Who let Gengar in OU? (Bulky Offense/Balance)

Welcome to my first Gen 9 RMT! I'm still pretty inexperienced in competitive play, but I've finally put together a homebrew team. I'm not sure if this qualifies as bulky offense or balance (or something else entirely), but it's been fun and hopefully I can mold it into something even better.

Gengar @ Focus Sash
Ability: Cursed Body
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic Spikes
- Encore
- Shadow Ball
- Destiny Bond

Gengar is a bit of a surprise inclusion in an OU team. He's really fallen from grace as a special sweeper, but there's still impressive utility potential that I think is worth taking advantage of. I was originally using Glimmora as a suicide lead/hazard setter, but I found that she never did much more than vomit up hazards and then die. Gengar does lack Stealth Rock (which I have Iron Treads for), but he's much faster and hits just as hard. The whole team appreciates Toxic Spikes (especially Toxapex), Encore provides a ton of opportunities for Hydreigon and Dragonite to set up, and Destiny Bond acts as a panic button to take out key threats after focus sash is activated.

Iron Treads @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin

Iron Treads is also a curious choice in this meta, especially with Great Tusk available, but my primary thought process here is to utilize his high speed. I've debated swapping in Volt Switch to increase his abilities as a pivot, but the utility of Knock Off is very hard to let go of. I also wonder if he'd be better suited with Leftovers or something else over Heavy-Duty Boots, considering he's resistant to Stealth Rock and immune to Toxic Spikes (could something like Eject Button be viable?). Either way, his primary job is to hop in and spin or set hazards while Earthquake and Knock Off keep him from being passive.

Hydreigon @ Expert Belt
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Flash Cannon

Sub Plot Hydreigon has a ton of type synergy with both Gengar and Toxapex and finds plenty of room to switch in and set up. I know Smogon recommends either a Life Orb or Leftovers, but Life Orb really feels counter-intuitive with Substitute, and Leftovers lacks power. Expert Belt allows a chance for an unboosted Flash Cannon to 2HKO Garganacl (even if he teras to Fairy) who can tear through half of my team with Salt Cure. Eventually I'm going to sit down and work out if there are other benchmarks it hits, but feedback is always appreciated. Otherwise this is a pretty standard set that can sweep worn down teams.

Toxapex @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
IVs: 0 Atk
- Infestation
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Sludge Bomb

The trendy Assault Vest Toxapex does quality work on this team. Sponge most any special attack, trap with Infestation, and wear down. Tox loves the poison from Gengar's Toxic Spikes, has great type synergy with Hydreigon, and is the defensive yin to Dondozo's yang. He's also a solid counterpart to Iron Treads, who can absorb any electric attacks that come his way. Tera Fairy is used primarily to check any dragon attacks aimed at Hydreigon or Dragonite.

Dragonite @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Multiscale
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Extreme Speed
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch

The standard Dragonite set that needs no introduction. With three mons weak to Ground, Dragonite finds plenty of opportunity to come in and set up. Extreme Speed can sweep through teams once checks have been eliminated, while Earthquake and Fire Punch give pretty wide coverage spread. Largely straightforward set.

Dondozo @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Impish Nature
- Liquidation
- Curse
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Finally, Dondozo is an insane physical wall that sets up with Curse and has swept on his own more than once. While Liquidation provides hard-hitting STAB, I also feel like this team would really appreciate Body Press. However, Sleep Talk and Rest feel crucial to the Don's success, so I'm not sure if I could justify replacing them. Tera Dragon flips his weaknesses while maintaining his fire resist. Although the new Dragon weakness can hurt with Dragonite and Hydreigon on the team, it hasn't been difficult to play around.

On paper the team looks good, I like bringing Gengar back.

What I would suggest is trying out a slight variation with tusk instead of treads, and bax instead of dragonite.

You don't have a good answer to some of the most common mons in OU IMO and this change-up helps to remedy some of that. (Psychic still hurts you but I'll let you work through that problem. It's not a big deal, but, you know).

The Tusk (Great Tusk) @ Leftovers
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Close Combat
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock

Knock-off is good but you can't deny the power of STAB CC. As far as the spread goes, if you find yourself needing more bulk then a 252hp/ 252atk spread would work well.

And for Bax:

The Baxc (Baxcalibur) @ Loaded Dice
Ability: Thermal Exchange
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Icicle Spear
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance

This acts as a better wincon than dragonite, and an ice type move will seriously help you in the long run.

The only other thing I would suggest is giving Hydreigon leftovers instead of an expert belt. The whole point of the set is to sub, nasty plot, KO some mons, so an expert belt seems redundant where leftovers can help you get back some crucial HP.
This is a quick rate but I hope it helps some!
