what's madison wisconsin like

i was looking at university of m-w today and was thinking of applying

what do you think, native wisconsonites?


also, atlanta- good, no?
 
From Minnesota here...come to the U of M. They eat Beer-Cheese Soup in Wisconsin and wear Cheese on their heads.

I checked it out when looking at colleges, and personally i wasnt impressed. i dunno i guess its all up to opinion on these things but anyways thats my two cents.
 
Well considering I've been to the campus myself and my Mom and several other family members graduated from there/are currently attending, I'd like to think I have a better perspective about it than most people. However, what I like and others like is likely entirely different, so what I think could be far from your opinion. I personally really liked the school, and I think it has a great education system (more CEOs of Fortune 500 companies have graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison than any other college). The campus is pretty big and has tons of stuff to do, as well. Of course, the tuition is pretty pricy and the requirements for getting in are reasonably high. Overall I think it's a great school and you should definetely go if you want to.
