We've Got Balls

I made this thread on the Gamefaqs board but failed to receive any intelligent responses, so I came here. This year, I am starting a Pokemon Club at my high school, and we have our first meeting next week. I was trying to think of good ideas for shirts, and I think I came up with something nearly perfect. On the front, it says Pokemon Club and shows a badass picture of Mewtwo. On the back, it reads, "We've got balls" and has a pyramid of pokeballs. You can view it here:

Unfortunately, this idea got rejected by the teacher sponsoring the club, so I need a new idea.

This is my second design, but I don't believe it will be accepted, either.

Any clever ideas that are more appropriate would be greatly appreciated.
 
Lol, that's a interesting idea. I myself doubt that I'd have "the balls" to join a Pokemon club :P. How many people do you have signed up for it?
 
I think it's possible for someone to change your design from that link and save it....I wouldn't link it. I didn't try it though.
 
Right now we have about 20 people in the club, and I'm hoping we could recruit some more.
And yeah, someone can change it and save it but it will create a new link for the redesign. That link will always take me to exactly that design.
 
Yah, I've learned in my school that we've banned double meaning shirts >.> I'd just do something basic but pretty cool. DONT include gotta catch em all or you'll immediately get labled as losers, I've learned that from experience. I'd also stay away from girly Pokemon but you probably already know that. Other than that, I have really no helpful imput, sorry.
 
Yeah "Gotta Catch 'em All" is a definite no-go. That's why I'm trying to think of something the average person would think is cool...while having it allowed in school.

If I quote this, I have bigger balls than you... or, is it the other way around? Either way, we both have huge balls.

Anyway, you shouldn't start a whole Pokemon club without some MAJOR support. Seriously, a minumum of at least 20 people are needed to even start a new club. Also, without at least one person with an extremely high and positive reputation to spread the word. Without those, a club will fall quickly O.o. Also, try to have some lessons on competitive battling O.o.

EDIT: I saw 20 people signed up, disregard the first part :/.
 
My friends and I tried something like this, and failed, but good luck to you guys!

For a shirt idea... I say put a Garchomp ready to attack (if you can somehow show it used swords dance, that helps) with a sandstorm in the background and something like: "You feeling lucky, Punk?" or whatever the quote actually is, with a Pikachu cowering in fear. You should probably ask your club for ideas though, you guys are going to be WEARING these shirts after all. I say pick a strong OU pokemon, or one you guys like, and go from there.
 
I'd say Mewtwo just because most non-competetive players identify him as the most badass Pokemon in history. Charizard comes to mind second. Anything after 1st gen should be a no-go. Legendaries and powerful looking 600 BST pokemon should also count count. (Tyranitar and Metagross come to mind)
 
Posting to say that the first T-shirt is pretty awesome. "We've got balls" describes a high school pokemon club in oh so many ways...if I think of anything to help your cause I'll edit it into my post.
 
Well obviously it's got to be something that most people will understand, so no Boah jokes or anything. I suppose you could have a picture of mewtwo and text saying "pokemon club - it's uber"
 
You can always steal tenchi's "In my defense...176 EVs" (one half on the front, one half on the back). It was an idea I submitted for Smogon's T-shirts, whatever the hell happened to the organisation of that this time...

This. I would've actually bought one of those as well :( (I wanted to buy Zerowing's design too but my card isn't accepted on that website...)

Haha, wow, this site is fucking awesome. Kudos to the person who designs these.

IMO innuendo to slang words is kinda on the border here, and deep references to the metagame is going to make people go WTF when they see the shirt (unless that's you're purpose.)

Is this mainly for advertisement or representation?
 
Use my art, everyone will want to wear it. :V

Ego trip aside, something about a T-shirt being a hold item, pushing the truck near the S.S. Anne, "We've got Mew!" (if it's true), or "Back in my day, we swept teams in six turns with Hyper Beam!" Just some ideas.
 
If you go with the Defense EVs idea, I think it would be better like this.

Front:

Yes, I play Pokemon.

In my defense...

Back:

... 176 EVs.
