[OVERVIEW]

• Whimsicott has access to the ability Prankster which is great for stalling.
• With the nerf to Prankster making Dark types immune Whismicott struggles more
• Thanks to access to a wide range of status moves such as encore and taunt Whimsicott can easily stall out set up sweepers and prevent their switch in.
• With Prankster, Whimsicott can safely ignore faster Pokémon and even in a situation where Whimsicott is taunted it can recover using a mental herb.
• When it is forced to attack it can reliably use its 116 base speed to move first against Pokémon with no speed investment.

• Giga Drain is Whimsicott's attacking move that also helps it heal after placing the Substitute.
• Leech Seed allows Whimsicott to heal over time while also being a backup option against Pokémon resisting Giga Drain.
• Substitute is so Whimsicott can stall after setting up.
• Taunt will stop setup sweepers in their tracks and give a reliable switch
  
• Encore can lock the opponent into a status move and give free healing

Set Details
========

• Prankster is the most vital part of this set, it allows Whimsicott to usually move first and protect itself with Substitute.
• Whimsicott has low bulk and with Prankster you will usually be moving first so 252 HP EV's is to maximize general bulkiness along with it's nature and other EVs.

Usage Tips
========

• Either lead with Whimsicott and use it to help a setup sweeper or switch it into a setup sweeper and stop the setup.
• Whimsicott cannot dish out much damage so make sure you have an ally that has the damage dealing capabilities which Whimsicott doesn't.
• Whimsicott should not be switched into super effective hit's if it can be avoided.
• Whimsicott should be switched in a turn after a fake out to use encore on the fake out user effectively crippling it.

Team Options
========

• Whimsicott appreciates type coverage from Pokemon such as Landorus-T, Celesteela or Heatran.
• Whimsicott needs to set up so it could be helped by a Tapu Lele who's Psychic Terrain will stop higher priority moves.
• Whimsicott can be killed by a neutral hit on +3 or above. Whimsicott may need a sash follow me user to neutralise that threat.
