I think it's mainly from the Neighborhood shenanigans. Phoopes had no reason to claim part of their role D1 to figure out all of the Psy things and they were truthful about using their ability twice without HH having to come in and claim his role beforehand. In addition to a role that ensures you action goes through without being redirected seems goated to be on the maf side and I don't see them using that on you the first day unless you're teamed together, and I unequivocally read you as town.

saber dbd are fully town in my eyes. if dbd's scum then scum always kill saber before even ic goes off. unless dbd's super deepwolf lying through his ass but im not in a place where i am considering this likely.
you are least likely to be scum in the neighborhood and its not close, tho id still be surprised if flandrs flipped maf but like, not majorly surprised
pebble's behavior from earlier in the game leads me to believe they are town
pulsar/airc/bliz are two of three town

It's also possible that his role can only target town, and he needs to get Saber lynched not killed in general. Idk if he ever clarified if it was just a lynching needed or any kind of death in general.

That is of course, if Phoopes isn't lying about his result/role on the first day.

my counter is that phoopes could easily do this as mafia if the intention with using empower n1 was to gain towncred (the only possible option if i am town) and it was an opportunity to bring it up sooner than a mass claim
