Wildcat [LC RMT]

To be completely honest, this looks like every other pre-HGSS team that I have seen, that said it's quite a solid team.

You may want to consider using Nasty Plot over Calm Mind on Missy though, that lets you sweep much more effectively then Calm Mind, especially with Little Cup's weaker defenses.

For Croagunk you may want to ditch Nasty Plot altogether since it will almost never have time to set up. Fake Out fits nicely in that spot, allowing you to revenge kill Scarfers and Sash users more effectively. I'd also change the nature to Lonely.

Pretty solid team, gj. Shed Shell on Magby is pretty interesting.

I did miss one thing: Magby with Cross Chop + Flare Blitz is illegal. I'd replace Cross Chop with something like Overheat to OHKO Gligar (and change the nature to Hasty).

Right off the bat, I do see some slight weakness to Polish Gligar or ever an SD Gligar, either way it can be a bitch to this team (especially ones who run Roost). On Croagunk, I dont see the point of running mix when you can use Mankey to check Gligar and add immediate Speed. Mix is only hitting opposing Croagunk, which your whole team can handle quite well. I just think Gliscor is the bigger problem and running Mankey can check it throughout the course of the entire game.

Mankey
@ Choice Scarf
Adamant Nature (Atk+ / Spe-)
36 HP / 196 Atk / 76 Def / 196 Spe

- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Ice Punch

Mankey fits the bill when you want to talk about checking / limiting Gligar's option for setting up. Everyone knows Mankey is running Scarf and Ice Punch is your weapon to scare it away. Close Combat for late-game, U-turn to scout for switch-outs, while Stone Edge hits shit like Matyke while still remaining neutral coverage with Ghost-types. Ice Punch hits Gligar solely.

With that being said, I think you should run Life Orb on Magby. Magby absolutely needs Life Orb, while Diglett might be a threat, you can hurt it with a boosted Mach Punch. It doesn't have time to switch-in on your attack anyways, unless it comes in after your Pokemon dies. Hopefully priority hits in enuff to place it a KO range with a boosted Mach Punch. 240 SpA / 240 Spe with Overheat / Flare Blitz / Mach Punch / ThunderPunch should work out.

As for other options, you can try running Shadow Sneak on Mismagius. I find Salac Berry to be lackluster on Missy to be honest, especially with Sneak missy around. The more priority the better, I also discovered that weakening something with priority helps Elekid or Magby clean up shit with Pokemon's hp reduced to a point where they can take it down with one hit. Exchange Salac for Oran or Life Orb, but I think Life Orb would work out better. overall gl
