SM OU Weavile in OU?

'Sup people!
So it's my first post in this forum but i've been a player for quite some time, and if i consider myself a decent/good player i always struggled with team building.
Since we have a new meta i thought might as well get into it, so here we are ^^

First i wanted to show some love to my boy Weavile, since i haven't seen him at all this gen and i think it can still have potenital despite having obvious flaws and being stopped by quite a few things in the meta.

Weavile @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ice Shard
- Swords Dance
- Poison Jab
- Knock Off

This set can seem strange (and it is) but the theory behind that it's that it still serve its old purpose (ie strong priority, knocking off everythang) but it can help to oblitarate offense too.

+2 p-jab OHKOes gren as you outspeed it before it transforms (and it can't do much in return with water shuriken), it also kills tapu fini.
+2 ice shard OHKOes pheromosa, making this weavile a huge threat if you somehow managed to swords dance up against offense (and is neat against offense in general even when not boosted)

It also helps revenge kill scarf chomp, double dance lando or DD mence, allowing you to play a bit more freely around those huge threats.
And if you feel ballsy, having psychic immunities is always cool to switch in on those scarf lele psychic ^^
all of that being said you're still worn down way too fast, weak to rocks and you're still walled by common stuff.

Next i wanted my mega to break stuff, mainly things that weavile can't touch at all (like mega sableye for example) so i chose one of my favorite mega to use, my boy Zard-Y

Timid Nature

- Fire Blast
- Roost
- Solar Beam
- Focus Blast

Pretty classic but effective, show me your switch ins (if you don't have a chansey that is ^^) and watch them take 55% from a "resisted" hit. Gotta love him, pure savagery ^^
Can be an emergency check to ash gren as for some reason they often stay in (god knows why)

You can see it coming now, with my two SR weak mons we HAVE to include hazard control right there.
And yeah, you probably see it coming too, we'll use our new toy (and one of our only consistant defogger) Tapu Fini
initially i had a z electric move defog latios which was a lot of fun to bop those celesteela but ash gren was too much of an issue, plus i needed rocks gone and fini does it more consistantly (and it helps against stall too which is always neat).

Tapu Fini @ Leftovers
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 248 HP / 180 Def / 20 SpD / 60 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Nature's Madness
- Taunt
- Defog

As stated earlier, very reliable defogger, pressure stall, taunt support, pretty much an hard counter to ash gren, all in one mon, can we really ask for more? ^^
I sometimes miss the water stab, but overall this is my favorite set.

Next i needed rocks, defense abiliity and u-turn support to bring zard safely.
Mmmmh i wonder what mon i should use ^^
Yup it's the flying tiger himself

Landorus-Therian @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 228 Def / 4 SpD / 24 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- U-turn
- Stealth Rock

Honestly there are very few reasons not to use it, i like my tiger to outspeed fini and other landos to weaken them with HP ice (cool against zygarde too that could be a threat with a sub up)
I think i won't get to much in details with that because we pretty much all know what he does; check the whole metagame ^^

Next i wanted speed control. And means to deal with volcarona as for now except boosting their z fire blast with my sun i don't have many counter measures!
i decided to go with scarf Nihilego, as it's a quite powerfull revenge killer (and it's -almost- a zard y switch in!) and cleaner late game thanks to its beast boost ability

Nihilego @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Power Gem
- Sludge Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]/[Ice]

I've seen people run thunder instead of thunderbolt, i didn't find many reasons to do so so if someone knows why i'm interested ^^ I'm still not sure about the HP, i always go on and off, fire is nice to bop those ferros (especially when sun boosted) that like to switch in (and maybe when you predict their magnezone/magearna to switch, weakening them for a sweep later) and ice is nice to revenge kill +1 mence or scarf chomp.
You already have that with weavile but it's not a mon that you'll be able to preserve consistantly
if you try you'll see that people have often only one good switchs in to nihilego, namely steels type, that you can pressure hard with zard
it cleans very often, whether it be with sludge wave or power gem, really the biggest positive surprise of this team, i'm telling you, this mon is cash! ^^ it's the real MVP (shoutouts to KD) and she's ultimately the one that wins me most of my games
Water shuriken does like 5 and when it's in the sun even less, it rarely will stop your sweep (this thing is super bulky on the special side!)

for my last mon i wanted a "risk-free" switch in to lele, that could help with magearna and provide u-turn support too, so i chose spe def rachi
it provided wish support too but with this one i change the moveset litterally every two game, the only moves staying for sure being iron head and u-turn

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 200 SpD / 56 Spe
Careful Nature
- Iron Head
- Wish/Thunder-Wave
- Healing Wish/protect
- U-turn

passing a wish to lando can be game changing, healing wish zard can be clutch too and u-turn is always nice. Flinching down heatran is a solid game plan too ^^
More seriously though maybe AV zone could be its job better being able to trap things to support nihilego and volt switch out, i would like to have your opinions on that

So yeah that's pretty much the team, i would love to hear what you have to say about it as i'm unsure about my team building skills ^^
I don't have much time to play rn, i'm like 13-0 with this team but it doesn't mean much since it's the low ladder so if you want to try it out feel free to do so!

the biggest threat for this team imo is heatran, you can deal with it but it's a pain to switch into and the bloom doom set puts in a lot of work against this team (i didn't actually face one but on paper i think it could be a huge threat)
