Hey all. I really don't do this too often, but I'd figure this team was fun enough to use that others can take this team if they want to get reqs. I really wouldn't recommend it though, as this team has its weaknesses, which is why I bring this for people to have fun with making changes. But I did get reqs with this team, so it isnt impossible to do. And this team doesn't mind about magneton really at all as it has 5 things that can handle it lol.
Mesprit @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 20 HP / 252 SpA / 236 Spe
Timid Nature

Standard-ish spread for Mesprit. Very reliable stealth rocker that can take on malamar and sneasel well. I prefer psychic over psyshock now that av hariyama isn't as relevant, higher base power and hitting gurdurr. An interesting switch would be u-turn for healing wish to get in sawk freely, especially if it can get back to sturdy, but keeping momentum up is always great. Faster spread to outspeed neutral base 90 and stuff in similar speed range, such as kangaskhan, zangoose, garbodor and sawk. It might be advantageous to have uxie over mesprit if you want to also guarantee to outspeed kabutops.
Lanturn @ Leftovers

Also standard-ish spread. Im pretty sure this is the standard lanturn spread, if it isnt then Goomy let me down. But first two move are pretty much obligatory, as the side benefits of both are immensely helpful. I am a fan of duel status to be able to slow down faster threats, as the team is relatively slow, and wear down bulkier pokes (most notably torterra, which can be a problem to team). You can add heal bell in as sawk and exeggutor really do not appreciate status, and can be subbed in over either status move.

Audino that can be a win condition. This is normal audino spread. While I am not a big fan of this poke, as it is easily taken advantage of and cannot be calm minding set up sweepers, it is still a good poke that can 6-0 unprepared teams. It can also handle non sd gallade fairly well, but not reliable. Can also take on non specs magneton if it did not mega evolve, and can usually handle magneton even if mega after a few boosts (though not much can handle audino after a few boosts lol). It's also a secondary switch for sneasel.
Kabutops @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

IVs: 29 HP

Kabutops is a great glue to this team, as its good physical bulk that can take a normal hit or 2, while providing rapid spin support that is very much needed for the team (as t spikes are really annoying). First 3 moves are fairly standard, I like superpower as a strong 100% accurate move to hit normals and non scarfed magneton, though knock off would be very helpful to hit switching in ghosts (though stone edge+ aqua jet makes ghosts a very unreliable switch in in the first place). Jolly to have as much speed as possible, to outspeed the same stuff as mesprit.
Sawk (M) @ Custap Berry
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

Ah the start of the true innovation. non-choiced sturdy sawk is a really fun poke this gen, as the combination of switching up moves and guaranteeing to live a hit is a great trait to have. Just about everyone runs adamant sawk, and as a result, either slower pokes that run +speed nature assume they outspeed (like max speed garbodor, magmortar, mesprit, kabutops) or faster pokes think they can run neutral speed nature to have more powerful attacks (like kangaskan, lilligant, zangoose). This allows me to be a little more aggressive with sawk. CC and knock off are mandatory, ice punch or earthquake can be used over stone edge and zen headbutt, as torterra can be a problem, and zen headbutt isnt that necessary to hit weezing and vileplume as I have 2 psychic types (using jolly really cuts the damage output of non stab moves like zen headbutt on weezing doing less than 40%). Black belt can be used to increase the damage of cc, but custap berry is a very fun move that is very unexpected and also comes into play fairly often with custap berry and hazard control.
Exeggutor @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 244 HP / 168 Def / 96 SpA

The basis of what the team was centered around. I wanted a fun poke to build around for the magneton suspect, and wanted to use specs exeggutor as it wrecks teams. However, I also considered that sub seed exeggutor is pretty nonexistant, as the buff of knock off really dissaudes its use, but is really bulky and can really wear down slow teams. leech seed is a really fun move to use to dissuade bulky sweepers. Substitute and psychic are also pretty much mandatory for the set, as sub will allow you to avoid pokes knocking off your sitrus berry, and psychic off base 125 SpA, even uninvested, will hurt. Hidden power fire is a really fun move that will 2hko ferroseed, sneasel, magneton, klinklang, pawniard etc. I suppose you could use protect to give you more leech seed recovery and better chances to get your sitrus berry activated, or toxic to get put walls such as torterra on timers, but hitting magneton and sneasel are very important. The HP investmest maximizes the sub hp while allowing you to activate your sitrus berry after 2 subs without rocks. The defense investment allows it to live any torterra attack without breaking sub (though you cant do a whole lot to special defensive torterra), and allows you to live stuff such as acrobatics at full from archeops, a life orb sneasel knock off your sitrus berry, as well as allowing you to take strong physical attacks and weak u-turns from uxie. rest of investment is in special attack to get 2hko on sneasel and magneton and hit harder. You can also play somewhat recklessly with this poke faking the choice specs or faster life orb sets on bulky waters and the such, though this really does not appreciate status so watch for that.

Some threats to the team:
Gallade: Really doesnt have a reliable poke that can switch in and threaten it. I built the team before gallade was put in the tier so I was not prepared, and after setting up a swords dance, it can be pretty much gg. Have to use lanturn and exeggutor wisely to determine the set, but something pretty much dies if its bulk up or swords dance. other sets are usually handled by mega audino
Opposing Mega Audino can also be very annoying, as by using jolly on sawk, you will not be doing more than like 35% to audino. leech seed from exeggutor helps wear down mega audino, and kabutops can surprise non mega audino with superpower.
Toxic spikes are very annoying to the team, and puts alot of pressure on mesprit to take out the tspike users and kabutops to spin.
roost-CM-psyshock-giga drain xatu can be a little bit of a problem, but sawk can handle it with custap if it's a fast xatu, otherwise, kabutops and sawk hit the bulkier sets fairly hard.
Special defensive torterra is annoying, but not particularly strong, so usually not a problem. Audino can set up on it.
Gourgeists can be problems, as leech seed on mega audino limits its sweeping capacity, so knock off might be better on kabutops if they are a consistent problem.
Magneton: exeggutor handles non signal beam sets, audino sets up on non specs sets, sawk can knock it out, magneton surprise kills it, and lanturn is lanturn. So Magents is not a problem so not broken.
Again this isnt the best team, but it did alright. Please throw out some advice to better utilize this team. Thanks all!
