Hello people. This is my third RMT in these forums and, despite the title, this is my most successful team in any metagame to date. It has peaked me at #2 (I have no screenshots but iss can back me up on this, as he peaked at #1 when i peaked at #2) and has beaten most of the top players in the metagame like iss, Hawkstar, KingTorterra, prem and GoneToTheBeach, all who have peaked #1 (except prem), which is a testament to how good this team is if I can match some of the best players. Also a big thanks to prem for helping me to take the team that bit further and unlocking its full potential. This team may seem quite similar to KingTorterra's RMT but trust me. I was using these pokes waaaayyy before we battled and he posted his team. I did not copy him.
This team is a very offensive team with 3 set-up sweepers, a scarfer, mienfoo and a defensive backbone to the team. I dont use hazards and just rely on good predictions and forcing switches to get a set-up. It also uses one of THE most underrated pokemon in the metagame, shell smash dwebble. It catches so many people off guard and I have got so many wins from it is untrue.
So, lets get on with the team!

"I dont like being called the worst shell smasher"
Dwebble (M) @ Oran Berry
Trait: Sturdy
Level: 5
EVs: 236 Atk / 236 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Shell Smash
- Rock Blast
- Earthquake
- X-Scissor
Dwebble is the main pokemon on this team. I usually lead off with him and shell smash because people always expect the spiker variant (although with the usage stats and people finding out my plans because ive battled so much means my plan is somewhat old now). After a shell smash, i can 2HKO the whole metagame with my attacks. Rock Blast is for breaking sturdys and focus sashes, earthquake is for fighting types and provides a pseudo-edgequake combo. X-scissor is a good, reliable STAB that i use if i dont like the chance of getting 2 or 3 hits with rock blast. Oran berry is to get some hp back after hitting my sturdy so fake out users can't stop my sweep after taking out one poke and the evs max out speed and attack.
"Dont disturb me when im meditating"
Mienfoo (F) @ Eviolite
Trait: Regenerator
Level: 5
EVs: 156 Atk / 196 Def / 156 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Drain Punch
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Fake Out
Mienfoo is currently the most used pokemon in the metagame, and for good reason too. It is a very stong fighting type with fake out and a means of scouting the opposition with U-turn. It also has the ability regenerator, which works very well in tandem with drain punch and u-turn. I never lead off with mienfoo as that is one of the most obvious leads ever. It is the first part of my semi-bulky core. Jolly is for outspeeding pokemon and U-turning out if it is an unfavourable matchup. The evs max out defense while giving some offensive presence. Fake out is obvious, for revenge killing and getting some extra damage. U-turn is for scouting, Knock off is for ghost types and can either reduce the bulk of a wall by removing its eviolite; by redcuing the power of a sweeper by removing its life orb; or reducing a pokemons logevity by removing an oran berry. Drain punch is a reliable fighting type STAB that can also regain some health as well.
Dont let its cute appearance fool you.
Scraggy (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Shed Skin
Level: 5
EVs: 236 Atk / 36 Def / 236 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Hi Jump Kick
- Crunch
- Zen Headbutt
Scraggy is the second part of my core. DD scraggy is easily one of the most dangerous sweepers in the metagame as it can OHKO a lot of threats like Murkrow or misdreavus, while severely damaging the pokemon it doesnt OHKO. Scraggy also has shed skin, to protect from status that can stop its sweep. HJK is a very powerful but unreliable move that can lay the hurt on pretty much every poke in the metagame. Crunch is a good relaible STAB that is needed to beat ghost types that come in on an expected HJK. Zen headbutt has only one use, croagunk. It has come in very handy at times as croagunk can't OHKO scraggy with an eviolite but scraggy can OHKO with a zen headbutt. Scraggy is a very important member of my team and has won me many games. The evs max out attack and speed while providing a small amount of bulk along with eviolite.
"I'm a real boy!"
Snover @ Eviolite
Trait: Snow Warning
Level: 5
EVs: 36 HP / 180 Atk / 36 Def / 180 SAtk / 36 SDef
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SAtk / 30 Spe
Quiet Nature
- Blizzard
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power Fire
- Ice Shard
Thanks for all of the advice given to me. Snover works wonders for the team. It provides me with a safe switch-in to water types and chinchou, which i didn't have before. I also have no trouble with sand now, as snover is a reliable switch-in to hippopotas and drilbur. Blizzard is crazy powerful in hail, with 100% accuracy. Giga drain also provides me with a good STAB and pseudo-recovery. Ice shard is to pick off weakened pokes or as a last ditch attempt at some damage before fainting. Hidden power fire is for steels as i found leech seed to be slowing down my momentum and I didn't use it very much. Magnemite also gave me problems. The EVs give me some bulk while still packing a punch with each attack.
Dont mess with the Godfather
Murkrow (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Insomnia
Level: 5
EVs: 236 Atk / 80 SAtk / 188 Spd
Lonely Nature
- Brave Bird
- Heat Wave
- Sucker Punch
- Hidden Power [Grass]
Murkrow is the last part of my semi-bulky core. He is there so that I have something to fall back on if scraggy and mienfoo go down. He has saved me from many a defeat as he can easily destroy a weakened team with brave bird. Insomnia also allows me to switch in to foongus (a real pain up the ass) with ease and OHKO it. With a choice scarf, murkrow is one of the fastest pokemon in the metagame and can finish off a battle for me. Murkrow is also able to get rid of a wall with his storrong brave bird or to get me out of a sticky position where i am losing and need to get some offensive momentum going, as this team is heavily offensive. Brave bird is the main move i use, as it is the most powerful. Sucker punch is a very strong priority move that i use if i feel like predicting, but is not used much as choice scarf and brave bird allows me to outspeed many pokemon already. Heat wave is for steel types, as it OHKOs or 2HKOs all of them. Hidden power grass is never used as it is very weak, but is an answer to some bulky waters. The evs are to max out attack while giving heat wave some power and going as fast as i can.
"NASTY PLOT!"
Misdreavus (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Levitate
Level: 5
EVs: 28 HP / 240 SAtk / 240 Spd
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
Misdreavus is my main special attacker of the team. With nasty plot, missy becomes a very potent threat that can 2HKO mots of the metagame with its attacks. It can also come in on some attacks and take them for the team, if no one else can. Shadow ball and hp fight allow for perfect unresisted coverage to get the most out of nasty plot. Thunderbolt is for bulky water, which can live a couple of my attacks and retaliate with status or hard hits. The latter not so much of a worry with eviolite. The evs are to max out speed and Spatk as they are very important with a little bit more bulk in hp.

Teambuilding
I decided I wanted to use shell smash dwebble because it is so underrated and epic.
I then added a core I found somewhere on the forums that used a core of bulky mienfoo and bulky DD scraggy. I then added Taillow as a backup scarfer if anything went wrong with my core and Dwebble.
Next I added an eviolite nasty plot Misdreavus as a very good Mienfoo counter and sweeper if it was needed. I also needed a special attacker and missy was the perfect fit.
Finally, I added Slowpoke to the team a as defensive backbone to fall back on if there were problems with physical attackers. Slowpoke is also my best answer to ferroseed, as they never expect a fire blast. This team did me relatively well but there was something missing...
After beating prem in a tutoring session he suggested to me that I try a mixed scarf murkrow. I have never looked back. It was such a good change and has done so much better than Taillow ever did. I truly thank prem for suggesting the change to me.

As you can see, this team cannot take hits too well and so needs a lot of prediciton to play with. But I like that, and have learnt this team and what to do in pretty much every situation possible. Im sure there are some glaring weaknesses that i cant see and so if you could point them out that would be great, as this is one of my favourite teams ever and thing it deserves to reach its full potential. Also, luvdics are always welcome if you think this team is good ;) or you are going to copy it.
