What The Heck!?!?!?!? Tyranitar is going UBER on Smogon now =/

This is not MY Team. It is my friends Draconas' Team and I'm posting it because he can't make a account here. That is all and read on :)

Well not really I can happily tell you that Tyranitar hasn't gone uber ^^

But since I have gotten your attention I would really appreciate it if you had a read of my team and rated it. Please remember to give constructive feedback and not just say a number out of 10 as that is not what I am looking for. Enjoy reading the team.

Froslass@Focus Sash
Nature: Timid
Trait: Snow Cloak
EV's: 252 HP/ 4 DEF / 252 SPD
~ Thunderbolt
~ Spikes
~ Ice Beam
~ Destiny Bond

Description: Froslass is an ideal lead because of all its great qualities it has. Firstly it is a great Bolt Beamer because it gives alot of type coveredge for all those annoying, common and strong leads. Focus Sash can always guarantee you a hit unless you are facing a sandstorm team. Some of the leads that can be taken out easily by this include Gyarados, Salamence, Breloom and a whole heap more. Destiny Bond is great with Froslass's high speed and can do exceptionally well. However if your opponent doesn't want to lose one of thier pokemon to Destiny Bond they will often keep trying to avoid it, this can incluse repeatedly using moves that don't affect Froslass, switching over and over and also using moves like Stealth Rock over and over again untill Froslass runs out of Destiny Bonds PP which is only 8 with a PP MAX. This is a great time to trick your opponent in thinking that you are just going to keep using Destiny Bond, but actually you can keep slipping in spikes when they least expect it. Thus it can still have some important use and aid your team very effectively.

Rotom-c@Life Orb
Nature: Timid
Trait: Levitate
EV's: 4 HP / 252 SP. ATK / 252 SPD
~ Thunderbolt
~ Hidden Power [ICE]
~ Leaf Storm
~ Shadow Ball

Description: The Special Sweeper of my team, Rotom-c runs a very nice set with great type coveredge that allows you take out some of those really annoying pokemon you just want to get rid of such as Gyarados, Swampert, Starmie, Breloom, Salamence, Tangrowth, Shaymin-s, and a heap load more. Rotom-c also has great speed and can outspeed a number of pokemon. Most opponents can underestimate this and take its speed for granted but they are infact wrong nearly every time (depending on what two pokemon are opposing each other), and get OHKOed. I love having the Levitate and Ghost on it as it can stop my opponent from taking out Lucario, Froslass and Dugtrio via ground type attacks making this a vitally important pokemon in the team. But thats not all, it can also stand for Lucario's fighthing weakness as well with its Ghost type.

Lucario@Life Orb
Nature: Adamant
Trait: Inner Focus
EV's: 4 HP / 252 ATK / 252 SPD
~ Close Combat
~ Extremespeed
~ Crunch
~ Swords Dance

Description: This is the standard SD set for Lucario and is usually brought out late in the game to just rip through teams at the last second crushing all hope of the opponent. It has great type coverdge and can do quite nicely in this team. It is also a great time to switch into it if you suspect the opponent is going to Trick a Choice Band which is usually done by Metagross, when it does pick up Choice Band it can just start ripping through the opponents team even more. The ideal time to switch this in would be when your opponent sends out a tank like Umbreon for example as it would most likely use Curse on the first turn giving you the free switch and then you are free to start SDing up as Umbreon can't do barely anything to Lucario. Then you are basically free to use Extremespeed and sweep the opponent of his/her team.

Zapdos@Leftovers
Nature: Timid
Trait: Pressure
EV's: 252 HP / 160 SP. DEF / 96 SPD
~ Thunderbolt
~ Roost
~ Heatwave
~ Substitute

Description: This set was based around the Subroosting set but with the addition from platinum releases I added Heat Wave over Hidden Power [ICE] as this team already has enough ice attacking moves and not so much fire attacking moves. Zapdos is easily switched into Scizor because it will either be using Swords Dance or Bullet Punch and with Zapos being part Electric Scizor's Bullet Punch doesn't do much to it. The you are free to wipe it away with the unexpected Heat Wave. Another Tactic with this is if you have just over 25% HP you are able to use Sub and then just Roost and gain back 50% of your HP and then get back to taking out as much as you can. The pokemon that Zapdos usually takes out include; Starmie, Scizor, Gyarados and a wide variety of other common pokemon that aren't able to take Electric and Fire attacks. The speed of Zapdos also prooves to be a big play in this set and helps out alot in Zapdos coming out on top over your opponent.

143-m.png

Snorlax@Leftovers
Nature: Careful
Trait: Thick Fat
EV's: 168 HP / 120 DEF / 220 SP. DEF
~ Body Slam
~ Curse
~ Rest
~ Crunch

Description: Curselax, one of the most feared pokemon in the game as it can completely dominate the opponents strategy, thinking and team. This is nearly a guaranteed maxed out Curselax as it can rest whilst having all the added defensive power and with its high HP. Then it will still be able to wake back up and do even more cursing untill it is completly maxed out and is then able to sweep entire teams and take the hits that it gets dealt due do all the cursing, thus Close Combat or any other physical fighting type move isn't enough to OHKO it. Crunch is vital because if Snorlax runs into a Ghost typed pokemon Body Slam will do nothing to is where as Crunch will absoulutely rip it to peices. The (STAB) on Body Slam gives Snorlax that final edge to literally being able to take out full teams. Basically if the opponent lets you fully Curse up it is practically Game Over.

051-m.png

Dugtrio@Choice Band
Nature: Jolly
Trait: Arena Trap
EV's: 252 ATK / 4 DEF / 252 SPD
~ Earthquake
~ Night Slash
~ Aerial Ace
~ Stone Edge

Description: One of the best revenge killers in the entire game. Like all the other pokemon in my team he has great type coveredge and can do an absoulutely superb job. This is usually brought out late in the game like Lucario to crush thier hopes of making a come back and just destroys them. But it can do just as good as it does being brought out early in the game as it does being brought out late in the game which makes this one of the major threats in the team. Stone Edge gets rid of Zapdos, Salamence, and other various flying type pokemon. Aerial Ace is great for just getting those hits in and finishing the opponent off. Night Slash is idealy for taking out Ghost typpe pokemon etc. And Earquake holds that powerful (STAB) boost and allows Dugtrio to unleash alot of attacking power. Dugtro basically helps to tie in the teams offensive and strategic skill behind it with the switching and carefully chosen types.

If you have spotted any changes in the team that need doing then please post it and be sure to post your reason for thinking this and how it will help the team.

Much Appreciated.

There's his team :) I already told him he was ScarfTran weak, but he doesn't believe me. I hope some of you guys can help make him change his mind :)

Zapdos@Leftovers
Nature: Timid
Trait: Pressure
EV's: 252 HP / 160 SP. DEF / 252 SPD <-- fix that please :)
~ Thunderbolt
~ Roost
~ Heatwave
~ Substitute

also if a t-tar gets in a dragon dance you can't do much back
only dugtrio can outspeed and kill it but you can't switch him in

and snorlax is an ok scarftran counter

Please change the colored text, especially for Zapdos and Rotom-C. It is incredibly hard to read, most especially Zapdos.

Froslass lead is interesting, and seems like it's good against all of the suicide Azelf leads lately. You lay down a couple layers of spikes and then if they attack you (and they can't explode, since you're a ghost), you can Destiny bond after being knocked down to 1HP and take them with you.
However, it seems like it'd have MAJOR problems with a Ttar lead. Sandstorm breaks your sash, he'll take nothing from your attacks, he'll easily OHKO you with either of his STAB moves, and he can DD in the face of your Bond attempts. After a couple of Dances, he'll outspeed you and thus can wait for you to use a move other than destiny bond and KO you immediately on the following turn without dying. And then you've got a Multi DD Ttar to contend with with the rest of your team. Rotom is nuked by Crunch, Lucario by EQ, Zappy by Stone Edge, and Snorlax and Dugtrio will die to just about anything with a couple of DDs under his belt.
Your only possible recourse is to immediately switch out to Dugtrio (which risks Frosslass being destroyed by a CB Pursuit, if it turns out it was not DDtar), and hope you can pull off the OHKO (there's a chance of it, but it is not guarnteed). If you can not, you lose your 'trio and have to Extremespeed with Lucario to finish the job.

Oh, and my other suggestion is that you switch Rotom-C to either carry Charge Beam over Tbolt (so he can boost his special and actually be a sweeper) or switch his item to Choice Specs to increase his damage (this would also allow you to run trick to deal with walls).

Seconding the Choice Specs on Rotom suggestion, and adding that you should max HP instead of Speed. Rotom is far from fast, it's on the Gyarados level, so maxing HP would allow it to take advantage of its great defences.
Also, Hidden Power Ice won't do much against anything, since both STAB normal-effective TBolt and normal effective Leaf Storm are at the same power or stronger then a super effective Hidden Power. I'd say use Trick to allow you to cripple opposing walls or Physical sweepers. For example, if you manage to trick your Choice Specs on a DDMence, you pretty much made it useless.

Edit: Rest Curselax is way too risky in D/P/Pt. With Scizor and DD Mence running around, any one of those could switch in and get a couple attack boosts while you sleep, then sweeping your team. Or even just someone Roaring you away while you sleep.
