Hi, don’t really have time to go digging through the weeds as I’m on vacation and already running at a PM/DM deficit, but I was told by someone that hosts are requesting both managers to submit their picks at the same time for the tiebreaker.

Historically, the higher seed submits second and the lower seed sends first for tiebreaks. Why? Because this assures repeats are avoided and it gives the higher seed the advantage in planning out their tiebreak. Repeats (among tiers picked by teams) aren’t typically allowed in tiebreaks, but this isn’t really as big of a deal. Nullifying the advantage of the higher seed is probably the bigger deal and seems to be done without any other benefit to outweigh it.

You guys can do whatever you want with your subforum tournaments technically, but I don’t think it makes sense to remove the advantage of the higher seed submitting second and having “precedent” for something doesn’t matter if it’s downright worse/wrong.

SV 1v1: Nuxl vs gorilaa
SS 1v1: tears vs Close

the narrative where west makes it to finals after missing playoffs for eternity only to lose in tb is for sure the most amusing outcome

SV 1v1 Bo7: eblurb vs RADU - I don't think RADU should be losing generally speaking. BUT Radu had to get the plot armor of prime DEG to win the finals series. Both have played a million tiebreakers before. this will be generational. Radu has to level up his building, to get the upper hand here (which might be impossible cause blurb loads teams from 4 different people every series).
SV 1v1: Nuxl vs gorilaa - I'm not sure if Nuxl intentionally doesn't keep his slots in check or if he's just not able to cause they do whatever they want. I think after West loses this tiebreak it'll be more on him than on anyone else. I think he's right to slot himself even though happysh was the only SV that won. He's still the second best CG player after blurb on that team. Tiebreaks are brutal and I think both are raw in this regard. Whoever has the best mental wins this.
SS 1v1: tears vs Close - I've never seen Close lose, and i wont see it now
 
Sv7: Eblurb vs Radu, I think radu takes it here again, he’s on a roll this wc and has better luck factor. Been impressed by radu overall this year.

Sv5 Nuxl vs Gorilaa: Seen good things from both here this wc, my gut is just telling me that seu sv is better overall so it’s closer to a toss up in this matchup and I think this’ll definitely be the decisive game

SS Tears vs Close: Close has been on a roll in sm, however I do not think the switch to ss is going to treat him the best here. He is by far the best option for seu to put into SS but I just think tears has this down here in this MU, had this been sm for the tb I think close had any matchup with sm on lock.
 
SV 1v1 Bo7: eblurb vs RADU - plot armor is strong but not indestructible and eblurb has looked literally unbeatable barring ungodly hax
SV 1v1: Nuxl vs gorilaa - if the past predicts the future this seems fairly nuxl favored
SS 1v1: tears vs Close - interesting highlight match, close has whooped my ass and several others so i would have to favor him if he wasnt facing a well-established mainer

SV 1v1: Nuxl vs gorilaa; Bro blanched should have won that series and he had 3-0 in one of his match but he went to predict gorilaa ig? Nuxl is really great and he can win this. Akeras great run dude! 70-30
SS 1v1: tears vs Close; Old gen was the only thing to carry SEU and close proved it right but SV did some crazy shit too!!! Idk but his name feels some serious villain arc who going to beat hero's ass.

If any of the SV slot manages to win US West will lose and it would be really really funny for me how they have the best SV builders.
