Yep, you didn't misread that name. Anyways, as you can tell by my name, I am Veteran Faith. I've been a competitive battler since the near start of Generation 5 BW2, in which was my return after abandoning it for 3 years. Of course, I was new to it as everybody, and I eventually caught up with it. Being a constant OU player, I managed to make one of the best teams I ever had: A sun team that was based on multiple experiences with a Pokemon. This one team carried me to the top of the ladder at least twice, and had lost only a total of 3 times, with a nice hefty amount of wins under it. Of course, I was too careless to take pictures of these, so I'm pretty sure this is unconvincing. Moving on, I started Gen 6 right away for strategies. Of course, I failed at least 7 times I would say, making teams that would constantly fall apart.
Realizing what I had been troubling me, I figured out one monster of a hitter for a special attacker: Mega Charizard Y. I never really did like charizard, and X seemed a bit boring to me, especially since I was getting that copy. But this one has turned me into a fan of it. This team is so far carrying a perfect record of about 9-0 on the ladder, me not being able to since this was built on school exams, moving on. Let's get into teambuilding:
Team Building Process:

Alright, so I started with the one Pokemon I wanted to use so much due to it's sheer power. I actually have taken a liking to it a lot, so Charizard-Y was the main subject of the team. Being a special hitter and still having that nasty rock weakness, I wanted to go for a good Defogger support, since I don't really run hazards anymore.

Knowing how greatly bulky this one Pokemon is, and the fact it's got an immense movepool with the one move I was looking for earned it's spot on my team. I don't use it for attacking though, its more of a support to stop setters and put teams on a thin-line. Stopping most hazard setters and being a wall-phazer, it just coincides well. Now, I knew my Mew can't take any nice special Dark moves or Ghost Moves, and I needed another wall that could also work as a sponge when I need it.

Yep, it's Mr. Duck Tank. I've loved this guy since my 5th Gen UU games, and he works very well in OU. Being able to take almost every hit to come it's way, Porygon2 has served as a turning point on my team and is just immensely powerful if you like taking an overview at it. Since it has a distinct weakness to fighting moves, and Mew can't take those hits all the time, I wanted a Pokemon to seal the glue on this walling pair.

Trevenant just holds this team together very well. It pulls off the most success of any ghost type I've tried before on this team already, and it works charms for me. Although it can be a bit lackluster of times, it helps me cover weaknesses on my team that are otherwise unable to be stopped. This will all be covered soon enough too. But moving onto our next Pokemon.

Oh man, this guy right here. I love him, he just works so well. Great moveset, works around almost every situation, and the intimidate it gets can force someone to switch, making a battle easier for me. Since he's one of my main physical attackers, I considered his weaknesses. I also wanted a good physical attacker that was fairy to resist these hits. Which brings me to my last Pokemon:

Azumarill, the child of pure attack + good moveset for a Pokemon. It works so well with this team and covers so many things. Plus, with the new fairy buff and a fun amount of movesets to throw around, this guy just fit with everyone else, and he was the complete glue of the team that makes it a success.
The Team:

Is that a...Nuke? @ Charizardite Y (♀)
Blaze / Drought
Role: Special Sweeper
Timid Nature
EVs: 4 HP | 252 Special Attack | 252 Speed
Moves:
+ Flamethrower
+ Solar Beam
+ Air Slash
+ Focus Blast
Nuke here is as he is described: a literal nuke against teams. Mega Y is a super hard hitter, and he's the main pokemon for this team. Of course with Drought in play, the obvious move for choice is Flamethrower, because it has all the power it needs from the sun being in play, causing it to catapult over Fire Blast. Solar Beam is obvious with the sun, and since I have the power it allows me to cover every Rotom scratching Scarf set. Air Slash is the standard choice for Charizard due to it's power and it covers any fighting types that could give me trouble. Focus Blast was placed after almost losing a battle due to a Heatran. I run 252 EVs most of the time on all of my pokemon, but for this hard hitter it's obvious.

Brigade @ Leftovers
Synchronize
Role: Tank | Anti-Lead
Bold Nature
EVs: 252 HP | 176 Defense | 80 Special Defense
Moves:
+ Taunt
+ Ice Beam
+ Defog
+ Soft-Boiled
Brigade is my general bulk and counter on the team. He's the Anti-Lead for annoying setters and in general stallers. He's also my Gliscor and counter for other things, such as Clefable. Moving on, Mew is so dang bulky is why this is effective. Taunt is to prevent hazards in general, Ice Beam is a general coverage move I use on Mew as I prefer it over psychic and it covers a Pokemon I have trouble with, being Gliscor. Defog is to get rid of hazards for my team, once I have ridded of the setter. Soft-Boiled is my form of heal, I just like it more than most haha.

Duck Tank @ Eviolite
Download
Role: Defensive Pivot | Utility Counter
Modest Nature
EVs: 252 HP | 148 Defense | 108 Special Defense
Moves:
+ Tri-Attack
+ Charge Beam
+ Thunder Wave
+ Recover
Duck tank is life. Anyways, Porygon2 has served me well so many times that i can't even say. He's just....so good as a team member. As a complete tanker that can switch in and hurt teams, he can also serve as a damage sponge. I run Tri-Attack + Charge Beam to allow me to hurt their team a lot. I run Thunder Wave to get a nice deadlock on teams for me, and Recover because well, I need health, but this move is what makes Porygon2 such a great pokemon.

Lost Soldier @ Sitrus Berry
Harvest
Role: Stallbreaker | Defensive Pivot | Spinblocker (so much ._.)
Adamant Nature
EVs: 252 HP | 68 Attacker | 188 Defense
Moves:
+ Leech Seed
+ Will-o-Wisp
+ Horn Leech
+ Earthquake
Soldier is more so on here for the coordination he provides to the team. I realized I needed a Grass Type as it serves my Fire/Water/Grass core, and I knew I needed a Pokemon that could serve these purposes, and I prefer it over Gourgeist. Moving on, this guy just literally breaks every wall out there, including the Chansey Twins. I'm generally cool with replacing Earthquake, it's just been there since I thought it was useful. Moving on, Leech Seed is for the general purpose of healing, and coordinates well with a good majority of my pokemon. Will-O-Wisp is for the nice burn that goes with this guys main point to take physical hits also, whilst Horn Leech is a must to get health and finish off Pokemon that are a no-no like Terrakion.

Kamikaze @ Choice Scarf
Intimidate
Role: Offensive Pivot | Attacking Lead
Jolly Nature
EVs: 4 HP | 252 Attack | 252 Speed
Moves:
+ Earthquake
+ Knock Off
+ Rock Slide
+ Superpower
Kamikaze is my general lead to start games against non-setter teams or easy ones to beat. Due to his nice movepool and general workability, I chose him over all else for my team. I run Earthquake as his obvious STAB to hit hard, Knock Off to rid of Eviolites and just general Psychic types. Rock Slide is to take care of annoying flying types like Talonflame, and Superpower is for the Chansey Twins + Baloon Steel Types (thanks Heatran).

The Harbringer @ Choice Band
Huge Power
Role: Late Game Sweeper | Revenge Killer
Adamant Nature
EVs: 252 HP | 252 Attack | 4 Speed
Moves:
+ Aqua Jet
+ Play Rough
+ Superpower
+ Knock Off
Now, before I get insults hurled at me, yes I still run Banded Azu. Why? Because I prefer it over the Belly Drum set because I want to keep him alive and I'm used to running it. Anyways, Harbringer is my late game sweeper and the basic glue of this team. He stops all dragon types barring T-Bolt Latios, and is just a generally good Pokemon. II run the obvious Aqua Jet and Play Rough on him, Superpower is more of a filler, and Knock Off is for annoying Steel types such as Jirachi and Metagross. This guy may need different moves, I honestly do not know. But hey, there is a reason I put it up for review.
I have hidden/put the team in a spoiler due to it being long and me not wanting to clutter the page. Hope you enjoyed the team, feel free to rate it however you want. Here's the Exportable. (goes to Pastebin)
