First of all in this specific team I want versatility, good synergy, and overall power of course. Secondly this team is for Wi-Fi battles on the 3DS ONLY! So I don't want responses to be as if im on showdown.
SO let's get started.
First up is Greninja
Timid
Proean
Expert Belt
252 SpA 252 Spe 4 HP
Dark Pulse Grass Knot
Ice Beam Surf
She is my lead as she can scout out potential treats or eleminate them all together. I decided to go with the expert belt over life orb for the simple fact that she's frail and resistances can only go so far in relation to damage.
Aegislash is up next...
Adamant
Leftovers
252 Atk 160 HP 96 SpD
King's Shield Sacred Sword
Shadow Sneak Swords Dance
Excaliber as I call him is of course my bulk. A good prediction can garuntee a SD and shadow sneak for priority. The only mons that really give him trouble is Mega Kangaskhan and Talonflame. But a good predict can help with talon. I was thinking about moving the SpD ev's to Def to help soften an earthquake.
Then there was Togekiss
Modest
Serene Grace
Razor Claw
252 SpA 252 Spe 4 HP
Air Cutter Thunder Wave
Roost Dazzling Gleam
My fairy of choice. This whole team started off with the trio above and they had good synergy with each other. But as of late I don't know if it's my luck or just how the game is now, but paraflinch only seems to work against me. If I got this right then it should be a 70% chance to flinch the opponent. But I could be wrong...
My Firefly - Volcarona
Modest
Flame Body
Chesto Berry
236 SpA 160 HP 112 Spe
Quiver Dance Bug Buzz
Fiery Dance Rest
Of course you already have gathered that this is a chesto/resto set. There isn't much to say about him. the only thing that really threatens him is unsuspecting rock-type users and stealth rocks.
Next up is the ferocious Gyarados
Adamant
Intimidate
Gyaradosite
248 HP 156 Def 88 Spe 16 Atk
Dragon Dance Waterfall
Ice Fang Earthquake
Ah my own personal monster. My thing with this beast is to either get a safe intimidate with physical threats, boost up thanks to its bulk, then sweep as best I can. So far he hasn't failed me yet. Paired up with Aegishlash they can make a great physical dampener.
And finally its Venusaur
Bold
Chlorophyll
Venusaurite
252 HP 240 Def 16 Spe
Giga Drain Leech Seed
Sludge Bomb Synthesis
I have mixed emotions about old Brute Brute (Root?). Anyways he was not my first choice but my team was in desperate need of a fairy counter. Azu would just tear through my team like used toilet paper. But ever since he came on the treat is nearly gone. Sometimes it's hard setting up leech seed but when I do it's worth it.
Finally my team's main threats are Mega kangas as I have no idea how to deal with her. If I see her on a team I'll usually use Togekiss and/or Vsaur. Is it me or my team. Also if you can think of any holes I can fill that would be nice. Thanks in advance for the advise/comments and remember that this is a WI-FI team only!
