Whare you sopposed to open shoddy with?

When i download shoddy, it says what should I open open shoddy with and i choose internet explorer and now it won't open.

You probably don't have Java installed--download it, install it, and then try again.

I already downloaded java and it wants me to open it with something and i still don't know what

If you can find something called Java Web Start when it asks you to open it with something, open it with that.
