[SET COMMENTS]

Galarian Weezing's niche in Ubers comes from its physical bulk, support moves, and Neutralizing Gas, which lets it escape from Shadow Tag and Arena Trap without having to run Shed Shell, letting it check physical attackers while providing support with its utility moves. Will-O-Wisp allows Galarian Weezing to hinder physical attackers like Zacian-C, Zamazenta, and Gyarados. Aromatherapy allows Galarian Weezing to provide cleric support. Defog can be used instead, although Galarian Weezing faces competition in this role from Mandibuzz and Corviknight. Strange Steam is a STAB move that hits most foes for decent damage, especially targets like Zamazenta. Flamethrower can be run instead to pressure Steel-types like Zacian-C, Ferrothorn, and Aegislash. Pain Split gives it a form of recovery and is a good move to use when you predict that Eternatus may switch in. Running Strange Steam and Flamethrower on the same set allows Galarian Weezing to hit Steel-types while still being able to pressure Hydreigon, Haxorus, and Gyarados.

Galarian Weezing fits on balanced and defensive teams that want a supporter unaffected by Shadow Tag. Something that can pivot into or revenge kill Eternatus makes for a good teammate; examples of this include Toxapex and Tyranitar or revenge killers such as Zacian-C, Ditto, and Sand Rush Excadrill. A switch-in to Ground-type moves, like Mandibuzz or Corviknight, is necessary as well. If not running Flamethrower, it can be beaten by Ferrothorn and Corviknight, so a check to these such as Eternatus or Gothitelle is appreciated. Galarian Weezing only really serves as a soft check to physical attackers, so additional checks to threats such as Zacian-C are warranted, such as Quagsire.

This is QC ready. This mon has a lot of options so I'd really appreciate QC team's help. Questions for QC:
  • How does the slashing look, selection of moves good? I considered de-slashing aromatherapy, also considered mentioning taunt and toxic spikes but those are kinda bad. There is definitely merit to running Strange Steam and Flamethrower on the same set too imo, hopefully I managed to convey that
  • Is Levitate worth mentioning at all? In my experience no, since most of the things that run Ground moves have other ways of beating you, and you have to run shed shell with it to actually escape the goth.
  • Should I add a line mentioning how Neutralizing Gas can also disable Strong Jaw, Gorilla Tactics, and prevent Intrepid Sword from activating, letting it check those physical attackers better. I couldn't think of a good way to word this
Thanks a lot!

Not qc but some suggestions
  • Ground checks like Corviknight / Mandibuzz seem like a good idea to mention in team options
  • I think it's a bit wack to suggest Toxapex / Eternatus as partners, double poison stacks weaknesses and they also kinda serve similar roles such as checking fightings / setting tspikes
  • I would remove Zacian-C / Excadrill as examples of Pokemon that are hit by wisp / fire blast, since you'd never want to stay in on those
  • Likewise, I think you want to emphasize Weezing's poor spdef a little bit more; it takes a ton from Hydreigon's coverage, for example, so it's not very relevant that Strange Steam hits that because it'll usually be KO'd first. A better list of examples might be something like Zamazenta / Tyranitar / Mandibuzz / Dragapult / Haxorus, or just say that it's nice as a STAB attack with decent bp.
  • I would definitely give Taunt and Toxic Spikes a mention, although not necessarily slash them. Probably Haze too.
  • The spread could use 60 Speed EVs in order to outspeed Corviknight.

and its ability Neutralizing Gas, which lets it escape from Shadow Tag and Arena Trap without having to run Shed Shell,

I just want to point this out: Levitate lets it escape Arena Trap too.

Weezing looks like a hard mon to write about. I think Aromatherapy is what we should be defining for its usage, there is a extreme lack of clerics in Gen 8 that are viable, weezing is one of the few. Id personally drop defog, there is plenty of anti hazard options that it pairs well with such as Corviknight and Mandibuzz. I dont think levitate should get mentions, the premier offensive ground (excadrill) is part steel type anyways so its in ur best interest to switch out.

Implement these changes and ill look into a stamp

Implemented some changes here. Made Aromatherapy the primary move on the set, but I thought Defog was good enough to leave as a mention, but I could remove it. Didn't mention Taunt or Toxic Spikes as I still think they're pretty bad, and Haze seems hard to slot. Gave more focus as Ground immunities for partners too.

This is hella long... can we reduce this by like 40-50%? The prose and content descriptions are pretty well done for full analysis standards but not for a preview - we're supposed to be in the 6-8 lines area but i don't mind a little leeway on this. My suggestion would be to write more "to the point" and drop anything not strictly necessary.

Trimmed this down a lot while keeping most of the important stuff. Mostly just made it less wordy but did remove certain details, hopefully the length is more reasonable now.

Why'd you leave the Arena Trap bit in? Levitate nullifies that too, so I fail to see the point of mentioning Arena Trap.

If I didn't mention Arena Trap, it might mislead people into thinking that Neutralizing Gas doesn't allow Weezing to escape from Arena Trap. I wanted to mention that Weezing can escape Arena Trap without bringing up Levitate and this seemed like the least clunky way to do it.

Don't forget that I changed the "in on" to "into" in this sentence.
