There was no great prediction or anything and a lot of the commentary is pretty obvious. Some Pokemon are kept in when it isn't the best decision and both players made some obvious mistakes.
I think this could have been a lot better with a different battle that was more interesting and better play.
