2v2 Weavile [Done]

[SET]
name: Offensive Life Orb
move 1: Fake Out
move 2: Knock Off
move 3: Icicle Crash / Triple Axel
move 4: Protect / Ice Shard
item: Life Orb
ability: Pressure
nature: Jolly
evs: 24 HP / 252 Atk / 232 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Weavile is a solid Pokemon in 2v2, thanks to its high Attack and Speed, and a great offensive typing. Weavile has the second-fastest Fake Out behind Zeraora, allowing it to almost always outspeed opposing Fake Out users. Icicle Crash is Weavile's main source of damage, picking up OHKOs on Galarian Moltres, Naganadel, and Regidrago. Triple Axel is a stronger STAB move, bypassing the effects of Yache Berry to pick up the OHKO on Zygarde, but is less consistent due to its lower accuracy. Knock Off is another strong STAB attack, removing items on Pokemon that rely on them like Porygon2 and Cresselia, as well as threatening OHKOs on Mew, Metagross, Victini, and Indeedee-F. Ice Shard allows it to pick up easy KOs on Zygarde and Landorus, as well as clean up anything that may have been weakened. 24 HP EVs minimizes Life Orb recoil, and 232 Speed with a Jolly nature outspeeds Naganadel.

Weavile works very well on more offensive teams, as its high Speed and Attack pair well with much of the metagame. Due to Fake Out, Weavile helps slower, offensive allies such as Metagross get an attack off, clearing out threats to Weavile such as Diancie and Tyranitar, and in return Weavile can also remove Ground-type Pokemon that would threaten to KO Metagross. Weavile can also be used well with redirectors like Blastoise and Togekiss, allowing it to easily hit Pokemon that will OHKO your redirector, such as Rillaboom and Metagross. Without redirection, Weavile struggles to handle Pokemon like Zeraora and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele, as they will always outspeed and KO it. Other Pokemon that work well as teammates are Water-types such as Blastoise and Tapu Fini that help deal with opposing Fire-types, as well as Fairy-type Pokemon like Tapu Fini and Togekiss to deal with Fighting-type Pokemon. Another solid teammate is Galarian Zapdos, which is able to clear out Rock- and Steel-types, as well as dissuade Intimidate users such as Incineroar. Due to Weavile's poor bulk and defensive typing, it is incredibly weak to Pokemon that outspeed it. Pokemon like Regieleki, Zeraora, and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele make it extremely difficult for Weavile to get any attacks off, so Weavile can also benefit from immediate Tailwind support from Talonflame, which can also help deal with Fire-, Steel-, and Fighting-type Pokemon, especially hitting Pheromosa with a priority Brave Bird thanks to Gale Wings.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Ice Shard can be used to hit foes who outspeed Weavile, as well as KO Pheromosa with Fake Out into Ice Shard. Poison Jab can be used to have an easier time against Fairy-types such as Tapu Fini and non-Choice Scarf Tapu Lele, but gives up a chance to hit Steel-type Pokemon. Low Kick is another coverage option that allows Weavile to hit Dark-, Rock-, and Steel-types such as Heatran, and Tyranitar.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Faster Foes and Speed control**: Weavile struggles to function well when outsped, so it can have a hard time dealing with naturally fast Pokemon like Zeraora, Choice Scarf users such as Genesect, priority Tailwind from Talonflame, Icy Wind from Pheromosa, and Electroweb from Regieleki.

**Intimidate**: Pokemon with Intimidate make it much harder for Weavile to deal damage. Most commonly seen from Pokemon like Incineroar and Landorus-T, it can causes Weavile to miss out on some much needed KOs.

**Fairy-types**: Weavile heavily struggles to break through Fairy-types like Tapu Fini and Diancie, who can easily tank Weavile's STAB moves and OHKO back.

**Steel-types**: Weavile is walled by Steel-types such as Heatran, Genesect, and Ferrothorn, needing to run coverage in Low Kick or rely on its allies to make any progress against them.

**Fire-types**: Weavile fails to OHKO Fire-types like Cinderace and Incineroar, and is easily OHKOed by their Fire-type STAB moves.

**Fighting-types**: Fast Fighting-types like Pheromosa and Blaziken after a Speed Boost can outspeed and OHKO Weavile easily.

Weavile is a great Pokemon in 2v2, thanks to its high Attack and Speed, along with a great offensive typing. This set runs max Attack with an adamant nature to maximize attack, along with 224 Speed, outpacing Naganadel, and the rest put into HP for some added bulk. Weavile has access to the second fastest Fake Out behind Zeraora, allowing it to almost always outspeed opposing Fake Out users, freeing up an opportunity for your other Pokemon. Knock Off is another strong STAB attack, that is good at removing items on Pokemon that rely on them like Porygon2 and Cresselia, as well as threatening OHKO's on Mew, Metagross, and Victini. regieleki just slams this. Icicle Crash is Weavile's main source of damage, picking up OHKO's on Moltres-G, Naganadel, and Regidrago. Here mention about Triple Axel being its strongest STAB move and ignoring the effects of Yache Berry Zygarde and Whismicott. Knock Off is another strong STAB attack, that is good at removing items on Pokemon that rely on them like Porygon-2 and Cresselia, as well as threatening OHKO's on Mew, Metagross, and Regieleki. Protect allows Weavile to PP stall an opponent thanks to its ability Pressure. If the opponent is locked into a move with low PP, protecting will cause them to run out of PP and struggle, making the game much easier to win. 100% true but not worthy of mentioning since Weavile is too frail for that. Mention instead it being a priorities target due to it being great offensively. Ice Shard is Weavile's main source of speed control, allowing it to pick up easy kills on Zygarde and Landorus, as well as clean up anything that may have been weakened. Weavile has maximum Attack and a Life Orb to enhance its offensive pressure whilst 224 Speed EVs allow it to outpace Naganadel; the remaining is placed into HP for extra bulk.

Before you begin, state what archetype you would see Weavile on Due to having Fake Out, Weavile works very well when paired with other offensive Pokemon exampels?. Fake Out allows Weavile to nullify opponents that can OHKO your ally, allowing you to fire off strong attacks without needing to worry about being hit first. Weavile It can also be used well with redirectors like Blastoise and Togekiss, which allow Weavile to live longer. Say what Weavile does in return for these examples e.g Nailing Rillaboom for Blastoise or Hitting Naganadel for Togekiss. Other Pokemon that work well as teammates are Fairy-types that help deal with powerful Fighting- and Rock-type Pokemon such as Diancie, as well as Pokemon that use powerful spread moves such as Galarian Moltres or Volcanion. name these that help against Moltres and Volcanion such as Wide Guard users or Tapu Fini because if any of the opponents live, Weavile can clean up pretty easily. Due to Weavile's poor bulk and defensive typing, Weavile is incredibly weak to Pokemon that outspeed it. Pokemon like Regieleki, Zeraora, Choice Scarf Tapu Lele, and Whimsicott make it extremely difficult for Weavile to get any attacks off, so Weavile can also benefit from Tailwind support. from who?
Mention Fire- and Fighting-type teammates Incinaroar, Pheromosa, and Cinderace that can all deal with opposing Steel-types
Mention Naganadel as one its best teammates as it deals with Fairy-types and some Steel-types.
Always mention what Weavile can do back for teammates like Weavile beating Nihilego and Landorus for Naganadel

Triple Axel can be used over Icicle Crash for more damage, and a better matchup against Pokemon holding a Yache Berry, such as Whimsicott and Moltres-G. You do sacrifice a lot of accuracy for this boost, so it can be inconsistent.As this is on the main set it needs to be in set comments Poison Jab can be used to have an easier time against Fairy types, but usually you won't want to drop anything for it. Low Kick is another coverage option, allowing you to hit Dark-, Rock-, and Steel-types. Most notably this gives allows Weavile to OHKO non-Chople Berry Heatran, and has a roll to KO non-Chople Berry Offensive Kyurem-B. every Kyurem-B is either Chople or bulky so a meh mention

Checks and Counters
===================

**Tapu Lele**: Tapu Lele commonly runs a Choice Scarf, which when combined with its Psychic Surge ability make it very difficult for Weavile to outspeed, as it can't use Fake Out or Ice Shard, and gets easily OHKO'd by Moonblast.

**Regieleki**: Weavile can't KO Regieleki with Fake Out into Ice Shard, and is always KO'd by Modest Life Orb Thunderbolt.

**Faster Foe and Speed control**: Combine your Tapu Lele point and Regieleki point into one here, also mention opposing tailwind from Whismicott or Mew. Also mention Fake Out Zeraora and other Choice Scarf users like Genesect.

**Intimidate**: Pokemon with the ability Intimidate make it much harder for Weavile to deal it's normal damage. Most commonly seen from Incineroar, and Landorus-T, the attack drop allows Landorus-T to live an Ice Shard, this gets Icicle Crashed and Incineroar to be 3HKO'd by Low Kick.

**Fairy- and Steel-types**: Weaviles main burden is not making progress against things like Diancie, Tapu Fini, Ferothorn, Celesteela etc. Mention why these blank Weavile.

QC 2 here, sorry about the delay! Let me know when you've looked through this, I'll do another (hopefully shorter) check and it should be good to go

Set:
- Very minor thing but 24 HP EVs minimize Life Orb recoil, the other 8 EVs can go into Speed or even Defense / Special Defense

Set Comments:
- Weavile as a great Pokemon in 2v2 is overselling it a bit
- OHKO's -> OHKOs
- that is good at removing -> removing
- Mention Indeedee-F as a target for Knock Off
- Remove the mention of Pressure stall that would be relevant if it was sub + protect
- kills -> KOs
- You already mention Triple Axel for (Yache Berry) Zygarde and you outspeed Landorus, so this is only really picking off Pheromosa (Fake Out + Ice Shard) after Fake Out / random chipped foes. I'd say move this to Other Options
- very slight EV update, mention the Speed benchmark is overshot a little

- Metagross deals with Fairy-types and Rock-types fairly well on its own, that's more something that it helps Weavile with. Put some examples like Togekiss / Diancie / Nihilego / Tyranitar as well
- What does Weavile help Metagross with? (Ground-types)
- Mention the utility of Water-types like Blastoise / Tapu Fini against Fire-types, and Tapu Fini / Togekiss versus Fighting-types
- Togekiss can tank Sludge Bomb from Naganadel fairly easily, mention Metagross instead
- Mention Pheromosa as a faster threat, probably the most threatening to Weavile of them all
- Talonflame allowing Weavile to outspeed Regieleki + dealing with Steel-and Fighting-types seems huge
- Galarian Zapdos dissuading Incineroar + dealing with Fighting / some Steel / seems p good
- Mew / Togekiss are slow for Tailwind setters, they're far from immediate - seems like a good place to put Talonflame
- Another partner that's good into Regieleki / Zeraora would be nice

Other Options:
- Specify which Fairy-types Poison Jab helps with (Mainly Tapu Fini / non-Choice Scarf Tapu Lele)
- Same thing with Low Kick

Checks / Counters:
- Foe -> Foes
- Icy Wind Pheromosa, Electroweb Regieleki, Gale Wings Talonflame Tailwind are all speed control worth mentioning
- You have a good chance KO Mew and have faster Fake Out, not an issue idt
- Separate Fairy / Steel, add Fighting and Fire

This is pretty good now, no issues with content other than grammar things. Sorry about the delay on this part!

Set Comments:
- Porygon-2 -> Porygon2, Galarian-Zapdos -> Galarian Zapdos

Other Options:
- Ice shard -> Ice Shard, Ice Shared -> Ice Shard
- Start of every check / counter should be capitalized
- fairy-type -> Fairy-type
- OHKOd -> OHKOed
