Wobbuffet PBR Wifi Team

This team is for online 3 vs. 3 Battle Rev matches. I know using Wobbuffet might be a little cheap because he is technically an Uber, but I want to use him anyway. This team's strategy involves annoying, trapping, and sweeping. It has two of each type of these types of Pokemon to hopefully make the best combo of the three for each individual match. Enjoy!

ANNOYERS

These two Pokemon serve three purposes. They usually lead, annoy, and pass Wishes to the team. Wob definitely likes Wishes. They both try to disrupt the opponents offense and put them on a defensive stand right from the start.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 242 HP, 56 Atk, 76 Def, 136 Spd
Nature: Impish
Zen Headbutt
Body Slam
U-Turn
Wish

Jirachi tries to paralyze the opponent from the start and then attack and make them flinch, or U-Turn out of there to return again to support the team with Wish.

Togekiss @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP, 6 Def, 252 SpDf
Nature: Calm
Air Slash
Water Pulse
Thunder Wave
Wish

Togekiss does the same thing Jirachi does but lacks U-Turn and gains another annoying tool, Confusion. I think she has a great balance of walling and attacking ability.

TRAPPERS

These guys prevent opponents from escaping, further annoying the other player and allowing my sweepers to set up.

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP, 152 Def, 106 SpDf
Nature: Relaxed
Mean Look
Yawn
Baton Pass
Wish

Umbreon has great defenses and and the ability the make almost any Pokemon extremely vulnerable to the next Pokemon on my team to come in. It can Mean Look or Yawn to force a switch, and proceed to trap and/or put to sleep and Baton Pass safely to the next Pokemon in my team. The EVs are for max HP and equal defenses.

Wobbuffet @ Leftovers
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: 6 HP, 252 Def, 252 SpDf
Nature: Bold
Counter
Mirror Coat
Encore
Safeguard

Standard Wobbuffet. You all know how this SOB works ;) The team was built around him.

SWEEPERS

These guys clean house. I needed two fast and powerful sweepers from both sides of the spectrum. Both have a way to increase their speed so they won't get hit once they get set up.

dpmfa373.png

Salamence @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd
Nature: Adamant
Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Dragon Dance

DDMence. I love this thing. Once it gets set up by the other members of my team it will DD once or twice and tear the rest of the team up.

dpmfa469.png

Yanmega @ Petaya Berry
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 6 Def, 252 SpAt, 252 Spd
Nature: Modest
Bug Buzz
Air Slash
Hidden Power (Ground)
Substitute

When he comes in he will hopefully have a free turn to Sub up and get a Speed Boost. He will get down into pinch range, get boosted SpAt along with his speed and sweep.

That is the team. Thanks for all your input

Using wobbuffet isn't cheap, its illegal.

Other than that, it looks pretty good. Aura Sphere > Water pulse on Togekiss

As far as I know, Wobbuffet is not illegal on Wi-Fi, unless your opponent specifies. You may want to run a Mixmence in order to get more sweeping diversity so you are not forced to switch out after your annoyer set up. Water Pulse should stay on Togekiss for the paraflinchfusion.

I see a problem with using Mixmence. In my opinion getting a free set up from a trapper needs to be used to set up some speed or some extremely hard offense. Mixmence doesnt do either. He is not as good of a pure sweeper as the DDMence. that is my reasoning for DD in this team. But I do love using Mixmence. I have one and it is really effective

I often play PBR but I never use ubers... defeating a team of ubers with a OU-BL team is very funny, but it's just me... Anyway, I see a little mamoswine weakness, nothing of your team can switch in safely unless you revenge-kill it with wobba... but I really hope that you limit wobba usage against full-ubers teams..

Ummm... you should really consider sleep inducers if you are going to try to run a team that doesn't just outrun everything and hit hard. If you are OK using Wobb, you can expect that your opponent might be OK with putting your pokemon to sleep.

You should consider a speedy lead with Safeguard, a sleep-inducing move of its own or a Lum Berry. That way you can shrug off sleep moves one way or another and then get around to annoying your opponent. Safeguard on your Wobb alone just isn't going to cut it. It's slow enough that something is going to put it to sleep and then your strategy is going to struggle quite a bit.

Now that you mention it i see that weakness too. what does that last sentence mean?

Sorry for my bad English, I mean that you should use wobbuffet only against opponents who have only ubers in their battle passes. But this is just my opinion, because PBR dose not have uber-clause. Have a nice day.

As for the sleeping problem, and Wobb's safeguard not being fast enough, im considering a cleric Celebi over someone. Good idea? and who to replace?
