Western Australian Pokemon Tournaments: 08

Hey guys. Happy new year. Upon the advent of this "new year" I have decided to make a new thread regarding the tournaments that I ran during last year. I have only recently just got my internet back, which explains my inactivity. However, it's time. I have trained up a lot of new stuff, and am sick of battling my brother. Okay. Let's go.

What: Pokemon Tournament, Standard Cup format
Tournament Format: Swiss with Top2
Where: Southlands Shopping Centre, Level 1 (Food Court)
When: Saturday 8th March
Time: 10:30am onwards (no definitive finish time)

I reckon Nintendo Australia should have another Connection Tour as they had one for Pokemon XD or something? Well they should really have one for Pokemon Battle Revolution.
 
Why is it that I live in WA yet have never heard of the suburb of "southlands" (if indeed it is a suburb). If you're going to hold a tourney in a place like WA you really can't hold it at "the local shops" it would have to be in the heart of Perth, not somewhere in the 'burbs...
 
They use the Southlands shopping centre (bigger scale than local shops but not exactly Westfield Carousel) because all of the other WA players were able to reach it without undue difficulty and because they can use the food courts for free. Think of it more as a group meeting than an actual competitive tournament per se; there are no entry fees, no prizes, just a meetup as far as I know.

lol, I want to get my qualification to go to Nats early, so I guess I can't make it. I listed the other dates I've been told of so you know if I'll be there or not. I think someone up there doesn't want me to come, the timespan in which there were no WoW tournaments to distract me with was well within the time you lost your internets and the first one of the year starts on the same date as your pokemans. Sorry, man.

I'll try to get a friend of mine to come though, I think he wants to learn to play Pokemon better. :)

Fucking WoW tourneys, seriously every time I schedule one of these theres a damn WoW tourney. But more numbers is good, so k.

I'm sure you've heard of Darkzone, yes? It's the same shoping centre.

I would wager that PBR will be used for a tournament this year. Hopefully it will, because a lot of my new stuff is triple/quadriple flawless. ;D
