Welcome to the National Dex Monotype Forum!

This thread is our main index, and will hold a history of announcements for National Dex Monotype.

If you're new, this thread should be able to direct you to the various resources we have to help you get started, as well as other interesting information about National Dex Monotype's history! If you have any questions after reading through this thread and checking out the resources, please ask them in the simple questions thread.

National Dex Monotype Forum Rules
  • All global rules apply.
  • You need approval before posting a thread. Start a conversation with style.css, Neko and Mateeus to submit your thread idea first.
  • Do not make meaningless or one-line posts.
  • Be nice to one another!
  • Cheating in National Dex Monotype tournaments will lead to being banned from our subforum tournaments.

Policy for Cheating in Tournaments
National Dex Monotype will primarily use the Ghosting/Cheating policy from the Tournaments Forum.

In short, if you're caught ghosting (helping/playing for another player) or cheating in any way (as interpreted by our forum moderation team) in one of our tournaments you will be banned from National Dex Monotype-related tournaments/events for 6 months.

Tour banned users may still participate in the discussion in the main Monotype room on Pokemon Showdown, but their scores will not be counted in events (such as the Monotype Best Leaderboard Tour).

Tour banned users may also still participate in forum projects/discussions and suspect tests.
