Well the title is a reference to the fact that this team happens to have none of the new pokemon in it, anyways I'm new to team building and could use a hand!
Mega Blastoise@ Blastoisinite Modest Nature
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Sp.Atk, 4 Sp.Def
Scald
Aura Sphere
Dark Pulse
Rapid Spin
I'm surprised I don't see more of this guy, he takes hits like a boss and hits like a truck. I actually prefer his bulk to Greninja's speed. He seems to mainly have a niche as a spinner, but he goes far beyond that. Base 79 speed may not seem impressive, but he actually manages to outspeed some slower things, and with paralysis support, there's not much to do against him.
Blaziken Life orb, Adamant Nature, Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Speed, 4 Hp
Swords Dance
High Jump Kick
Flare Blitz
Earthquake
Simply put when he gets a swords dance, he's extremely hard to stop, however getting said swords dance is often easier said than done. He has speed boost, so I opted for an adamant nature. After a speed boost, he hits 198 speed which outspeeds Greninja, and should outspeed most non-scarfed pokemon
Ferrothorn Rocky Helmet, Impish Nature, Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 Hp, 72 Def, 184 Sp.Def
Power Whip
Spikes
Stealth Rock
Leech Seed
The trap setter, ideally this thing walls and sets up forever, and any spinner loses at least 1/4 of its health doing so. Opted for power whip over gyro ball to hit water types. Leech seed alleviates the lack of leftovers a little bit, and gives him another way to wear enemies down besides by contact.
Excadrill Air Balloon, Jolly Nature, Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Speed, 4 Hp
Swords Dance
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Shadow Claw
I was torn between this guy and Garchomp, but I really like Excadrill for mold breaker and toxic immunity. With ferrothorn, it gives me two steel types, but fighting and fire are mainly handled by togekiss and blastoise. Since I don't use sandstorm, mold breaker is the preferred move. With it, he laughs at Rotom-W and Gengar.
Togekiss Leftovers, Calm Nature, Serene Grace
EVs: 252 Hp, 40 Def, 216 Sp.Def
Roost
Thunder Wave
Air Slash
Dazzling Gleam
Yes, the dreaded ParaFlinch. So annoying but I love it, his bulk just adds to the fun, this guy's one of my most consistent players. I never really loved the idea of an over-specialized wall. Things like skarmory were never successful for me because every person I fight always had mixed attackers, so I tossed some EVs into defense for balance
Gengar Focus sash, Timid Nature, Levitate
Evs: 252 Sp.Atk, 252 Speed, 4 Hp
Shadow Ball
Sludge Bomb
Thunderbolt
Destiny Bond
I had the previous five and thought about what I needed in a sixth pokemon; a speedy special attacker. I also considered sticky web galvantula or Hydriegon but I decided to see where Gengar goes. This set is not final, I could also run black sludge and substitute, but destiny bond is fun to take down things that he normally couldn't
