we're entering the snowstorm...

Now for a team I've been wanting to add on here for a while a Hail team this one will be fun because I am a fan of all Ice types but Dark types will always be my favorite. Ice types and me have also developed a bond...

with that said lets me show you my team.

a pretty good set put together so far...

Frosty(Abomasnow)M@Leftovers
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252Hp, 4Def, 252SpD
Nature: Sassy

~ Leech Seed
~ Protect
~ Wood Hammer
~ Blizzard

Here's a Standard set for a Leech Seeding Abomasnow. Can last against the likes of Jolteon and can actually set up and have a Fighting chance. Leech seed not only restores himself but the other non Ice allies on this team. on the chance the opponent doesn't switch. Protect gives Frosty a extra chance to recover (with that typing it's not very likely). Wood Hammer a STAB and it hits pretty hard on the Water types like Gastrodon. Blizzard another STAB with perfect accuracy in the weather great power and it hits Ground Types like Gliscor and can resist Ice Fang and Earthquake which are two moves Standard Gliscors are known to have. As for how it comes in I would start by protecting to scout out the leads set and switch to a good counter or if I feel like predicting the opponents switch I would use Leech Seed and then switch out (both ways are probably risky due to Frosty's Typing).

Floataria(Jellicent)F@Rocky Helmet
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 252Hp, 216SpD, Spe40
Nature: Calm

~ Acid Armor
~ Scald
~ Taunt
~ Recover

I want to keep the style of the set but I am putting a little of Howard's set in the mix of it and I made a slight change to things I give her Cursed Body instead of Water Absorb mainly because this team keeps water types at bay so it wouldn't be as necessary. Acid Armor makes Floataria very bulky against my opponents attacks and now with Cursed Body she can also force a switch. Taunt will stop Skarm-Bliss Combos on the opponents side and maybe get a free turn to set up. Scald a STAB move which can cripple Physical attackers and give them more residual damage. Recover Finally heals of the residual damage she could take. She is an excellent spin blocker against Excadrill, Hitmontop and Starmie.

Gretchen(Conkeldurr)F@Choice Band
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252Hp, 252Atk, 4Spe
Nature: Adamant

~ Superpower
~ Mach Punch
~ Stone Edge
~ Payback

Surprised...? Me too... a Female Conkeldurr. It doesn't matter if it a boy or girl if she can take care of rock type she is alright in my book. Superpower a superb STAB that Brings Excadrill and Vaporeon to their knees. Mach Punch almost always OHKOs Excadrill when Guts is in effect a sweet priority move Stone Edge hits Ice types and Spiritomb with potent damage. Payback allows coverage for ghosts namely Dusknoir for a 2HKO - 3HKO. the speed EVs allows Gretchen to out speed Ferrothorn and Hippowdon. Main threats I would have to say are bulky water types, Gliscor and Skarmory the next pokemon fixes that problem.

604.gif

Scott(Eelektross)M@Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252Hp, 252SpA, 4SpD
Nature: Modest

~ Thunderbolt
~ Hidden Power Ice
~ Flamethrower
~ Grass Knot

Scott the Eelektross another really awesome pokemon I just wanted to try out and the perfect remedy to Gretchen counter problem...

Thunderbolt is a awesome STAB to dispose of water types like Gyarados or other Bulky waters like Jellicent. Hidden power Ice takes care of Gliscor and Landorus not that they weren't any less of a problem to him. Flamethrower is for Grass Types like Chlorophyll Venusaur that could sway the weather war to sunny weather and it also hit bug pokemon for a great deal of damage. Grass Knot finally take care of the Second addition of Bulky waters like Quagsire and Gastrodon. Making for an interesting battle...

Sniffles(Beartic)M@Charti Berry
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 100Hp, 252Atk, 156Spe
Nature: Adamant

~ Icicle Crash
~ Shadow Claw
~ Superpower
~ Protect

Anyone remember this Beartic it the very same one for my first rain team this time around he has his Standard ability and a New move set and just because I need one pokemon that won't take damage from the Hail. Icicle Crash an awesome STAB that can take care of Thundurus, Tornadus, Landorus, Hydregon and Whimsicott and some of the other OU pokemon very handy in the heat of battle. Shadow Claw hits Chandelure and Jellicent that would try to absorb Icicle Crash. Superpower hits Ferrothorn and Bisharp and other Steel types that would resist Shadow Claw finally protect is to scout around and also stall with the residual damage running amock and also stall Trick rooms.

227.gif

D.S.K.(Skarmory)F@Shed Shell
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252Hp, 252Def, 4SpD
Nature: Impish

~ Spikes
~ Roost
~ Brave Bird
~ Whirlwind

Finally to withstand damage from the likes of Dragons I am trying the Skarmory set New World Order recommended for my Sun team which can take care of Fighting types like Conkeldurr and set up entry hazzards. Spikes although non-Toxic could be of big help to Frosty Roost heal off the residual from the Hail. Brave Bird hits Conkeldurr and other Fighting types with a good deal of damage. Whirlwinds Phaze setup pokemon and can cause some Excessive damage from Spikes and Hail Shed Shell is my choice to get away from Magnet Pullers and Mean Lookers and also because it would seem spammy to have three Leftovers pokemon on one team I do have that feeling that three leftovers on one team is banned.

well that my Signature weather Team give some Recommendations and ideas I would like to know where some flaws are on this team probably fix it to make my team a bit better I have thought hard on the Choices for this team this time around. Thank you and Goodnight ^v^

Hi there, nice hail team, and probably one of the first I've seen to use a Beartic. Personally, I would recommend a Mamoswine:

Mamoswine @ Life Orb / Choice Band
Adamant / Jolly
252 Atk / 252 HP or Spe / 4 Def
-Ice Shard
-Icicle Crash
-Earthquake
-Super Power / Stone Edge

Well ummm this doesn't look much like a real "hail" team to me. You don't have much Pokemon that really take advantage of it, other than Frosty himself and Sniffles, who is quite frankly outclassed by Mamoswine anyway... I mean, I'll still give it a shot but really this is more of just a team with a weather changer on it. Not that it couldn't work mind you. It just doesn't seem much like a true Hail team.

I'll give it a whirl since I'm not good at finding problems just by looking at them. I'll give suggestions after I've tested it a bit.

EDIT: After having tested it for a few matches, I don't know what to say. I can't suggest a few changes to make it better: it needs a complete rework. It has crap resistances, your item choices make no sense (how come none of your walls have leftovers to negate hail damage??? You realize item clause isn't in effect right?"

your attackers don't have enough speed to defeat the opposition immediately, and don't have any recovery options. They get worn down or flat out KO'd too quickly. Your Defensive core is ok, but again it needs LEFTOVERS so it doesn't get raped by your own dang hail. Your team is extremely weak to entry hazards (Especially toxic spikes) and NEEDS a rapid spinner. Status is a huge problem for your entire team except Skarmory. You have no SR, so your opponent is welcome to switch as much as they want with the many Pokemon immune to spikes. Overall your team is very fire and sun weak, so if anything happens to Jellicent (which it will since it HAS NO LEFTOVERS) your entire team is pretty much fucked over by any fire type (especially if it's a special attacker) that comes along.

And finally and most importantly, your team has very little synergy. You might say you spent a lot of time thinking it out, but in practice they work as if they were just a bunch of random Pokemon thrown together.

Alright, review/rant finished.

EDIT2: oh yeah, and the Hail actually hurts your team more than it helps it.

Umm... isn't this like the 3rd team you've posted this week? It'd probably be easier if you made a team you like and stuck to it for a while, by getting familiar with your team, you're sure to get more wins. Making new ones over and over again means you need to fix up team synergy over and over again.

Anyways. Your team has a serious problem against sun teams, fire types in general really. I suggest using a CM Latias in place of Elektross, who really isn't that good an OU poke anyway. Latias keeps the offensive presence, and adds that all important fighting resist and ground immunity. Roar allows you to abuse Spikes to the max. Latias makes for a great check to Reuniclus as well, who would otherwise give your team problems. Also wins CM wars against just about everyone in the game (yeah it wins them in Ubers as well).

Latias @ Leftovers
Levitate
Timid
252 SpA/ 252 Spe/ 4 Hp
Dragon Pulse
Calm Mind
Recover
Roar

Another thing is that like people have already stated, Mamoswine outclasses Beartic. Its got better stats, access to Stealth Rock, and a devastating second STAB. Mamoswine is a better choice for revenge killing dangerous threats such as Thundurus and Landorus. Earthquake allows it to pummel through many pokes, especially those steel types that plague hail teams. I also suggest running Stealth Rock. There's really no reason not to use rocks on any team, as it just gives you so much momentum, turns 3HKOs into 2HKOs, and 2HKOs into OHKOs, also means your opponent's Volcorona doesn't switch in like every 2 seconds, since the only poke on your team it can't utterly destroy is Jellicent.

Mamoswine @ Life Orb
Snow Cloak
Adamant/ Jolly
252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 Hp
Ice Shard
Earthquake
Icicle Crash
Stealth Rock

This is just a bad team. None of your members bar Beartic and Abomasnow are remotely helped by hail, and the team is generally lacking in defensive or offensive synergy.

For example, LO Latios can completely tear your team apart seeing as Skarmory is defensive. Jellicent is a joke, it can't do anything to Latios.

My advice? Stop making teams with concepts and sets pulled out of thin air. Put some actual thought and do some real, solid testing before posting RMTs. It's getting bothersome reading your RMTs, to be honest.

For now, so that this post is constructive, change Conkeldurr to a Flame Orb set, to make him a more effective revenge killer that's less prone to being set up on. No Excadrill is going to switch in or stay in on Conkeldurr.

Also, swap Jellicent for Specially Defensive Heatran. This solves your weakness to things like Hydreigon and Latios, and Heatran is an excellent addition to any Hail team. You may also want totry a CM Latias instead, which forms an excellent defensive core in tandem with Skarmory. With dual phazers, you can rack up tons of residual damage to enable your sweepers to sweep effectively.

Eelektross is too slow and lacking in power to function as your lategame sweeper on this team. Swap him out for Kyurem, which functions extremely well as a special sweeper on hail teams.

As you can see, your team has so many flaws that you should not have posted it in the first place.
