With Urshifu-R being walled by bulky water types such Slowbro, Toxapex, and Tapu Fini; this mon does not have the monstrous wallbreaking ability as its Dark counterpart does. However, with the move Whirlpool and Taunt, Urshifu can lure in mons such as Slowbro and Toxapex (and to an extent Tapu Fini) and trap them, effectively KOing them slowly but surely. With a partner such as Hawlucha, Urshifu-R can exterminate any of Hawlucha's checks such as Slowbro, Toxapex, and Tapu Fini. With the introduction out of the way, let's get into the team!

(just pretend this is rapid strike)
Urshifu-Rapid-Strike @ Payapa Berry
Ability: Unseen Fist
EVs: 184 Atk / 84 SpD / 240 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Taunt
- Whirlpool
- Surging Strikes
- Thunder Punch

This mon acts as a lurer to mons such as Slowbro, Toxapex, and sometimes Tapu Fini (which I will explain soon). Paired with your own Tapu Fini, you are immune to Scald burns from Slowbro and Toxapex. It traps Toxapex extremely well, Whirlpooling first, Taunting second, and then continuously Thunder Punching until Toxapex dies. With Slowbro, it is more complicated. Everyone and their mother runs Future Sight on Slowbro, so it would be harder to trap due to its ability to hit you with a super effective move. This is where the EVs and items come in. With 84 SpD and the Payapa Berry, it allows Urshifu-R to tank two Scalds + one Future Sight (all max rolls) at full health.

0 SpA Slowbro Scald vs. 0 HP / 84 SpD Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 57-68 (16.7 - 19.9%) -- guaranteed 6HKO
0 SpA Slowbro Future Sight vs. 0 HP / 84 SpD Payapa Berry Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 172-204 (50.4 - 59.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

19.9+19.9+59.8=99.6%

With Whirlpool and three Thunder Punches, it is guarenteed to eradicate Slowbro from full. 240 Spe allows Urshifu-R to outspeed Tapu Fini, which can also tank a non-specs Tapu Lele Psychic!

252 SpA Tapu Lele Psychic vs. 0 HP / 84 SpD Payapa Berry Urshifu-Rapid-Strike in Psychic Terrain: 255-301 (74.7 - 88.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Surging Strikes is added as a final move as a high-damage move that can chip other Hawlucha checks such as Aegislash.

Tapu Fini @ Leftovers
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 64 SpD / 192 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt
- Nature's Madness
- Brine
- Draining Kiss

Tapu Fini was chosen alongside Urshifu-R to block the burn status once Urshifu-R attempts to take down its checks. It also benefits Hawlucha acting as its Misty Seed terrain setter, allowing it to sweep. Taunt and Nature's Madness is used to chip down walls to Tapu Fini, such as Ferrothorn and Blissey. Brine is used over Scald/Surf due to the 50% Max HP damage done by Nature's Madness, while Draining Kiss is used for Tapu Fini's survivability paired with its Leftovers recovery.

ferrothorn.gif

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Gyro Ball
- Knock Off

Ferrothorn acts as a pure defensive wall that serves as a Grass/Electric resistance that super effectively hits both Urshifu-R and Tapu Fini. Alongside Tapu Fini, it covers the Fighting/Fire weakness that Ferrothorn has as well. It is the main and only Stealth Rocker on the team, applying pressure to any mon that keeps switching in. Knock Off is used to remove items such as a Zapdos's Heavy-Duty Boots and so on. Gyro Ball is for maximum damage on Fairy types such as Clefable and Tapu Lele.

tornadus-therian.gif

Tornadus-Therian (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
- Icy Wind
- U-turn

Tornadus-T acts as the fasted mon on the team, outspeeding and damaging mons that outspeed the rest of the team such as Garchomp and Latios. Paired with the Assault Vest, it allows it to tank special hits better where Tapu Fini and Rotom-H cannot keep switching in on. Hurricane acts as a high power STAB move, Heat Wave chips down mons such as Aegislash and Ferrothorn, Icy Wind is solely for Garchomp, doing more damage than Hurricane and lowering its speed by one in case it goes for Scale Shot, and finally U-Turn is used for momentum.

rotom-heat.gif

Rotom-Heat @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 92 SpD / 168 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Defog
- Pain Split
- Overheat
- Volt Switch

Rotom-H acts as a bulky pivot, acting as a Defogger and a secondary Electric resist while also being a Flying resist. It also is more SpD since Tapu Fini and Tornadus-T being non-maxxed on the SpD side. With Pain Split, it can gain health back when it is chipped down by constantly switching in into moves. Overheat is used as its primary (and only) fire STAB move, while Volt Switch is used for momentum.

hawlucha.gif

Hawlucha @ Misty Seed
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Acrobatics
- Stone Edge

Hawlucha acts as the late-game sweeper on the team, once its checks were taken care of by Urshifu-R + the rest of the team. Paired with the Misty Seed (courtesy of Tapu Fini) it outspeeds the entire metagame and gives it a bit of a SpD boost to allow it to set up a Swords Dance safely. Close Combat is used as its main STAB move, more powerful than Drain Punch and more reliable than High Jump Kick, Acrobatic is used as a high power secondary STAB move once its Misty Seed is consumed, and Stone Edge is solely used for Zapdos and Moltres.

And with that, that is the team! Feel free to give feedback on it, as it is not the most perfect! Here is the paste: https://pokepast.es/3f0e856164103252
