Also self-explanatory title.

It's currently three weeks and I've been hesitant to shrink it due to the wide range of timezones present in qualifiers, as well as the size of qualifiers being not much smaller than the main event in the past few years (if not larger, looking @ you 2023), so the closest anology to qualifiers R1 is pools from the main event, which is also 3 weeks.

I lean towards keeping the status quo, but if it gets changed I'll edit the schedule accordingly (some qualifiers signups/threads likely pushed back a few days each, but no significant change for overall dates or anything regarding the main event).

If this is implemented, this doesn't affect the main stage players at all (with the exception of those who have to play through qualifiers).

Two weeks sounds very reasonable tbh. There are many pros and very few cons to doing it that way, especially for the people on the teams that will advance to the next rounds. The tour is already quite long, and an extra week only makes it more exhausting for these people.

One less week isnt such a big change, but I think its worth trying and seeing the difference.

I really dont think that preparing for two games in the same week will be a problem for the MAJORITY. After all, there are quite a few active players who play tons of tournaments throughout the year. Ofc, thats not the case for everyone, but Im speaking for the majority. Besides, we all have a team that can provide support to those players with more limited preparation time, etc
