Without the rain, there would be no rainbow!

Hey everyone,
I recently decided to make a Smogon account after lurking for so long. I was curious if anyone could give me some advice with my current and fairly standard rain team.

Thanks!

Politoed (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Toxic
- Protect
- Encore

Politoed, Mr. Rain himself. Getting toxic off or encoring someone so they can switch out, while also pushing out those Scalds. His leftovers make him bulky enough to get hit with a lot of attacks. The EV spread is a traditional, going for the max amount of survivability, along with the Bold nature. He’s a wonderfully versatile, and an excellent starter. All around staple in any rain team.

Latios (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Surf
- Thunder

My scarfed Latios for a fast Sp attacker, standard of course. I have Thunder for 100% accuracy in the rain, and Psyshock to get over Keldeo. Maxing out those SAtck and Speed EVs are a must, along with the Timid nature to max its quickness. It outspeeds any other dragon for a revenge kill making it a force to be reckoned with.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Stone Edge

My Landorus is the offensive kind with Lefys for some recovery. Originally I was interested in going for the Rock Polish set, but decided on this. I needed a Stealth Rock setter, so I chose Landorus for the job. Sometimes I'll start out with him for a quick Stealth Rock, U-turn out. His spread is for survivability as well, for he can get hit with some physical moves and not gets OKOed.

Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
- Superpower
- U-turn

Scizor here, #1 OU poke. Naturally, I’m running the max attack and HP EVs with Adamant nature along with Choice band to make sure his attacks pack a hit. His Technician ability is so powerful and a huge threat to many teams. What can I say? It feels great to Pursuit trap a Latios or Bullet Punch someone in the face. This is the best set!

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Aromatherapy
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic
- Softboiled

I just love my specially defensive wall. Blissey is a tank, her Leftovers and 252 Def/ Bold nature give her the defense she deserves. She takes all the hits for my guys, heals the status effects they get, while being able to Softboil her HP back up if its too low and wait for the toxic to burn off my opponent. It's great to predict a Breloom spore and switch back out. Dat Natural Cure! I think this is the best way to play Blissey!

Tentacruel (M) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Rain Dish
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spd
Bold Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic
- Scald
- Protect

Tentacruel! He noms all day in the rain with that Rain dish /Black Sludge combo, gaining that health and taking hits. 12.5% per turn is incredible. I decided for Toxic over the Toxic spikes for a more targeted approach, as well as protect for scouting the choice users. His EVs in HP and Def let him endure more than a hit and. He's also my spinner and absorbs those Toxic Spikes! No rain team is complete without one.

All and all, a standard set. But I do have some trouble with Keldeo, Ferrothorn, and Breloom. If you see anything I should do to make the team a bit better, let me know.

Thank you so much!
