Well This Is All Fun And Games

So I made this team for fun. I've gotten results ranging from winning 6-0 to losing 5-0. I;m curious to see what anyone thinks can improve it without changing it too much, because the team is really fun to play with (that's what she said.)

Allergy Warning (Whimsicott) (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Prankster
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Memento
- Giga Drain
- Stun Spore
- Leech Seed

The main reason I wanted to use this guy was because I noticed he got Memento with Prankster and thought that would be really fun to use. The magic really happened when I started using him though. Stun Spore puts a hitch in a lot of pokemon's plans, while Prankster makes sure I go first unless there's a faster priority user on the field, and Leech Seed isn't used often, but can be a nice boost to the next pokemon that comes in, or it can force a switch through fear of the health loss and regen. Giga Drain is there mainly to not be completely shut down and being able to stay in a little longer if possible. The real fun part however, is Memento. This can be great fun with Prankster and a Sash because if something is to try and OHKO me after paralyzing it or something, I can sacrifice him and leave a nasty surprise for the attacker. It's really useful later on in the game, but can be nice at the beginning if you need to build momentum.

Cave Story (Mandibuzz) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Impish Nature
- Defog
- Knock Off
- Roost
- Foul Play

This is a pretty standard Mandibuzz. She exists to wall physical attackers and to Defog rocks away for Dragonite. Knock off comes in handy for stuff like AV Conkelldurr, Choice Scarfers, and pokemon with offensive items. Round it off with Roost to recover damage and Foul Play to hit what she walls and I think that's a pretty good set.

Battle Points (Scizor) (M) @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Bug Bite
- Aerial Ace

3 words: All. Out. Attack.
Scizor is here to attack and that's all. Most people have Roost on Mega Scizor, but I don't find I need to because I can pass huge Wishes fairly easily. Bullet Punch is obviously the STAB move, and with priority it can be life saver. Superpower doesn't get a Technician boost, but it packs one hell of a hit. It's usually reserved to OHKO Tyranitar, but is also pretty useful in clutch situations, but usually it forces you to switch because then he's left a little crippled. Bug Bite is another STAB and Technician boosted move. Though I will admit that there isn't a lot of use in having it, it's nice to catch Resto-Chesto Rotoms on the switch to eat their berry and cripple their healing capabilities. Aerial Ace is the last move and gets the Technician boost. Usually this catches people off guard because it's not common, and this leads to some nice chances to KO Conkelldurr with little effort, or hit something that resists everything else for some damage.

blissey.gif

Hi Mate (Blissey) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Heal Bell
- Wish
- Seismic Toss
- Stealth Rock

This Blissey supports the team with huge Wish passes and Heal Bells for statuses. I know it's usually a stupid idea to run rocks on a team that has Defog, but hear me out; if I can plan correctly, I can make sure that the opposing team's hazard setter is out of commission, and then SR. The plan for it is basically make sure that there is no hazard risk in his team and then set mine. Seismic Toss is left but that's standard stuff.

latios.gif

Mint Ranger (Latios) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Dragon Pulse
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Psyshock

His name makes more sense as a shiny, but that's not the point.
What we have here is the fasted possible Latios without buffs: Scarfed and Timid. this should outspeed most, if not all of the pokemon you'll face. The moveset is pretty standard: Dragon Pulse for STAB without the shitty effect of Draco Meteor, Ice Beam to hit Lando and Chomp, Thunderbolt hits any water pokemon for huge damage at least, and Psychock to get around special walls and AV Conkelldurr if I haven't remedied it.

dragonite.gif

Fluffy (Dragonite) (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Extreme Speed
- Outrage
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake

Bulky Band Dragonite is my favorite set. As long as he doesn't get hit with Rocks (which he shouldn't) he's almost guaranteed to at least dent something to the ranks of death fauder. ESpeed is really nice because it can pick off weakened 'mons and is higher than Talonflame on the priority bracket. Outrage is there over Dragon Claw because I'm stuck using one move anyway, might as well make it big! This KOs so many things, and leave a huge dent in everything else that gets hit by it. Fire Punch is mainly to deal with Ferro. It's a shame that Iron Barbs will break my Multiscale, but I can switch out and Wish it back later. EQ deals with the Aegislash that I don't wanna risk touching, along with a few fire types like Darmanitan.

First at all replace focus sash in whimsicott and put leftovers. There is no sense here using any defensive pokemon with a sash. If you put defensive EVs that is because you want survive hits so you dont need it. Aerial ace is a gimmick you dont need it, replace for knock off.

Whimsicott uses a shash so that I can switch him in and then Memento. It's surprisingly helpful.

As for Aerial Ace, I might do that if I notice it's not being helpful, but so far it's seen it's fair share of use (more than Superpower actually).

I see then. You can keep aerial ace if you want but knock off, pursuit and even swords dance are options. Also about the sash do you even activate it? If whimsi main use is memento, then I see leftovers doesnt have an use. I see how blissey works for a special wall, but you could try this EV spread: 252 def 252 special def. Also you can try chansey too, which we must admit is much better than blissey. Post some logs for we having a better idea on your team. Good job so far :). Ah one more thing yet. Use mandi with foul play OR knock off you will need taunt.

Thanks for the ideas!

The sash actually activates a fair number of times surprisingly. It's more of an insurance policy to make sure I can cripple the attacker.

I was looking at giving Blissey some defense EVs, but I don't personally like the idea of trying to help it's miserable defense when I can just switch to a better option.

As for Mandi, I'll keep taunt in mind, but I don't think I'll need it because of Heal Bell and Defog. The only remaining problems are stat boosters, which I've only had about two battles where taunt could have saved me.

Ok then! Just saying taunt is good in dealing with hazard mons.It would be even better with toxic, but with defog we would have 4MSS. Homewer, if you dont feel like taunt try toxic too. Roost+ toxic stall is awesome and this forces switchs, so knocking off is very easy.
