When Gen 5 comes out

The addition of just Skymin and a bunch of move tutors alone stirring up the metagame like it has already, I started thinking what will happen when the next Gen comes out. Say 100 new Pokemon, a bunch of new type combos and new threats.

Do you think it will be nearly impossible to cover most threats? And it will really be luck of the draw? Or do you think no matter what teams will still be able to be built with Pokemon that can counter enough threats?

I''m thinking if they bring in one or two many things like Skymin S and Garchomp in this next Gen, you will pretty much just have to prepare for a couple of them but be left open to the third ones reign.

It's already impossible to build a team and counter all of the threats this generation has to offer, let alone the following generation. Again, this generation we have now, more often than not, has matches purely decided on the luck of the draw; whether that luck be general hax or team match-ups.

Let's not get carried away here, though. Platinum's release is on the horizon for may countries, so let us concentrate on familiarizing ourselves with what we have now and what's to come in the foreseeable future.
