PU Wobbuffet [Mini] (QC 2/2) (GP 1/1)

[OVERVIEW]

Due to the fact that the one thing that would make Wobbuffet usable, Shadow Tag, is banned, it's no surprise that it is completely useless in the PU tier. Wobbuffet has a shallow and predictable movepool, and it can't directly attack the opponent. This means that Wobbuffet is complete setup bait, can easily be chipped down by status conditions, and, above all else, is completely invalidated by its foe switching out. Many other walls, like Regirock and Jellicent, do a much better job at dealing with strong attackers because they can actually attack the opponent and have better utility options like Stealth Rock and Will-O-Wisp.

This set attempts to take hits from and eliminate strong all-out attackers like Mesprit, Skuntank, Jellicent, and Alolan Exeggutor thanks to its good bulk in conjunction with Mirror Coat or Counter. However, the foe can simply switch out, rendering Wobbuffet useless because it can't do anything unless the foe uses an attack. The best Wobbuffet can do is hope that it can knock something out with Destiny Bond, but even then, Wobbuffet can't use Destiny Bond two turns in a row, allowing the opponent to play around it easily by just switching on the turn Wobbuffet uses it. Taunt and Toxic also eliminate that option outright.

However, the opponent can simply switch out into something with Taunt or Toxic, making Wobbuffet complete set up bait or crippling it. Any wall, such as Audino, can wall better due having better utility options and recovery, like Wish, and any Encore or Destiny Bond user, such as Togedemaru or Froslass, can disrupt the opponent better thanks to their better speed and ability to threaten the opponent with other options.

legit just say "ppl can switch meaning it can't do anything" it has to play less than a 50/50 every turn.

Many other walls, like Regirock and Jellicent, do a much better job at dealing with strong attackers because they can actually attack the opponent and have better utility options like Stealth Rock and Will-O-Wisp.
