(Argh >.< I had just finished writing this and hit preview, only to realize that I had been logged off for some reason. Time to hit the "Remember Me" Check box from now on >.< It frustrates me, oh well... time to rewrite it)
Ok, I'm kind of new to the D/P metagame. Usually when I begin to battle it's like... I get nervous and angsty and make some stupid moves. AT first... then I concentrate a bit more and get a bit more in the battle and use better moves. Commonly (the reason why I make stupid moves) is because I ask myself, "Is this guy a newb? Or an expert?" therefore, it takes me a while to know, and when I realize... expert... then I begin playing differently. Anyhow... this is kind of like a Warstory... that just blah. ;-; You'll eventually see what happened at the end. As some of you may or may not know, I don't really own a DS. So the only way I could battle would be through... Shoddy >_>
Ok... I'll post teams at the end just to make things more interesting. Also, this is my first Warstory (with a tragic end, but blah):
Turn 1: And so it begins
Muggy sent out Ninjask.
Hypnotist sent out Smeargle.
Ninjask used Substitute.
Ninjask lost 25% of its health.
Ninjask made a substitute!
Smeargle used Switcheroo.
But it failed!
Ninjask's Speed Boost raised its speed!
Ninjask's speed was raised.
Ok, as you may have known at the beginning... I've got to write this again. ._. Ah well. So anyhow, the battle begins here. I sent out Smeargle and he sent out Ninjask. I was pretty angsty I guess and just did a Switcheroo move >.< I figured the Ninjask was going to use Substitute too. For some reason... bah I don't know. It was just a stupid mistake I made. :( Though, by doing that I figured the opponent would then think I might do something else that stupid... or rather if I switch out or something... well... point is... he's going to use Swords Dance based on how everything looks. If I stay in, it won't help. If I switch out... well... he can't predict what I'll switch too, so he'll just continue along with his strategy (which would be to Swords Dance next) so I switched.
Turn 2: And so it continues
Hypnotist switched in Skarmory.
Ninjask used Swords Dance.
Ninjask's attack was sharply raised.
Ninjask's Speed Boost raised its speed!
Ninjask's speed was raised.
I was right, he did indeed use Swords Dance. Anyhow, I've got Skarmory out. Which helps a lot. Fearing Magnezone, I decided to use Whirlwind, which would be the best option. If he has a Magnezone, he would send it in and trap me. If he doesn't, then the next thing he'll most likely do is switch. If he stays in, then that doesn't help him at all. So I just used Whirlwind.
Turn 3: Y halo thar Marowak
Ninjask used Swords Dance.
Ninjask's attack was sharply raised.
Skarmory used Whirlwind.
Muggy switched in Marowak.
So he decided to stay in. Probably thinking I was going to use Spikes. Or it could be that he figured that there was nothing else to do since I would Whirlwind anyways. So he just stayed. Now I've got Marowak, which isn't really a threat at all :) Still, now that I've whirlwinded, he probably thinks I'll use Spikes now. He'll take advantage of this by switching to something that's more threatening. Knowing this, I used Whirlwind once again.
Turn 4: Ninetales and Starmie, 2 New Pokemon in 1 Turn
Muggy switched in Ninetales.
Skarmory used Whirlwind.
Muggy switched in Starmie.
Turns out I was right. He switched in Ninetales. Now if Ninetales had stayed... I would've been done for (perhaps). He would've Hypnotized my Skarmory or whatever switches in. Posing a very big threat. So it's a good thing I saw this, and Whirlwinded away. Now it's Starmie I have to deal with ._. But Starmie's more predictable. Obviously, it'll use Thunderbolt.
Turn 5: Meet Rose, my Roserade
Hypnotist switched in Roserade.
Starmie used Thunderbolt.
It's not very effective...
Roserade lost 13% of its health.
Roserade is paralysed! It may be unable to move!
Roserade's Black Sludge restored a little health!
Roserade restored 6% of its health.
Woah, I did not notice I had been Paralyzed until now. >.> I should really be more alert to this type of stuff. *Sigh* Shoddy battle really has a lot of wall-o-texts which was why I didn't realize this. Ah, well, all the more reason to be more alert to this type of stuff. Anyhow. Now I figured that he would use Ice Beam. Honestly this one was a bit hard to deal with. If it used Ice Beam, I don't know how much damage Roserade would take. So it was either Energy Ball, or Leech Seed and switch out.
Turn 6: Roserade <3
Starmie used Ice Beam.
It's super effective!
Roserade lost 52% of its health.
Roserade used Energy Ball.
It's super effective!
Starmie lost 99% of its health.
Roserade's Black Sludge restored a little health!
Roserade restored 6% of its health.
I find it interesting how Roserade can be male. >.> Well apparently, I decided to take the risk. I didn't know how much damage I would take from Ice Beam but now I do. :) And it do as much as I thought it would. On the other hand... Energy Ball did a crap load of more damage to Starmie than Ice Beam did to me. Ok, I take it back, Ice Beam did put a dent on my Roserade, the next turn, I might just faint. Knowing this, I decided to switch, I would much rather keep my Roserade alive which can help me out later. Starmie's way faster and would go first and Ice Beam me.
Turn 7: The Switch
Muggy switched in Dragonite.
Hypnotist switched in Mantine.
Wow, he decided to switch too. Interesting... ok, I assume he feared that I might survive the Ice Beam and then KO him with an Energy Ball. I guess he wants Starmie to stay alive and so he switched out. Hmm... *shrugs*. Though now I've got Dragonite to deal with. I figured that he would switch out. So techniquely, although I have Ice beam at my disposal, I shouldn't use it and use Toxic instead. Hmm... I was unsure... :(
Turn 8: I went with Ice Beam D=
Muggy switched in Dusknoir.
Dusknoir is exerting its pressure!
Mantine used Ice Beam.
Dusknoir lost 15% of its health.
Dusknoir's leftovers restored a little health!
Dusknoir restored 6% of its health.
Woops... *sigh* I knew I should've gone with Toxic. Oh well. Ice beam didn't make a dent on Dusknoir. I figured he would use Will-o-Wisp... so I just decided to switch. Though now that I think about it I would've been better off with Toxic. ._. I guess it was just another angsty move, fearing he might use a Physical Move on Mantine. Bah... ah well. Then again not really... actually, now that I remember, I saw this as an opportunity to use Synthesis on Roserade (who would be unaffected by WoW thanks to Natural Cure and the fact that it leans more to the special side).
Btw, Dusknoir was the last piece of the puzzle! I now present you with the opponent's team
Muggy's Team:
Turn 9: Roserade returns!
Hypnotist switched in Roserade.
Dusknoir used Will-o-wisp.
Dusknoir's attack missed!
Dusknoir's leftovers restored a little health!
Dusknoir restored 6% of its health.
Roserade's Black Sludge restored a little health!
Roserade restored 6% of its health.
Ok, so I was right, he did use Will-o-Wisp... and he missed too. If he had hit though, it wouldn't really have been so bad :) I would just switch out or something.
Turn 10: Time to Heal!
Roserade used Synthesis.
Roserade restored 50% of its health.
Dusknoir used Will-o-wisp.
Dusknoir's attack missed!
Dusknoir's leftovers restored a little health!
Dusknoir restored 6% of its health.
Woah-ho-ho... he missed yet again. How unfortunate of him. Ah well... I took advantage of this time and used Synthesis to heal back the HP I lost against Starmie. :) Now what will he do? I think he will just keep trying or switch. Either way... he has something coming.
Turn 11: Leech Seed'd
Roserade used Leech Seed.
Dusknoir was seeded!
Dusknoir used Will-o-wisp.
Dusknoir's attack missed!
Dusknoir's health was sapped by leech seed!
Dusknoir lost 12% of its health.
Roserade regained health!
Roserade restored 11% of its health.
Leech Seed'd. He missed WoW three times in a row! O.o That's got to be a record, very annoying, probably. I just decided to attack, Roserade has a better Sp. Attack than Mantine, so She'd do more damage. But Obviously, he would switch and I didn't take that into account. >_> Oh well, actually, it was the best move at the moment so w/e :)
Turn 12: Ninjask returns
Muggy switched in Ninjask.
Roserade used Energy Ball.
It's not very effective...
Ninjask lost 20% of its health.
Ninjask's Speed Boost raised its speed!
Ninjask's speed was raised.
A Ninjask. So he returns... I was quite frightened to be honest at this point. At least I made a dent on Ninjask... but here's where my angstiness gets the better of me and things start to go down-hill. Seeing Ninjask, I immediately deduced that (due to my previous encounter) that he deduced that I would switch to Skarmory. That's why he switched to Ninjask. I figured if that was the case, what happened before would be repeated (him switching to Ninetales) all in one turn. But... as I said before, my angstiness got the better of me... I just... switched. I didn't know if he was capable of strategizing that yet (once again, whether he was newb, regular or expert). So I figured I'd go for it. >.<
Turn 13: The Second Switch
Muggy switched in Ninetales.
Hypnotist switched in Skarmory.
This would've never happened if I had gone with my first instinct and switched to something that could go against Ninetales (I had something). >.< D'oh. Ok... well I need Skarmory to stay awake to help withstand Physical Moves. Though I just for some reason predicted a Flamethrower instead. I saw the possibility of it coming and just acted out of that idea. Not the best move. Ah well. The more obvious one was Hypnosis, but for some reason I felt the need to switch to something that withstands Flamethrower instead. >.< Bad idea. I begin to be a bit more hasty I suppose.
Turn 14: Ninetales makes its Debut!
Hypnotist switched in Ninetales.
Ninetales used Hypnosis.
Ninetales fell asleep!
Ok, bad idea, bad prediction. I could've switched to Smeargle, who wasn't really helping at all (blah, I should remove him especially since I now realize that Switcherooing Choice Scarf does not work just yet... oh well). Oh well, I decided from here to switch to something that would resist Special attacks.
Turn 15: A Special Wall named Mantine
Hypnotist switched in Mantine.
Ninetales used Nasty Plot.
Ninetales's special attack was sharply raised.
Nothing special here I guess, I just switched to Mantine who can take Special hits.
Turn 16: Time to begin a-hazing
Ninetales used Energy Ball.
Mantine lost 22% of its health.
Mantine used Haze.
Mantine's leftovers restored a little health!
Mantine restored 6% of its health.
I made a mistake here. I should've just used Toxic. Though... I guess I just didn't know what type of damage to expect. I now know so I will be using Toxic now. I figured that after one Nasty Plot, Ninetale's Energy Ball might do a lot of damage to Mantine. So I went with Haze and Toxic afterwards. What he's going to do next? I don't know... but Toxic helps either way.
Turn 17: Alcohol Entoxication
Muggy switched in Dusknoir.
Dusknoir is exerting its pressure!
Mantine used Toxic.
Dusknoir was badly poisoned!
Dusknoir's leftovers restored a little health!
Dusknoir restored 6% of its health.
Dusknoir is hurt by poison!
Dusknoir lost 6% of its health.
Mantine's leftovers restored a little health!
Mantine restored 6% of its health.
Toxic helped in the end I guess. I was going to attempt something new now though. So I switched. I never realized how logical my moves were though... >.> here I thought I was just being angsty.
Turn 18: Smeargle
Hypnotist switched in Smeargle.
Dusknoir used Ice Punch.
A critical hit!
Smeargle lost 81% of its health.
Dusknoir's leftovers restored a little health!
Dusknoir restored 6% of its health.
Dusknoir is hurt by poison!
Dusknoir lost 12% of its health.
I figured he would use Will-o-Wisp on me like before. I completely forgot about him having a high Attack, Ice Punch and Mantine's low Defense. My mind must've been in third gen and didn't consider Ice Punch as a Physical move. Meh, I guess I was under the impression (somewhat) that Ice Punch was still a special move and didn't really consider the possibility of him using Ice Punch much due to this reason. Smeargle survives though. Hopefully the tactic works >.> I begin to feel more hasty.
Turn 19: The Tactic Fails. A Shoddy Glitch!
Smeargle used Switcheroo.
Smeargle obtained Leftovers!
Dusknoir obtained Choice Scarf!
Dusknoir used Switcheroo.
Dusknoir obtained Leftovers!
Smeargle obtained Choice Scarf!
Dusknoir is hurt by poison!
Dusknoir lost 19% of its health.
Dusknoir's leftovers restored a little health!
Dusknoir restored 6% of its health.
Meh, ok, so there's a glitch in the system. >.> I'm feeling very hasty at this point though, since I've always wanted to try that out. Funny... I didn't realized Dusknoir used Switcheroo too until now. ._. I could've used that glitch to my advantage >_> (with Dusknoir... you know... suffering from poison and all. Wasting turns and stuff). Ok... so my hastiness leads me to believe that he'll use WoW next even though it's obvious that he isn't. Seeing as how the tactic didn't work I just switched. :( (Not realizing the better tactic of staying in and just using Switcheroo).
Turn 20: U-turn Please!
Choice Scarf prohibits the use of this move.
Hypnotist switched in Roserade.
Dusknoir used Ice Punch.
It's super effective!
Roserade lost 43% of its health.
Dusknoir is hurt by poison!
Dusknoir lost 25% of its health.
Dusknoir's leftovers restored a little health!
Dusknoir restored 6% of its health.
Roserade's Black Sludge restored a little health!
Roserade restored 6% of its health.
Figures, I couldn't use U-turn... so I was forced to just switch out. I switched to Roserade thinking for some reason that he would use WoW >.< Super-effective too >.< Bah well... I won't die next turn, so I might as well stall him out with Synthesis.
Turn 21: Roses are red, Violets are blue, Synthesis
Roserade used Synthesis.
Roserade restored 50% of its health.
Dusknoir used Ice Punch.
It's super effective!
Roserade lost 42% of its health.
Dusknoir is hurt by poison!
Dusknoir lost 31% of its health.
Dusknoir's leftovers restored a little health!
Dusknoir restored 6% of its health.
Roserade's Black Sludge restored a little health!
Roserade restored 6% of its health.
Wow, I turned out being faster >.> Figures... I wasn't thinking clearly and thought I would be slower. But w/e I used Synthesis, healed up and then Dusknoir attacks. This is what I'll be doing for the next turns so... meh.
Turn 22: Lolz
Roserade used Synthesis.
Roserade restored 50% of its health.
Dusknoir used Ice Punch.
It's super effective!
Roserade lost 46% of its health.
Dusknoir is hurt by poison!
Dusknoir lost 37% of its health.
Muggy's Dusknoir fainted.
Dusknoir's leftovers restored a little health!
Roserade's Black Sludge restored a little health!
Roserade restored 6% of its health.
6-5: Me
Yay, he fainted :) that's cool :) now I'm winning. Though now I have little health. :(
Muggy switched in Starmie.
Ok, not good... it's Starmie. If it uses Ice Beam, I'm dead. I've got to avoid that. What do I switch to? >_> If I switch to Mantine... I could be Thunderbolted. I figured the possibility was low and didn't consider other pokemon and did I mention my mind was rushing.
Turn 23: Outpredicted
Hypnotist switched in Mantine.
Starmie used Thunderbolt.
It's super effective!
Mantine lost 74% of its health.
Mantine is paralysed! It may be unable to move!
Mantine's leftovers restored a little health!
Mantine restored 6% of its health.
Funny, I once again failed to realize I was paralyzed >.< Ok, this is bad, one more Thunderbolt and I'm dead. On the other hand, he can outpredict and use something else on me. If I switch to Roserade, he'll use Ice Beam... poor Roserade... I don't really want it to die. Then upon further inspection of my team, I thought of something. :)
Turn 24: I Sacrifice my Smeargle -
Hypnotist switched in Smeargle.
Starmie used Ice Beam.
Smeargle lost 62% of its health.
Hypnotist's Smeargle fainted.
I lost one pokemon, but he really wasn't going to help anyways. So:
5-5
- To Summon -
Hypnotist switched in Dugtrio.
Trio! Trio! Trio!
Starmie was trapped!
Remember before when I was talking about how Ninetales switched in right as I switched in Skarmory? (The Second Switch)? Well Dugtrio would've been a better switch in at that moment, ah well. Time to own.
Also, now you know all the pokemon in my team
Hypnotist's Team:
Turn 25: Dugtrio Avenges Smeargle! Starmie's great downfall! Dragonite enters Battle!
Dugtrio used Sucker Punch.
It's super effective!
Starmie lost 94% of its health.
Muggy's Starmie fainted.
Yayuh, and so I take the lead again.
5-4: Me
Muggy switched in Dragonite.
Oh Shi-! Ok, Dragonite focuses on Attack, is that correct?
Turn 26: Skarmory re-enters
Hypnotist switched in Skarmory.
Dragonite used Dragon Dance.
Dragonite's attack was raised.
Dragonite's speed was raised.
From what I read about Dragonite... this was exactly what I expected it to do first. I figure I should Whirlwind it.
Turn 27: Steel is grey, Steel is grey, Whirlwind
Dragonite used Fire Punch.
It's super effective!
Skarmory lost 45% of its health.
Dragonite lost 10% of its health.
Skarmory used Whirlwind.
Muggy switched in Ninjask.
Skarmory's leftovers restored a little health!
Skarmory restored 6% of its health.
Ninjask's Speed Boost raised its speed!
Ninjask's speed was raised.
Ninjask, eh? Good... now I can recover. I figure he would switch to something that can counter Skarm. If it's Ninetales though, he shouldn't Hypnosis me due to Sleep Clause... which I believe is implied to be in effect. >.> Anyhow... I just Roost to recover health.
Turn 28: Roost vs Substitute
Ninjask used Substitute.
Ninjask lost 25% of its health.
Ninjask made a substitute!
Skarmory used Roost.
Skarmory restored 50% of its health.
Ninjask's Speed Boost raised its speed!
Ninjask's speed was raised.
Good, now that he has substitute up, he'll probably use Swords Dance then Baton Pass, at which point I'll whirlwind him away. Switch? Me? Puh-lease.
Turn 29: Spikes enters the scene
Ninjask used Aerial Ace.
It's not very effective...
Skarmory lost 7% of its health.
Skarmory used Spikes.
Spikes were scattered everywhere!
NinjaskSpikes were scattered around the foe's team!
Skarmory's leftovers restored a little health!
Skarmory restored 6% of its health.
Ninjask's Speed Boost raised its speed!
Ninjask's speed was raised.
Writing a warstory sure takes longer than I thought. I now admire those that take their time and effort to write this stuff. Anyhow... I didn't expect this. He must've used Aerial Ace thinking I'd switch or something. W/e I have Spikes now. That helps a bit. Though now I can definitely expect a Baton Pass.
Turn 30: Baton Pass
Ninjask used Baton Pass.
Marowak's speed was raised.
Marowak made a substitute!
Marowak's speed was raised.
Marowak's speed was raised.
Muggy switched in Marowak.
Marowak was hurt by Spikes!
Marowak lost 6% of its health.
Skarmory used Whirlwind.
Muggy switched in Ninetales.
Ninetales was hurt by Spikes!
Ninetales lost 6% of its health.
Skarmory's leftovers restored a little health!
Skarmory restored 6% of its health.
Ok, here's the point where I just don't know what to do... for some reason. I could use Spikes... but w/e... I expect a Flamethrower, and I don't know if Mantine would survive in the condition he's in... would he? Well anyhow... I decide to take this as an opportunity to wake someone up.
Turn 31: Wake-up Ninetales
Hypnotist switched in Ninetales.
Ninetales used Hypnosis.
But it failed!
I thought we had Sleep Clause. >_> W/e I don't say anything, I don't mind battling like this anyways. So here's what happens.
Turn 32: Turn 32
Muggy switched in Ninjask.
Ninetales is fast asleep!
Ninjask's Speed Boost raised its speed!
Ninjask's speed was raised.
Argh, this isn't good, I wish he would wake up but he didn't. So now wait... funny... I figured he was trying to lure me in to switch back to Skarmory (so that he could switch to Ninetales). I guess that's why I switched to this... but no wait... this makes no sense. >_> I don't comprehend the logic I used here but w/e. Here's where the downfall begins actually. My hastiness must be at its maximum point.
Turn 33: Roserade? WTF?
Hypnotist switched in Roserade.
Ninjask used Baton Pass.
Ninetales's speed was raised.
Muggy switched in Ninetales.
Ninetales was hurt by Spikes!
Ninetales lost 6% of its health.
Roserade's Black Sludge restored a little health!
Roserade restored 6% of its health.
I switched to Roserade... I can't remember why either. :\ Maybe I thought he was going to switch to Marowak or something. No comment here :x must've been an panicked decision or something.
Turn 34: Roserade doesn't die easily
Ninetales used Flamethrower.
It's super effective!
Roserade lost 65% of its health.
Roserade used Aromatherapy.
Roserade's Black Sludge restored a little health!
Roserade restored 6% of its health.
I think from the last turn on, all my decisions were a bit panicky. I switch to Ninetales hoping for a Flamethrower again.
Turn 35: Hypnosis is used once more on Hypnotist
Hypnotist switched in Ninetales.
Ninetales used Hypnosis.
Ninetales fell asleep!
Durr... it should've been obvious... but... now that Ninetales is asleep... I can expect a Nasty Plot to be able to switch to something else.
Turn 36: Dugtrio switch!
Hypnotist switched in Dugtrio.
Ninetales was trapped!
Ninetales used Nasty Plot.
Ninetales's special attack was sharply raised.
To be honest, the stupidest decision ever.
Turn 37: The ground is brown, so are CornDogs, Death
Ninetales used Energy Ball.
It's super effective!
Dugtrio lost 183% of its health.
Hypnotist's Dugtrio fainted.
Hypnotist: Dugtrio's faster? >.>
Hypnotist: err.. .Ninetales I mean?
Hypnotist switched in Mantine. (LOL, Good One Hypnotist >_>)
Muggy: I got in a speed boost
Muggy: From Jask
Hypnotist: Ah, I see
Muggy: Indeed.
When Ninjask baton passed to Ninetales, I just thought it switched. >_> I fall victim to the Wall-o-text once more. *sigh* Oh well... Dugtrio's gone. He was really useful too. Played well I guess. ;_;
4-4
And so begins the turning point.
Turn 38: The Turning Point
Ninetales used Energy Ball.
Mantine lost 25% of its health.
Hypnotist's Mantine fainted.
Bloody hell! What's wrong with me?! Switching in to something like that... go switch to something better!
4-3: Muggy
Opponent has the lead now... I guess I've no other option.
Turn 39: Wake Up Ninetales!!!
Hypnotist switched in Ninetales.
Muggy switched in Dragonite.
Ninetales is fast asleep!
Hopefully, Ninetales wakes up. I have Aromatherapy, but kind of hard to use when that other Ninetales is still there. I expect him to switch back to Ninetales though (He thinks I'll switch to Skarmory, go figure). It's either that or I'm remembering incorrectly and just making hasty decisions. Right now, I really want Ninetales to wake up anyways. I don't even know what I want to do with it anyways. xD I guess I've partially given up or something
Turn 40: Frustration >.>
Muggy switched in Ninetales.
Ninetales was hurt by Spikes!
Ninetales lost 6% of its health.
Ninetales is fast asleep!
Turn 41: Frustration Continues
Muggy switched in Dragonite.
Ninetales is fast asleep!
Wake up. >.> I'm leave him there because I feel he might wake up soon. Though that's just Gambler's Fallacy.
Turn 42: Dragonite starts Dancing
Ninetales is fast asleep!
Dragonite used Dragon Dance.
Dragonite's attack was raised.
Dragonite's speed was raised.
Yeah yeah, dance dance. I'm done with Ninetales... I'll switch in later or use Aromatherapy or something. Right now I just need to switch to
Turn 43: Skarmory takes a critical hit
Hypnotist switched in Skarmory.
Dragonite used Outrage.
Dragonite went on a rampage!
A critical hit!
It's not very effective...
Skarmory lost 60% of its health.
Dragonite lost 10% of its health.
Skarmory's leftovers restored a little health!
Skarmory restored 6% of its health.
Ouch, though Skarmory can still take another non-critical hit. Thus I use Roost:
Turn 44: Skarmory=Roost
Dragonite used Outrage.
It's not very effective...
Skarmory lost 26% of its health.
Dragonite lost 10% of its health.
Skarmory used Roost.
Skarmory restored 50% of its health.
Dragonite's rampage ended.
Dragonite became confused!
Skarmory's leftovers restored a little health!
Skarmory restored 6% of its health.
I used Roost, like I said I did. It helped :) I'm really hoping for Confusion Hax now though. In the mean time:
Turn 45: Spikes
Dragonite is confused!
Dragonite used Outrage.
Dragonite went on a rampage!
It's not very effective...
Skarmory lost 28% of its health.
Dragonite lost 10% of its health.
Skarmory used Spikes.
DragoniteSpikes were scattered around the foe's team!
Skarmory's leftovers restored a little health!
Skarmory restored 6% of its health.
Ok, so I set up more spikes that makes Spikes Level 2. Though what I do next is... now that I realize it... not going to help. >_> I just remembered that you can't switch out of Outrage, so he's obviously not going to switch, for some reason I predicted Ninetales switching x.x not helpful at all. Worst move.
Turn 46: Whirlwind
Dragonite is confused!
Dragonite used Outrage.
It's not very effective...
Skarmory lost 28% of its health.
Dragonite lost 10% of its health.
Skarmory used Whirlwind.
Muggy switched in Ninetales.
Ninetales was hurt by Spikes!
Ninetales lost 12% of its health.
Skarmory's leftovers restored a little health!
Skarmory restored 6% of its health.
I should've just kept on Spiking... >.< I had Roost so Health wasn't a problem. Ah well. Funny how I predict a Ninetales switch in (when it's not even possible -_-) and there it is... Ninetales. Ironic much? Bah, my mind was acting Hasty, I'll probably be more careful next time. Though now... :p hoping for some luck now.
Turn 47: He returns
Hypnotist switched in Ninetales.
Ninetales used Hypnosis.
But it failed!
So he returns, but at least Ninetales fails. Anyhow, hopefully he'll wake up now.
Turn 48: It awakes! D=
Muggy switched in Marowak.
Marowak was hurt by Spikes!
Marowak lost 12% of its health.
Ninetales woke up!
Ninetales used Hypnosis.
Marowak fell asleep!
It finally wakes up! Though now that it's awake and Marowak's asleep, he'll probably switch in something else. To be honest, I wanted to stay on the safe side. I can't use Hypnosis anymore due to sleep clause. This means I have either: Nasty Plot, Fire Blast (Wide Lens) or Energy Ball. If I use Nasty Plot, he could switch to something like Ninjask and then Baton Pass the speed. If I use Fire Blast he could switch to Ninetales. If I use Energy Ball... well... at least if he doesn't switch, Marowak will die.
Turn 49: A Battle Longer than I expected
Muggy switched in Ninjask.
Ninetales used Energy Ball.
It's not very effective...
Ninjask lost 11% of its health.
Ninjask's Liechi Berry raised its attack!
Ninjask's Speed Boost raised its speed!
Ninjask's speed was raised.
Shoot, he'll definitely Baton Pass to something now. Though I don't know what. For all I know he could switch to Ninetales or something (Baton Pass Speed). I allowed Ninetales to stay. Though actually, I was just making yet another one of those moves. I should've switched to Skarmory immediately.
Turn 50: 9 more turns
Ninjask used Baton Pass.
Dragonite's Liechi Berry raised its attack!
Dragonite's speed was raised.
Muggy switched in Dragonite.
Ninetales used Nasty Plot.
Ninetales's special attack was sharply raised.
Ok, Dragonite. Blah... I think I'm done for. x.x I don't want Ninetales to die though.
Turn 51: The Rampage
Hypnotist switched in Skarmory.
Dragonite used Outrage.
Dragonite went on a rampage!
It's not very effective...
Skarmory lost 26% of its health.
Dragonite lost 10% of its health.
Skarmory's leftovers restored a little health!
Skarmory restored 6% of its health.
Lots of damage there. No way Skarm can survive... but... bah! >.<
Turn 52: Dragonite went POW! Skarmory went BOOM!
Dragonite used Outrage.
It's not very effective...
Skarmory lost 29% of its health.
Hypnotist's Skarmory fainted.
Dragonite lost 10% of its health.
Dragonite's rampage ended.
Dragonite became confused!
He just gained the edge:
4-2: Muggy
Hypnotist switched in Roserade.
Turn 52: Hi, I'm Roserade again
Muggy switched in Ninetales.
Ninetales was hurt by Spikes!
Ninetales lost 12% of its health.
Roserade used Synthesis.
Roserade restored 50% of its health.
Roserade's Black Sludge restored a little health!
Roserade restored 6% of its health.
He switched, he could've stayed with Dragonite and owned Roserade though. *shrugs* I figure he'll use Hypnosis now. Though I've got Natural Cure, bah well.
Turn 53
Ninetales used Hypnosis.
Roserade fell asleep!
Roserade is fast asleep!
Roserade's Black Sludge restored a little health!
Roserade restored 6% of its health.
Turn 54
Hypnotist switched in Ninetales.
Ninetales used Nasty Plot.
Ninetales's special attack was sharply raised.
Hypnotist: Is sleep clause in effect? >.>
I finally ask it. :p
Turn 55
Muggy switched in Marowak.
Marowak was hurt by Spikes!
Marowak lost 12% of its health.
Ninetales used Nasty Plot.
Ninetales's special attack was sharply raised.
I just used Nasty Plot, I had already used Hypnosis on his Marowak. >.> Though that's why I asked. Lol. I figure he'll switch again though. Its the same scenario before a couple of turns ago, just that this time I have already Nasty Plotted. Though I have to ask... why Marowak?!
Muggy: Yeah
Muggy: I know you want to
Muggy: xD
Turn 56: Ok, so he switches again. Lol.
Muggy switched in Ninjask.
Ninetales used Energy Ball.
It's not very effective...
Ninjask lost 22% of its health.
Muggy's Ninjask fainted.
Ok, good... I just made progress. Lol. xD Either that or he's humouring me.
3-2: Muggy
Muggy switched in Ninetales.
Ninetales was hurt by Spikes!
Ninetales lost 12% of its health.
Turn 57: Ok, good... so far so good I guess.
Hypnotist switched in Roserade.
Ninetales used Hypnosis.
Ninetales's attack missed!
Roserade's Black Sludge restored a little health!
Roserade restored 6% of its health.
D= This is exactly what I've been waiting for! That's nice! Ok, not really... not just yet... but:
Turn 58: Could my Luck possibly turn the tables?
Ninetales used Hypnosis.
Ninetales's attack missed!
Roserade used Leech Seed.
Ninetales was seeded!
Ninetales's health was sapped by leech seed!
Ninetales lost 12% of its health.
Roserade regained health!
Roserade restored 11% of its health.
Roserade's Black Sludge restored a little health!
Roserade restored 6% of its health.
Hypnotist: Roserade <3
Muggy: Damn you
Damn straight. <3 Roserade. It's amazing how he missed like that :) Maybe I might win after all. Roserade can take hits... definitely.
Turn 59: The Error
Muggy switched in Dragonite.
Roserade used Energy Ball.
It's not very effective...
Dragonite lost 8% of its health.
Roserade's Black Sludge restored a little health!
Roserade restored 6% of its health.
It's called The Error for a reason. Ok, I used Energy Ball... I should've predicted a switch, but that's not the error! The error is what happens afterwards. Something pops up on the screen! Something asking me if I want to disconnect! The server's crashing! NOOO!
Damn you Shoddy! Bah well. I learned a lot from this battle:
The Pros:
- Roserade for obvious reasons
- My prediction when I don't make hasty moves and my mind is clear.
- How lucky I was at times O.o; (WoW missing 3 times in a row... wow)
- I just refreshed my battling. I'll probably do a lot better next time.
The Cons:
- Smeargle must go. Tactic didn't work. >_> At least in Shoddy. Smeargle is still one of my favorites though *hugs Smeargle*.
- Not realizing that thing about Outrage. I'm an idiot. Though now I can keep that in mind.
- New to the 4th gen metagame somewhat.
- So lack of experience. Also making hasty moves at times I suppose >.<
- Shoddybattle can be really... Shoddy ._.
It was a good battle nevertheless. I shall now repost the teams:
My Team:
Muggy's Team:

When Ninjask baton passed to Ninetales, I just thought it switched. >_> I fall victim to the Wall-o-text once more. *sigh* Oh well... Dugtrio's gone. He was really useful too. Played well I guess. ;_;
