Welcoming back Lou, ASB style!

It is said that the greatest pleasures in life are the unexpected ones. If so, the return of a friend thought lost must truly be a great joy, and cause for celebration. And what better celebration than a great battle?

Tomohawk ♀ - Pumyra
Nature: Modest (SpA: +1, Atk: -1)
Type: Flying / Fighting
Flying Type - Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks outside extremely odd circumstances even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Enhanced aerial mobility. Superior senses in open air arenas.
Fighting Type - Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions of throwing/grappling moves. Superior reaction time in close quarters.

Abilities:
Intimidate - (Can be Activated) When this Pokemon initially goes out into the battlefield, it generates an intimidating roar or war cry that shakes all opponents on the battlefield, reducing thier Attack stage by one (1). The attack drop is maintained at the end of each round. If an opponent switches in a new Pokemon, Intimidate can be activated again as an Action, and will affect all opponents.
Prankster - (Innate) The Pokemon is always prepared for engaging in sneaky tactics and trickery, giving its non-damaging attacks an increase in priority level.
(DW) Justified - (Innate) This Pokemon's body reacts to dark energy, invigorating its passions. When hit by a Dark-type move, the Pokemon's attack will increase one (1) stage. A boost gained this way by an opponent's attack will be maintained at the end of each round. Self-targeted attacks do not maintain boosts.

Finding reprieve in the necessities, Pumyra prefers to live simply and honestly. The falliables of others are of little weight on her mind; one day leads into the next eventually, but not right now. In battle, Pumyra takes her time and etches her advantages to last - no point in anything that doesn't last longer than it takes to create.

Bellistar was a sort of privileged birth—specially selected from a clutch for use by a battling trainer. Compensating for her standing is often difficult, and she finds herself leaving things unmentioned out of fear of being perceived as uppity or snobbish.
[a]Sableye[/a]

Sableye ♂ - Washington
Nature: Brave (Atk: +1, Spe -7, Evasion -10%))
Type: Dark / Ghost

Stall - (Innate) This Pokemon has a watchful eye and immense patience. It can be ordered to attack last on any action regardless of ordinary attack priority. If an opponent orders their Pokemon to attack after Sableye, that attack will fail. Against another Sableye, the trainer who issues attacks first has precedence and the opponent's attack will fail.

An utter scoundrel, Washington is easily swayed by the charms of others. Attempting to work his charms on others carries mixed results, but he still puts out a solid effort in battle... Presuming that the foe hasn't wiled him with its charms.

I have little to no items and a giant team disadvantage woo yeah

Empoleon:

Ice Beam (Togekiss) - Scald (Togekiss) - Ice Beam (Togekiss)

IF Togekiss is under the effects of a successful Protective/Evasive action THEN redirect to Tomohawk.

Gallade:

Light Screen - ThunderPunch (Togekiss) - Ice Punch (Togekiss)

IF Togekiss would be under the effects of a successful protective/evasive action THEN redirect to Tomohawk A2 and A3.

fuck my usual formatting I haven't slept in like two days

Light Screen will get irritating, but we'll adapt.

Pumyra - Sunny Day | Quash (Blade Man) | Heat Wave

Camille - Heat Wave | Encore (Blade Man) | Heat Wave

Lou's cunning plan certainly has worked, but a timely miss and the Light Screen have spared Espy from worse waters.

Where's Pumyra's Imtimidate? The first activation is mandatory and requires no activation.

8h6y8.png

Set up in his face! Keep him reacting to us; we can't allow these two any downtime!

Pumyra - Taunt (Blade Man) | Air Slash (Blade Man) | Aura Sphere (Bubble Man)
First, if Blade Man would use a protective / evasive action when you would Taunt, Taunt Bubble Man and push actions down.
Second, if Blade Man would use Magic Coat when you would attempt to Taunt him, Air Slash him instead and push actions down.

Camille - Tailwind | Air Slash (Blade Man) | Sky Attack (Blade Man)
First, if Bubble Man uses Agility in its boosting capacity, Thunder Wave him only once.
Second, if Bubble Man attempts Yawn on action 2 or 3, Air Slash him that action and push actions down.

Lou's right on Intimidate

pulling a Yarnus here because I really just don't care to deal with Togekiss right now

Gallade:

Focus Punch combo (Togekiss) - Cooldown (ThunderPunch Togekis) - Ice Punch (Tomohawk)

Empoleon:

Ice Beam (Togekiss) - Yawn (Tomohawk) - Ice Beam (Tomohawk)

Lou takes his focus away from Gallade for a moment, and the bladed mon repays him in kind with a strong King's Punch, that knocks out Camille. Pumyra manages to keep some advantage, but she is the one who exits the brawl looking worse for wear.
